God was feeling lonely, that’s why He made the world and peoples .He loves us more than we love Him.He is providing us everything we need in our life. We should be grateful to Him.
Exactly he was a conscious existence before There was anything . Everything he created is a product of the vast desolate eternal existence of aloneness, emptiness, solitude , complete isolation, it just wasn't enough then He created the heaven and earth and the spirit of God hovered over deep of the water then He said let there be light and so on . Here we are nothing else can be done except immerse ourselves to the eternal oneness created being and creator.

Even though the physical environmental, surrounding , insurmountable and super distracting evidence of historical suffering of humanity doesn't help you see it, there is a reason it all happens. I hope you know torah verses . But in the beginning there was nothing first when God began creating heaven and earth. There was a beginning ( WHEN )At some point in the before anything came forth into existence . There was a when Then God then began then creating heaven and earth . . He said let there be light and God saw that the light was good and so on with everything else God saw that the light was good. Ask yourself this question, why is God saying , saw that the light is good ? It has multiple meanings of God's own character and personality, is like a wine brewer he created a wine barrel , tested sipped it and saw that the wine was good. Another meaning God likes good created things . Another meaning there was also the possibility of bad things . How can God know if light is good if there isn't an opposing force ( BAD) so even though is not mentioned in order for God to distinguish between good and bad there has to be 2 opposing forces even for light there must be darkness , . And also darkness wasn't created by God, He only created heaven and earth and light, darkness was already there , bad was already there , everything that is created in today's Era, has 2 opposites, man and woman , female goat male goat , positive battery terminals and negative , hot and cold , good and evil, life and death , etc ... etc.. I can go on forever but you get my point . So when God began. There was at some point before God a ( WHEN) . THEN (GOD) whatever that kind of existence was it was a form of existence even if your imagination says nothing. No matter how hard you juggle your head as to figure out what it was . It was whatever it was a form of evidence, dimensionally, imaginary , dark matter , whatever it was , we can get close enough as to suggest it was a kind of nothingness. Even if was just a word there was the word ( nothingness) , . Now that nothingness was and is the original state the raw state, the source state a kind of space and time ,matrix or background something was there okay . No matter how insignificant it was. Is just significant enough for creation to come forth from , for creation to be birth from , morph from , or expand from , or multiply from , or detonate from , it was an abyss so God began existing from that place , a conscious being , I can assume easily he was there alone for an eternity. Alive, aware , living , existing, just like a man in a comma but with nothing else to share your existence, to talk to , have a conversation with , express your emotions with , your feelings with , your plans with , your ideas with , a partner to share creation with , a friend, a servant. So you get my point , we are what he wanted us to be. And the suffering comes the original state trying to return everything that is created back to the original state by means of decay , rusts, oxidation, wasting, lifespan deterioration, that darkness that existed along with God before light is equivalent to bad because there everything was bad and when something good was created God saw the light was good .and creation was good animals are good, and so on , so bad is like gravity on earth it makes us heavy but we need it as a gravitational force so we can walk on earth and not float away to space and keep our bodies strong, so that nothingness is gravity we need it as a form of ground or space, or background, so creation can be placed and that is where all the evil comes from mindless as it is ,soulless as it is , is always trying to reverse everything back to nothingness just like gravity what goes up must come down , and said don't jump off a cliff so gravity doesn't kill you but humans don't obey Him. Ask yourself this question if God knows gravity kills people from high altitude, why he doesn't remove gravity from earth ,? Because nothing can exist without opposing forces a battery cannot run if it doesn't have a positive and negative terminals to establish a connection, so we are evil and good because we as everything else is needs duality to give us balance like the Newtown law , all the suffering comes from people not listening to God solely on his commandments. Like don't jump off a cliff you will die . When have humans ever heard the voice of God. ? Only the jewish people. And we constantly hear his voice and do what he commands . Because He is only there to preserve us and protect us if heed his voice , and the drive that make us be evil is the gravitional force of darkness trying as subtle as gravity as it is , soulless as it is , mindless as it is , to reverse everything that is created back to the original raw state. . And science calls it the big bang . Space is expanding at some point after an exploding it reverses naturally .
