Right off the bat, Performages now being able to 1-Card Rank 4 is great with Magistus. There were builds that were playing them together previously, so this new support really helps them out.
Something fun to note: Astral Force is being searchable by Shadow Maker makes it so Ebon High Magician or Big Eye can be made in Performage. Also, the new RUM is pretty decent for Masquerade into Umbral Horror. It's a pretty niche card, but it is a decent Extra Deck option against things like Tenpai that also happens to be a valid target for a pretty strong Number C monster later. Definitely not the best use of the card, but the option is there
@@patrickmunneke8348 it’s not really great by modern standards though it synergizes with it’s deck well but it’s too reactive it doesn’t generate advantage on its own and can be played around safely by most decks (although it’s not a completely awful card)

FINALLY MORE SPELLCASTERS!! Kinda sucks that you're not aware of what the older cards did because that would give you a better understanding of how the new cards work with them
Performage Shadow Maker combined with that new RUM card makes a pretty good generic Xyz climb engine. Especially the fact it can send Trick Clown or Juggler as cost and even revive those if needed when you detach to activate the one material through the engine. The only good play I can think of is make a generic Rank 4 Spellcaster, Link it away for something, revive with the new RUM and Xyz into Shadow Maker. Activate Shadow Maker, send Trick Clown or Juggler, search RUM Argent Chaos Force. Use it on Shadow Maker to make CXyz Nasch Knight. Activate Nasch to Summon any Number 101 to 107 Xyz, add back Argent Chaos Force, then summon the C version of the Xyz you have.
Unless I'm completely misunderstanding the phrasing (like I did the question), No. Unlike with returning cards to hand, but like with returung cards to deck, it is not counted as adding
with the way cup tricker is worded, I* think so. It's asked a card to be added to Extra Deck, if an xyz monster gets bounced, it's being added to the ED. It'd be a diff case if a card A said: if a monster is returned to hand, you activate compulse to bounce an xyz to 'hand' but goes to ED, card A can't trigger bc a monster wasnt sent to hand but ED.
Okay, I’m cooking in my brain here…. I feel like the Level 5 Charmer Familiars that summon from deck could slot in really nicely here, with all of the attributes. Could be too much deckbuilding concessions, and it depends on how hard they can plus, but being a pend deck makes that seem a lot easier to stomach. Plus they can help search out another interruption with some of the Spiritual Art traps (Wind atleast is a straight bounce to hand). Seems worth testing with at the very least
Performage have a good engine and a graveyard loop (but face-up extra deck) but outside of that their cards are not special. They are good to use generically with other spellcaster pends from other archetypes.
Now that i think about, the new rank up magic could be use with Number 104 and Number C104 since both are spellcasters rank 4 and 5 respectively since it's a quickplay you can summon Umbral Horror Masquerade in your opp turn, pop an spell/trap card and had a monster who negates, discards and halfs your opponents LP. The only issue would be summoning og 104 but i think it could be posible outside this deck
4:56 personally i really like this effect cus there aren't many cards with a scale 9 or above that don't have some some summoning restrictions build in so pendulum summoning a level 8 or above monsters are usually harder to do but this card can just turn into scale 13+ if it stays on the field long enough
If you’re going to make a 3 material rank 5 turn 1 just make number 67 pair-a-dice smasher, then you’re opponents under a VFD lock till the end of there turn
Chaos Ancient Gear Fusion? That card was Wild as fuck. I dunno if we could see it printed as it cheats out any AG fusion (it was used to summon Chaos AG giant)
These are good cards for them. Definitely help them out but idk how well they'll do. On a side note, it seems like we're not gonna get all the AG fusions that could come be printed...
That's partly why I consider this guy a card reviewer with a grain of salt. If you want better analysis, the best thing you can do is to try these cards out yourself in fanmade Yu-Gi-Oh simulators as you can just either have them as custom cards in Duelingbook or wait a bit for the other simulators to code them as beta cards. But, if you don't ever have the time to do so, go to alleged "pro" Yu-Gi-Oh players' videos. Joshua Schmidt has not only his main channel videos, but also what's called Joshua Schmidt Plus where he usually do card reviews whenever they are fully revealed. Takes a bit for him to post stuff about that since he records most of videos he post on YT through his Twitch streams, but he basically looks up the cards he forgets or doesn't know about and at times his Twitch chat suggests him to read into that'll help him for reviewing contexts.
If you're considering having Performages as a core with Cyber Dragon so that you'll be able to potentially play through interruption and/or disruption then try it out and see how it performs (with good deckbuilding skills ofc)
They're probably afraid if they'll ever do more of that for the archetype, the archetype will be able to FTK in some way. Then again they weren't afraid of Gimmick Puppet FTKing with their recent legacy support, so idk Konami's minds are not consistent when it comes to card designing and/or playtesting (if they ever even do so). That's a fact. Edit: Ntm this legacy support makes Ghostrick Angel of Mischief achieve its win condition mechanic effect a lot quicker.
