This feature is pretty awesome, To have a team which some of your characters will have unique interactions with is such a cool touch, I wish ths happened with Genshin.
Probably will be a thing much later. People compared their party selection screen and how HSR was better until Genshin did a better one with entry animations and dynamic backgrounds. Also, easier to implement now due to HSR's lack of characters as the game is still in its first year. Genshin's reaching 70 now, so I don't expect Genshin to get this any time soon.

I used my friend's Blade this morning and was like "Strange, I have never heard him mention Jingliu". Then I remembered that this is not Genshin and they are supposed to be silent when picked. Honestly, it is so nice to find these new additions by yourself, always catches you off guard. I also got an achievement after beating Yanging in the new simulation and I was like: "I bet this is because the last hit was Jingliu", and I was absolutely correct. It is strange that I was against the idea of character locked achievements in Genshin, but I absolutely love that these exist in Honkai! On my way to get all my stellaron hunters dominated by Kafka

Unfortunately, they don't have any for one another as they're considered as one being. There are a few Characters without voice lines for one another. For example, Luka and Gepard didn't meet one another in the Trailblaze Story, hence no interaction during team setup. Natasha as well, has no interaction with Gepard as they only met once during the Trailblaze Story. Only those with deep connections with one another have been given interactions.
It's kinda surreal everytime I remember that Hertha is actually an emanator... All of a sudden, it makes sense why everyone in the space station cannot say anything to her...
