I feel like the DS told them to do it for there video. Unfortunately some DS use there position to make funny videos so they can make some side case on the internet through ad revenue. Fortunately I didn’t deal with it when I did basic but it seems a lot more common now from what I’ve seen online and what the BNPs that arrive at my unit be telling me.

Once our drill sergeant literally just stood by the door but didn't actually enter the room so we had to just watch him for 15 minutes before he finally came in and even then he said as you were before we said anything so we still did a quick 20 pushups for yelling at ease pointlessly 😂😂
Our drill sgt snuck past the night guards low crawled under all the bunks to hear and see what the guys were chatting about in the bathroom lets just say they got smoked bad so did the guards

Most likely this is the end of their cycle. I went to BCT a while back but even then, the last couple days, a more human side of the drills came out. There were still disciplinary actions, and a level of professionalism was maintained but at the same time they humanized themselves and actually were interested in the trainees; IE where they were going and what they were doing, sharing military/life advice, etc. So honestly, I don't see the issue with goofing off for a minute or two after all of the training is said and done. For those who can't understand that must not have stepped foot into the actual military

This is just a bit of relaxation that drill sgt. Is giving to her troops, she is letting them tell her at ease now!!!. They have to be in good cadence, she is just having a moment of fun pride with her troops!! They tell her have a good evening, as they are getting so leave time now!!! I cant express how many people become respectful adults become grown ups! They learn respect and how to listen when they serve a couple years in service!!! The biggest problem today with the military is lawyers and government officals changing things to the way they want to see it...there is a great deal of pride on just this few minutes..these troops are highly respectful to their drill sgt!!!!!!😉

Military veterans tell me your story I’ll go first I was deployed to Iraq in 2004. A few months into our tour my friend gets two weeks leave, he was assigned as the gunner on my Lt's Humvee. A couple of hours before we go on mission the Lt asks me if I'd like to fill in for my friend and be his gunner. I have a bad habit of running my mouth and I didn't think spending alot of time with the Lt was a good idea so I declined saying, "I would sir, but I hear your driver is so bad that he voids my life insurance policy and my folks would really need the money." He laughed and walked away. That mission his vehicle wad hit by an IED and the blast killed the gunner, a SPC from HQC who volunteered for the mission.

The army has gotten super soft now days, like it’s literally allowing phones in the bay which mind you would NEVER happen in Ft. Benning because we had weapons/SI in the bay.. If it were up to me, I’d be in full support of banning tiktok for all servicemen and women regardless of branch because we are making fools of ourselves to the Russians, Chinese, Ect.

Would sneak in the middle of the night piss drunk waking everyone up messing with them or showing off deployment pictures and vids of the dead insurgents. 4 out of the 5 of my drills were multiple deployed and CIB earned men. The 1 was a Nasty Girl. They were warriors for sure.

you think? I’m 19 I work in a shop. when this shop opened they employed over 200 people and they had 3 shops opened under their name. Now there’s only one shop and it’s me and 6 other people working like dogs to keep the place alive. Ik this has nothing to do with the army but it just goes to show the generation we live i. lol.

my pawpaw aka edmund morton died from covid. i really miss him. his funeral was today they played this and shot 21 bullets. he served as a army soldier veteran for the korean war. i was a paulburrer. i want him to know most of all i miss watching judge judy, price is right, and eating a pot pie from KFC with him. he called me my middle name (John) he knew everything that is was happening he was 94/yo. i saw his last movements he was very weak. i’m proud to honor my pawpaw (aka edmund morton) may R.I.P in heaven as now he is in a much better place. i love u pawpaw, all of us miss u with all of our hearts.

@@michael9300 Yeah at San Diego, one of them lost his temper and threw him in one of the dryers as he was doing laundry I think and the other one was where the DI’s where getting to him so bad that he decided to toss himself off and had his head split. Since then we all have 3rd deck railing to the ceiling to prevent that.

Military veterans tell me your story I’ll go first
I was deployed to Iraq in 2004. A few months into our tour my friend gets two weeks leave, he was assigned as the gunner on my Lt's Humvee. A couple of hours before we go on mission the Lt asks me if I'd like to fill in for my friend and be his gunner. I have a bad habit of running my mouth and I didn't think spending alot of time with the Lt was a good idea so I declined saying, "I would sir, but I hear your driver is so bad that he voids my life insurance policy and my folks would really need the money." He laughed and walked away. That mission his vehicle wad hit by an IED and the blast killed the gunner, a SPC from HQC who volunteered for the mission.
Finally we have it. A platoon of well trained invisible soldiers.

We had something similar. Our sgt would walk right up for he company area, and bust a hard turn just before he stepped on. If he thought nobody saw him, he would go on quick and be like y’all busted! Front lean and rest position!!

The issue is having too much fun though dude.. That’s where the complacency factor kicks in, and takes a serious toll on others. The army has gotten super soft now days, like it’s literally allowing phones in the bay which mind you would NEVER happen in Ft. Benning because we had weapons/SI in the bay.. If it were up to me, I’d be in full support of banning tiktok for all servicemen and women regardless of branch because we are making fools of ourselves to the Russians, Chinese, Ect.
And also, you kind of have to be miserable, otherwise you don’t learn.. combat is an asskicker, and is a terrifying experience for those who’ve been down range.. if I showed anyone in my unit this video, it would also raise their blood pressure

@Brandon Seng same here man. Went through last class in BDUs. Every drill was messed up. Would sneak in the middle of the night piss drunk waking everyone up messing with them or showing off deployment pictures and vids of the dead insurgents. 4 out of the 5 of my drills were multiple deployed and CIB earned men. The 1 was a Nasty Girl. They were warriors for sure.
