Beautiful display! Shame more people don't get into this hobby. So relaxing and enjoyable. Love seeing some of the older pieces and accessories. Well done. 👍👍
Fantastic display. It is great seeing all those older Dept. 56 buildings from the 1990's. I have been collecting Christmas in the City since 1995 with some Dicken's and North Pole and New England buildings. Regarding the accessory Ashley Pond Skating Party, I broke the bottom of the building so I could light up the shack. It did the trick. How many animated skating ponds have you bought over the years? I have gone through 6 of the them in 27 years. Fezziwig Ballroom died on me after 10 years but I have a friend who is great with fixing electrical items and managed to get it working again. I put cotton batting behind the buildings to hide the wires. I pride myself on hitting all the wires in my display. My boulevard lamps are slowing dying. Your Ramsford's Palace looks great. Here is my Christmas in the City display from 2012. I really have to post an updated version as I have purchased some buildings from the late 1980's - early 1990's on ebay. ruclips.net/video/-f31IfxrClc/видео.html
