Sounds great with the full Milltek. I am slowly convincing myself to get a Mountune catback but unsure as it doesn't have a resonator unt the rear muffler.
I like the Milktek exhaust, It adds just the right amount of noise without it being stupidly loud. You know the ones that you can hear from few streets away when it's driving around.
I know exactly what your on about. I have one around my area. Yellow vxr. The noise just sounds like a giant fart everytime he drives past, it's rather funny hearing how bad he's made it sound. It's all about the tuned car sound :)
What’s the overrun noise like mate ? Can’t really find any information on what STG2 pro overrun actually sounds like , good video tho 👍🏻 cars coming along nicely
Yes that was the stage 2 pro overrun. It lets out alot of burbles, and the odd pop when really going for it. Sounds wicked in my opinion compared to decel. I'll try to get more videos of my stage 2 pro review coming up soon! Subscribe so you know when it's live!
yeah, don't get me wrong the stock with a sports cat sounds good! Just when you're driving the sound does vanish and gets overpowered by road noise / the ITG. The milltek non-res Race keeps that exhaust noise throughout stationary all the way to motorway runs and the best thing about it is its sound on demand! Thanks for popping in once again Steve!
I have the miltek non res non race version which is slightly quieter. But mine seems to be very " wobbly " with the power flex bushes on. Yours seems to be very still or does it move a bit
Hi mate, great video. Don’t suppose you’ve compared the milltek sports cat and cat back exhaust to a scorpion sports cat and cat back? Any ideas on the differences, is there much difference in volume or sound? Cheers!
I have indeed. Scorpion to me is slightly louder and deeper. You can hear the Scorpion inside the car more tha the mil. It isn't however stupid sounding like the cobra. I like the racey sound of my miltek but I barely hear it inside. Outside it sounds incredible however. You won't go wrong with either. Personally I would go scorpion if you want to hear it a bit in the car. Remember the cat is what makes probably the larger difference in sounds.
@@CarRambles Ta for the response! I love the sound of the milltek but to me inside the car (judging from videos) it sounds very much like a stock car volume wise. However the tone is much sweeter. I’ll probably go the scorpion route then, was just worried with a sports cat it would be far too chavvy and drone too much. After all if I go aftermarket and stage 2 I’d like to be able to hear the exhaust a bit inside the car, just without it being a fart can at the same time if that’s possible! Cheers
@@CarRambles can I just ask another question about the milltek, with a sports cat and the milltek cat back I must be right in saying it’s a fair bit louder than the stock system? I really worry about noise complaints and drone and I do get the feeling the scorpion may even be too much!
It's louder on startup for 30 seconds to a min but then calms down to a nice rumble. And it's louder when you wide open throttle. Otherwise it's pretty nice promise. You should be ok with a sports cat and a scorpion system though. It's not crazy but definitely a bit louder.... It's a hard one to say...
@@CarRambles hmm okay still weighing it up between the two! Maybe I’ll have to have a look to see if anyone local has got either fitted and see if I could have a listen. Tough decision! Thanks though mate really appreciate the responses.
No drone what so ever with this exhaust. Anything "higher" like a scorpion or cobra. Unless it's resonated will drone. If you find it's a little bit droney do a symposer removal and you'll remove the boom sound you get.
Definitely being weird aha. Na at the end of the day it's personal preference 🤷♂️ I've got for a milltek as it sounds pretty stock if you are driving normally and only makes a louder sound when you boot it... (Within reason). But as I said everyone has there opinion. Some love fart cannons. Other go as stock as possible. Others go custom :)

Cobra non res, single exit, not bad when cruising, but boy its boomy when you floor it haha

nice sound ! i want to take the Non race non res with decat milltek it doesnt change a lot no ?
Can I get this if I have a fiesta zetec not S or ST ? Or does it not work like that
Nicely done. I’m going this way.
Any issues with gas smells with your Miltek sport cath?
That is the cathed version correct?
Thanks
No smells as it still has the cat.
Mine has this rattling sound when I’m just cruising at 40 and not accelerating. Almost like it’s loose somehow. Any ideas?
i like the sound of the standard exhuast. iv not started mine since fitting the sport cat so was good to hear that.

Forgot to mention, i never got a pop or loud burbles from the stock exhaust, probably due to the res?
@@CarRambles i think the miltek will be my future choice too. good vid.

Pretty stable, as long as you don't have banging then your are fine :)
Is non race non res much quieter? Thinking about getting it but cant decide

Is it too loud on motorway ? And does it drone in the cabin on highway speeds?
