Two tips that have worked well for me: 1. I crumpled up a big piece of wax paper and rubbed it vigorously on my closet bars... Now the metal hanger hooks slide along the bar silently and smoothly. 2. I bought a set of round white plastic clothes bar separator circles like stores use to separate sizes. I have them between the various types of clothes to separate the sections visually. :-)
Thanks for these tips Susan! I've done the circle dividers for clients before but I've never heard of the wax paper trick. I love it! I definitely need to try it in my closet 😊
I like to group my printed clothes. Solid color tops hang together and printed tops hang separately. I find it easier to find things and I like how it looks visually.
Actually, i purposefully use different kind of hangers for different kind of items. I basically hang just lightweight tops and tshirts, so for example i divide the round neck from the v neck using this little trick, and it saves me so much frustation 😁
@@SusanWMosey I do this also! I have a package of one color of plastic hangers specifically for dresses. I use black hangers ( store bought or black plastic from a retail location) for black tops - white for white. Clear plastic retail hangers for my colored tops!

If that's what works for you Federica, then keep doing it! Thanks for sharing how you do it. 😊
Maybe different colors of the same brand of hanger?
@@SusanWMosey I've never tried that. Is that how you have your clothes Susan?
I do this too!!
