      Maduro and his thugs have stolen power from the people of Venezuela. Anyone who has been paying attention know this election was neither free nor fair, and the hilarious bit is that, even though the chavistas corrputly tried to smother the opposition, he still definitely lost, which is why they are now falling back on fraud. I dont care if maduro genuinely believes that his opposition are fascists and puppets, all dictators have excuses for why they rule with an iron fist, and like every other sorry excuse, the puppets line is utter garbage. The truth is that maduro is a false revolutionary, a man who talks a big game about throwing off the yoke of American oppression, but is really only interested in wealth and power. I hope that justice prevails in venezuela, that country has suffered enough chavista oppression.

    • @braedonallen4291
      @braedonallen4291 4 months ago +6

      @@ankpms830 No it doesn't. The US is a net exporter of oil, it has the largest proven reserves of any nation in the world. What the US government wants is for its companies to be allowed to invest in other nations' oil industries for a cut of the profit. In Venezuela's case though, oil has absolutely nothing to do with the US's role in the ongoing crisis, because what the US wanted was a free and fair election. They sanctioned Venezuela because Maduro rigged the last election, and reimposed sanctions because Maduro was trying to undermine the opposition during the campaign. Now, what they want is transparency on the results, because there is basically no transparency from the government on the counting of votes or the results of the elections. No matter what way you look at it, Venezuela is in its current position because Nicolas Maduro is a fraud, who cares more about power and wealth than he does his people and nation.

Calling oposition members "fascists" without having to prove it is the best excuse to persecute opposition without being called out, but please understand that it's manipulation and Venezuelans see through that.