Randomness indeed is also another reason when God said let there be light and saw that light was good because everything that he created was done through trial and error this is why he says God saw that the light was good. He is just making things creating things as they happen naturally as he also was randomly morphed into, sprout out , birthed out , came about into existence all by his own nature. Without assistance and help just on his own he came to be what he is God. And we call him God because he is our first conscious, aware ,self existing being ,all by his own right . So everything that's coming out defective is part of the consequence of the original darkness place, state , trying by its natural law of nothingness to reverse everything back to the original state. And it all manifests itself in our own duality as a negative behavior, self destructive behavior in our own world they are just opposing forces . That's why God told Adam and Eve you can eat of every tree except the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Keep in mind 2 opposing forces. All we had to do was simply not eat it. Evil and good we know what's good by being evil and we know what evil by being good. He also told Cain sin is lurking like a lion to overpower you ,but you must conquer it. And he failed. God conquered evil and darkness with light. Hence we are made in God image, meaning we have the same opposing forces within us , same duality because as every creation is made so is us . And we have the power to conquer darkness, with light . Just like God conquered darkness with light . So the dark forces are like gravity it can kill you if you don't thred carefully around it by following God's commandments. Just like when someone tells you don't jump off a cliff so you don't die. That's how God commands us. We just don't listen, we refuse to listen consequently killing ourselves and letting the negative forces to commit atrocities such as the holocaust, wars , evil to one another and we can conquer it all. No matter how hard we try to banish evil it will always be part of creation. That's why God put the tree of knowledge of evil and good. Because even God himself knows is just part of creation just like a canvas God is the artist and he paints on it all kinds of vibrants creatures , humans, demons , angels, spirits, manifestations, dimensionally, physically, energetically, gaseous, mass , atomical, subatomic, particle, on every level and degrees of existence on his canvas. So darkness is the canvas itself the when is the canvas itself it was and is a significant enough kind of existence. So that is the reason we must support God's agenda completely and wholeheartedly, without a doubt on our mind and soul all his decrees and commands . They all aren't just laws like a burden , is just the only way to preserve our life and existence of all cosmic existential beings and creatures in every degree ,level , dimensional , physically and spiritual of life . They are not there to kill us they are there for our well being .
@Phil Dodd (HistoriaAntiqua.ORG) I'm not confused is just hard to explain, to narrow down everything down in simple words and your level of understanding, knowledge, studies, wisdom, spiritual wisdom, . Is like trying to explain a very complicated subject such as sexuality to a child of 5 years old you can try drawing pictures, make structures, and he might nod his head seeming to understand what you trying to say. But in truth he only gets an idea , a theory, a concept , but on actual physical, sweat and brow he will never do till he actually engages in sexual relations to see the truth as it is. And in this case you are the child and you just can't grasp the truth because indeed you have your own theories and degree of knowledge and levels of understandings of things and experiences so based on your own final conclusion which you hold dearly and firmly and stubbornly you will not believe me nor understand it because your heart is uncircumcised, and have never experienced the things i have which I wanted the truth raw and straight vodka , no ice , no water I asked God to give it to me as it truly is .that I was ready to accept it even if it kills my soul and everything I believed before. By deep extensive, insatiable suffering and extreme growth ,maturity , on all levels spiritual and physical. Experiencing all the evil and staring at evil right in the face without all the facade and sensationalism and glorification that from that perspective it seems I finally saw it buttnaked raw cold empty destructive energy grappling everything in its path to self destruction of all life and it manifests itself the snake for what it is powerless and completely defeated only by those who discover it . And only completely righteous people will see it and automatically become total servant of God. Your loyalty is completed and whole because now at that level of growth and maturity you just know better and every decision you make or choices it has to be completely deliberate, and righteous, no longer is off the bat . You just reflect deeply even in ridiculous things . Only because is imperative that your choices concide with God almighty and is the constitution of creation and i abide by his constitution which is Torah.
That's why you scoff at what I said because thanks God I already know you have not suffered enough abuse and evil to experience the truth on your flesh just to help you understand it deep ,deeper than any other level of understanding. Theory everyone knows theory , but by physical and spiritual experience is deeper than any theory. Which you lack.

