She is a kindergarten teacher… as a Mom my kindergarten teacher got top gifts (I spent like $50) but the rest of the years and even my second child’s kindergarten teacher… sorry but I am broke now.
For my class on teacher appreciation week no one got our homeroom teacher anything. It was because her birthday was on the the last day so our whole class decided to give her like $50 give cards, Starbucks, self care packages, etc. she was so happy😊
Literally every year my mom goes out of the way to get our teachers gifts. Years later they remember us to that day. All teachers appreciate gifts no matter the gift.
I'm a teacher. Once the school got me 2 glue sticks for teacher appreciation week. It said, "your the glue that holds this school together." The next year it was a little handful of swedish fish in a ZIPLOCK that said, "we need you in our school" the was it. Lol
when i was in high school, i remmeber asking one of my teachers what they got and she goes “all we got was GiFt CaRdS.” …i bet you rlly would’ve appreciated a gift card that year :p if they didn’t have all the teachers, the ppl who gave u that “gift” wouldn’t have a job. i hope they stepped it up since then cause that sucks :(
I immediately said pink bag sure looks like the bath and body works mother's days 45 dollar gift set. Now that was a gift. So sweet of that parent. God bless you and thanks for what you do
I miss teaching so much… It was so rewarding for me when I worked with the children I taught (I worked with children with special needs at a special needs school)… Especially those that were struggling with there emotions or were nonverbal in the beginning.. Getting to hear them say the smallest words (even if it was only basic ones) after spending months encouraging them was extremely emotional and I always felt so proud of each and everyone of them… xxxx
You deserve all of those gifts that you recieved, and teachers really need an increased pay rate. Thanks for all that you do to make this world a better place. ❤❤❤
I love that the recognition, whether it's gifts or gestures or kind words, is always reciprocated. Your student (and their parents) appreciate you so much, and you OBVIOUSLY love and appreciate your kiddos.
Or you’re privileged to work in a district with middle to higher incomes. I live in one and we spend a lot on our teachers and that’s bc we can afford it and they deserve it. My mom works in a lower income area school and those kids write notes bc their parents cannot afford nice gifts like this. Doesn’t mean they are great teachers too, but it’s blessing to be able to be very comfortable financially.
@@kiaramurray832 I mean it’s evident in her videos that she makes the learning experience and social experience in her classroom overall fun for the students so even if she’s in a district with high or middle class income, she is still a great teacher.
Thank you for the service you do for our children priceless on the reaction of the items you receive and you loving it may God continue to bless you for your service ❤
This shows how much your students appreciate you thank you to all teachers around the world for all the sacrifices you all make for us to become what we will become❤
The first time I’ve seen a teacher get a gift that actually makes them feel seen and appreciate and that a student and parent actually put time to make this gift for a teacher ❤❤❤❤❤❤
If your a teacher you deserve all that and more, teachers are highly underpaid , cotsco workers make more annually than teachers do .Its insane ! Much appreciation ti all the teachers all over the world !
I am a preschool teacher and it is my first year teaching and I agree 100%. Teaching is all about the kids and definitely involves a passion and wanting to make a difference. Every time I tell someone I am a teacher I always hear people say I could never do that.
Your such a great thoughtful passionate teacher. Your energy ideas for celebrations are awesome. Your so upbeat! Love it and can tell by childrens hoots and cheers keep smiling and great work Sara. From Maine ❤❤❤
sara, i appreciate what you said in the last bit. i work with preschoolers at a daycare, and i’ve been there almost a year now, but i’ve really been struggling with it, even to the point where i’m losing my desire to have children in the near future.. i’m only 22yrs old, and i love kids, and i’ve always wanted to give my future children a better life than i had, but i don’t know if what i’m doing is really my passion, however, your videos encourage me to keep trying. ❤️
This entire gift was awesome and one of the best teacher gifts I've seen so far. Thank you to all the caring teachers who put in the time and effort to teach your kids and to go above and beyond for the kids. My kids are grown but I appreciate my grandsons wonderful teacher❤
She's genuinely excited & APPRECIATIVE for her gifts and I love to see that. I'm not a teacher but I do have a few educators in my family from teachers, professors, and an aunt whose the principal at an Alternative School. One of my aunts teaches the 5th grade, and alota her students don't have much money so she spends A LOT of money outta her pockets to look out for those kids. I even know the clothing sizes of half of her kids because whenever I go to Wal-Mart, thrifting, or ANYWHERE, I call to let her know what's on clearance 🤭 and she tells me what to get. And Wal-Mart always have a REALLY GOOD SALE on School supplies and also clothing. At her school, the kids have the option to wear uniforms or street clothes, and I caught the uniforms on sale for one & two dollars for each piece. While I was on the phone with her, she was in class looking to see what sizes her kids wore. Now she has designated spaces in her classroom full ANY & EVERYTHING her kids needs, whether it be a change of clothes or an extra bookbag. I help her to MAKE SURE her students will not have to be without anything they need at anytime.
Teachers are literally spending HOURS a day with our future generation. They absolutely should be in good spirits, paid well, and loved. Moms and teachers need to be raised up in this society. And dads who act as moms too.
As a former social worker, I'm laughing at how much trouble I would've been in if I'd accepted gifts like that from clients. Yep, social services pays just as bad, the stress is even worse and you're forced to have an awkward conversation about ethical boundaries if you manage to build enough rapport with clients that they think to buy you something. 😂
you're such an amazing person. and you're completely right when you say you're underpaid and your actions go unnoticed. i'd have loved to have you as my teacher in kindergarten! and late happy teacher appreciation week 🫶🏻
my mom is a teacher and It is the best time seeing her bring all the stuff home her kids and parents have gotten her. Teachers do so much and deserve way more than they get❤️
My mom is a teacher and she gets gifts from students on holidays and they are handmade or something bought or food not only that but I also gift a lot of teachers gifts because of their hardwork and hardships
Teach in a northern state like Massachusetts or NJ, they pay their teachers pretty well. My mom was a teacher in NC and so is my sister. The pay is not it in the southern states. Barely livable. And you guys literally are such an integral part in our kids’ lives.
Teaching is a very hard job so you deserve it queen! Your students are very sweet! You are lucky to have them aswell as they are very lucky to have you! Stay happy!❤❤❤❤

Yes. I noticed that too! Lol
Finally! Seeing a teacher’s POV instead of the parent making the gift because I’ve seen so many negative comments on those.
