  • Hello everyone, welcome to SA Today. On 29 September 2024, we will start today's video with a building damaged due to strong winds in Mokgalaneng in South Africa today. Then, rain in Waterval Boven and in Cape Town. We walk around the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town to show you around. Walk down the pathway at the Addo Elephant National Park. Pioneer Dam was found at the Mopani Rest Camp in the Kruger National Park. Cloudy weather at Umhlanga and we fill up on fuel in Potchefstroom. BA59 from Heathrow, London, arriving at Cape Town International Airport, and we show the International arrivals area. Can not believe the aeroplane can land itself. Baboon troop crossing the road in the Kruger National Park. Bloubergstrand, then, we will go up the cableway to Table Mountain and show you more videos around South Africa.
The weather forecast across South Africa today is as follows:
Expect some light snow on Monday, particularly in the high-altitude regions of the Cape Provinces, the southern Drakensberg, Lesotho, and the southern interior of KwaZulu-Natal Province. Get ready for some challenging conditions out on the water! Coastal winds are expected to make navigation tricky between Cape Columbine and Cape Agulhas. Strong winds are anticipated to cause localised damage to communities and infrastructure, while also heightening the risk of uncontrolled fires across various regions. This includes the central and northern interior of the Eastern Cape, southeastern areas of the Northern Cape, parts of North West and Gauteng, as well as the eastern sections of the Free State and southwestern Mpumalanga. Be prepared for extremely high fire danger conditions in various regions! The north-eastern areas of the Western Cape, the northern interior of the Eastern Cape, and the extreme south-eastern parts of the Northern Cape are all on alert. Additionally, keep an eye on the northern parts of the Free State, certain locations in the North West and Gauteng, as well as the extreme southwestern parts of Mpumalanga and the western and southern areas of Limpopo. Stay safe and informed! Get ready for some seriously hot and sticky weather in the Lowveld of Limpopo and Mpumalanga, along with the Limpopo Valley today. It's going to be quite uncomfortable out there! Get ready, everyone! An intense cold front is on its way, set to impact the Western Cape and the southern regions of the Northern Cape starting Saturday night and lasting until Monday, September 28 to 30, 2024. By Monday, this chilly weather will also reach the interior of the Eastern Cape. Stay warm and watch the forecast! Attention to all farmers and the public! Get ready for some chilly weather ahead! This Sunday and Monday, expect cold to very cold temperatures and windy conditions, and there might even be some light snowfall in the higher regions. Plus, today, brace yourselves for strong to gale-force winds and high seas along the south coast of the Western Cape and the Eastern Cape Province.

Welcome to our channel, SA Today! We will try and upload a video for you every day or the third day from somewhere around South Africa (SA) where we travel. We live in the platteland but try and see as much as we can of South Africa. Join us on a journey as we explore the beauty of South Africa through daily video captures. From breathtaking landscapes to vibrant cities, we showcase the diversity and charm of our country.
Subscribe and come along for the adventure!
We want to show our viewers as many places as we can across the country worth visiting. South Africa is a large country, and only some locals know where all these places are, we therefore add a map that we created to show where the video was captured more or less. We also try and provide some history on many of the towns, museums and events on that day in South Africa. We take pride in bringing original and captivating videos that will leave you in awe.
Also in this video, scenes along the R539 on the way to Sabie, Blood Street in Pretoria, drive into Brits, and we visit the River stables in Sabie. We attend the Kalahari Kuier festival in Upington and we then end the video today in Saldanha in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. Join us again soon for another journey across South Africa!