Out of all the religious denominations I've went to, they never made sense of thier bible clearly. It always felt short of the truth listening to their teachings and unsatisfied to a degree. But you Rabbi Friedman have finally made so much clear that it's like the first time I've even been excited to watch the next video and the next and so on that I continuously want to dive into it. I used to fantasize and imagine myself "a good and faithful servant" of the Lord. I'm older now and have come to realize that no matter how hard I try, I will never be anything close to a "good and faithful servant." (An unprofitable servant at best.) I've come to realize that my whole life has been custom-made and designed (from the start) to bring me personal joy. And not just for the here and now but for forever I'm not talking about being happy over some favorite food or something new and shiny, but feeling inexplicable pride and joy over family, friends and oneself. And feeling that way almost all the time. It's all way beyond any silly fantasies of mine. Even hardships and adversities, seem to be just part of some master plan. I can't explain it.
Today, a 'faithful servant' feeds the poor. If you want to be 'a child of the light' you need to read the Bible until you have no questions about what any passage means.

Rabbi Friedman, your sermon here is truly inspiring. It is GOD inspiring. Initially, you point out how people always try to define God. How is it possible to define God, or anyone else for this matter? Me thinks, some perhaps should be working on how to define themselves - though, this is just me. Also, on this subject, me, as a Christian, I viewed on the cover of Time Magazine a photo of Jesus Christ stating, "Who do you say I am?". Closely related.
I really like the manner in which you segue into a person's RELATIONSHIP with God. Furthermore, you point out this is what he is looking for and people of faith, isn't it what we are looking for?
There were so many interesting points you brought out here of which there is probably not enough computer band width to speak about at this time.

Love knows every star by name.
We accomplish this by appreciating this paradise planet lifeboat and the miraculous works of fine art called "life" that inhabit it.
If we extinguish our light and warmth (love) with greed and it's ignorance (hate)... we become the darkness and emptiness that surrounds the stars.
Both here on this physical plane called earth like it is on the metaphysical plane we call heaven.

My family on my moms side grew up as devoted Christians and my dads side as Catholic. My mom and a lot of people on my moms side always tried to make you follow God in the Christian faith as a child.
I never was one to stick with it because of the rhetoric used but idk what it is with learning about what I am familiar with through the eyes of the Hebrew faith.

He's perfect because you can see him they way you want him to be.
Imagine the constellations of " atoms" in one dimension integrated to form one human. Imagine the variations of interactive humans of each type created with their own culture, ethics and community. Imagine the stellar configurations that exist both constructive and destructive , starry planetary systems and black holes etc. The very crucible or small scale interoperability in human terms between stable and unstable galaxies is vetted and validated in the miniaturized " life" constellations of human's animals etc and purified thereafter into solutions at higher dimensions. Humans can only perceive values related to their livelihood in light enhanced environment.

You are getting it wrong all Rabbis do the same thing just like Rabbi Mani , is just that Torah has many aspects and many layers of hidden secret wisdom and they all explain their part of Torah wisdom . Torah is like a puzzle we need all the Rabbis to help us understand the deep hidden secrets of Torah. No Rabbi is a political or corrupt puppet. They know they can't play with God himself. They are just servants and always do what God tells them to do in their own unique according to their skills , talents , gifts , communication abilities, part of the world they live in , branch of Judaism they practice it , commitment to God. All Rabbis even though it doesn't make sense what they talk about when you don't understand it . They are onto something is just you that can't grasp what they trying to convey. This is why is imperative and extremely important for anyone who wants to understand to study Torah day and night or whenever you have time as much as possible and I recommend the Torah that has Hebrew and English transliteration. Always strive to get a Torah from a Rabbi himself. Don't buy those with different translations versions. That's why most people can't understand Torah due to the corruption of translation. Just whenever you see a synagogue ask the Rabbis in there to sell a Torah the same one Moses had . With the exact same wording , grammar , exact literal transliteration. Don't waste time buying modified bibles . You will just end up going on circles forever like a rat on a wheel .

It only teaches about the commandments so we can live a better life . Like do not murder , do not steal , do not commit adultery, even though it sounds like a law . Behind that law exudes another secret meaning. How can you love your fellow neighbor? By just saying I love you ? Just empty words ? To do a mitzva means to do a good deed , meaning loving your neighbor or fellow man or woman by not murdering them , not stealing from them , not committing adultery with your fellow's wife or husband , that's how you serve God by not doing nonen of those things to God's own children which is the entire humanity . But the talmud is also part of jewish studies talmud is a book that explains in greater detail the law a very extensive one and it covers a wider range of wisdom and multiple layers of mystical wisdom . Which Torah also has it hidden deep . Talmud ,kabbalh and all those books are just for those who wants to advance deeper and in God's realm , hidden realm . @@samihassan5158 nope really think about at some point in the beginning there was nothing. The thing is God was ,is ,and will be the first existential consciousness, awareness , independent God. That's why we call him God, because He is the first and from Him everything became conscious like he is , like humans animals, even the tiniest cells. They all have a degree of consciousness and intelligence. Because all of them is a by-product of God Himself . . You have to keep in mind that there was just nothing no even God . Just depressing, desolate, emptiness, devoid of anything alive in any form or shape or dimensional. Physically or spiritually or unseen and seen . That's what gives God the title of King of the universe . The title of Deity . What's a deity independent of all his creations.He is not subject by the laws of his own creation . Only we are and when you say God is timeless, you are right but timeless meaning eternal , infinity , so in order for Him to be eternal there was a beginning which became eternal doesn't mean that He will die one day , it just means He had a beginning but after the beginning he remains forever.

