Luka is interested only in hearing about who's newly single, Abby sits on her throne as queen of the ER, and Susan Lewis just wants to rub Carter's nose in whatever doo-doo she can dig up. Poor Gallant doesn't know what to think. This is "The Breakfast Club" come to TV. The writers had a ball writing this one!
As you see this scene you all can tell by the say Luka looks at Abby he still loves her and cares for her too. Love Luka and Abby better they make a better couple. Also it seems like Luka is like Abby's Guardian like watches out for her after what she has been through you can tell he always gotta look out for her.
I noticed that, he’s always looking at her when she’s not looking. Maggie even told her so. If Carter had stayed out of them the first time they would of thrived. Second Luby they thrived with carter gone and they were so happy and then came their son.
Mark had a crush on Susan years ago. Susan did not share those same feelings. Mark let it go and moved on and found someone who truly loved him, Elizabeth. You can connect really well as friends and confuse it with romantic feelings. That’s exactly what Carter and Abby did. Their Friendship connection was strong but they failed miserably as a couple. Mark and Susan were great friends, nothing more.
I loved Carter as a character but all of his relationships were chemistry-free disasters. Ironically the only character he had chemistry with was Lucy and Noah Wyle put an end to that potential relationship.
