I have been a fan of ultra thick acapella chords for decades!! 🤗 And, this group has nailed their parts of this gorgeous piece. However, even though 'cluster' chords may sound mashed to the ear, the singer 'still' must sing in-tune, and 'with' the others. Some voices have to work on their pitch. Evidence comes when in various video moments, they 'should' be ALL on the same pitch, singing 'together' in unison. Listen again? Some voices are off almost a quarter of their pitch-- both cluster, and when singing in unison. The effect is lightly distracting. It's been years since this video was made. That's a challenging piece, and the group accomplished it! These youths are now young adults. I hope they always find an excellent music choir or group throughout life. The moral is that each note is incredibly important. Because you might think it is 'hidden' so it doesn'treally matter? No. To the director, and those in the audience they hear the collective effect. Every living Life, everything you Do, you ADD to The Art of Life. Even you, are not hidden, but every person in our lives ADDS soooo much, and gratefully are much appreciated. Music of the Spheres.