@@samihassan5158 yes there is something against God himself an opposing force but is not powerful to dominate God , it doesn't have a mind nor a soul is like gravity we know gravity exists even though we don't see it but is there, is always pulling us back against the earth, but we can conquer gravity even birds, or flies, or butterflies , is a conquering and dominated force even human beings overcame gravity with flying devices, drones , airplanes, rockets to space, is always there no matter how we deny . We are just superior over it. Is the power of darkness, the original state before there was anything. There was an existence prior creation and even beginning .whatever and however it existed it was the original state , like when you build a building you need raw materials, concrete , water , electrical wired bricks , pipes, and so on , then that is the original state before you build something likewise creation there was an original raw state, . So after beginning God jump started, morphed out , propelled , initiated , caused , force out of nothingness from beginning creation. It takes effort that's why he rested on the 7th day after all he created. So that nothingness has a draw to return everything back to the original state. Because creation is not the original raw state of existence , creation is built , is designed ,is fabricated from another dimension that is the original state. So from that dark force which is like gravity that God conquered creating light , as we conquered gravity . Is where all the evil and destructive force of humanity comes from and it shows its face its nature, it reveals itself or manifests in the form of decay deterioration, oxidation, any negative form or behavior through us rusting out, I mean in all forms of negative aspects that in conjuction with all the power of darknesswhich is the original state, structure , dimension,or canvas because that state is the canvas where creation sits so it can sit on or painted on all the vibrant colors of creatures, humans, demons angels whatever it is bacterias,germs ,fungus I mean every single form of life form in every dimension, , so God and everything that's created must have darkness and light in order for existence to be held together. Just like we need gravity so we can have place to walk on. If we didn't have gravity our bodies would lose strength just like astronauts do when they spend over a year in ISS international space station. That's why there is evil in the world that's where the dark forces that drive us to self destructive behavior comes from .is just a natural force in which creation sprint from, and like a gravitational pull is constantly trying to return everything to the original state .and everything in the universe has polar opposites such as good evil ,cold ,hot ,positive ,negative and according to quantum mechanics all things came into existence because of the natural balance between all opposing forces coming together in an agreement of balance of bring neutral using both sides to agree on bringing about the perfect speed , temperature, energy, light , all particles and atomic building blocks of life subatomic, is a combination of 2 opposing forces coming together to middle ground to bring forth all life on universe. That's why God sent the flood to wipe out all flesh because everybody became continously evil since birth therefore because man was created in God's image with all dualities of creation which both are needed to give us balance and make creation possible just like a painter needs a wall to paint or a canvas so do creation it needs darkness so light can be visible .so humanity allowed the negative natural force of creation to dominate them rather than listen all of God's commandment so we can preserve our life and existence which God himself is continously doing recreating and sustaining every day of our life .

The reason it is impossible for us to understand what god is, is because we can’t comprehend an existence outside of TIME. There is no beginning or end, everything has always existed, nothing needed to created, because everything has always existed. This is what it means to exist outside time or without time(non-time). This is the infinite god. I am that I am. I am complete and have always been complete.
Imagine you are holding a film reel of your entire life, when you look at that film reel, you are seeing/experiencing your entire life all at once, outside of TIME. Your life is complete in that final reel of film. Now Also imagine your life from each frame in that reel of film, from that perspective you are now creating the film reel of your life, one second of time to the next. You are experiencing the creation of your life in TIME. This is the simplest way to illustrate God. God IS the completed film reel of all existence. We are also god creating itself, one frame at a TIME. Ask anyone who has experienced an NDE (near death experience) they will tell you what it feels like to exist outside of time. They will also say that they felt like they are god, but also not god. That is because they are experiencing the god film both in time and outside of time. We are god existing in time, in order to create the god film that already exists outside of time. It may sound like a paradox, but it is not. A paradox is a phenomenon of time. There is no paradox between Time and non-Time. Both states exist, time and non-time. It’s just that we can’t comprehend non-time. Now also try to imagine what it would look like from your perspective of looking out from each frame of the film. From every second of your life in the film you would see your eternal self looking back. It would appear like your eternal self always existed.
From the perspective of looking out from the film, you would see your eternal self, your eternal self would always be there, from no matter which frame you looked out, your eternal self would be visible. Like the sun in the sky, it is always there. From the perspective of you looking at the completed film real, you would see every frame of film all at once, you would see an infinite numbers of you. Since time or film frames can be broken into infinite units of time. This illustrates the alpha and the omega. God FROM eternity TO infinity.
It’s not such a problem that so many people fill the answer to “How did it all begin?” with fanciful stories claiming connection to a divine being. What is a problem, is when that turns into claiming rights to the detriment of others, based on supposed connection to the divine being. It would be helpful if we negotiated ways of living peacefully together, built on knowledge and experience, rather than on ancient stories built on ignorance, myth and fantasy.

If there is no God, then the suffering of humanity is easily understood, but if there is a God, then the question becomes equally as clear because if there is a God, that God is not benevolent or loving.
