It's an arcade1up cabinet that I modded to run Chihiro motherboard :). The steering wheel is a dreamcast wheel steering controller. That's the reason I had trouble to turn on difficult angle.
I used a custom made circuit board called JVS Helper that allows me to connect the wheel controller via DB25 connector to JVS IO board of Chihiro. I used DB25 breakout connector to map the controller wires to DB25. There is another solution that allows you to use raspberry pi as a JVS IO board called OpenJVS. It allows you to use any usb-based controller with Chihiro or other JVS-based arcade motherboards.
