I drove one of the pre-facelift ones back in 2018. Sure, it you ignore the "Eclipse" monicker and the fact it was a sportscar before its rebirth...it's a very nice little car. I felt it was quite peppy, good performance and fuel economy. Sadly, the price is absurdly high here in Brazil, and most customers end up going for the competition.
Personally, I own this SUV, and it's a pretty good deal. All-season tyres will give you 12.5km/l, and with winter tyres, 10km/l combined. It has good steering control and has never gotten stuck in the snow. :D. I prefer it over the Toyota CHR, Collorala Cross, Honda HRV, CRV, Mazda CX5, Hyundai Kona, Sportage, seltos and Ford Escape
What's the difference between eclipse cross & rvr engine? I mean turbo 1.5 & normal 2.0 engine. Which one have better pick up and which is more fuel efficient?
1992 is faster if a turbo model. This Eclipse Cross is quicker than the 1992 non-turbo Eclipse, and is WAY more refined. Headlights are better, much quieter & smoother ride, better visibility, more room, maps included, cellphone actually connects to the eclipse cross, better turning radius. The 92 turbo is fun to drive, but the Eclipse Cross is also a joy to drive
LED lights, camera Faster frame rate speed causes your camera to capture more details, thereby making the flickering of LED lights more obvious than it really is.
When you first turn it on it's programmed to idle high to heat up the catalytic converter. It has to do with emissions requirements. Otherwise its probably the AC condenser kicking on/off because the defrost is on
@@jonathans.5663 I can get that, but it's way to sporadic to be just the ac/defroster. I drove a Ford, and we all know the hahas about Ford, and my car idles just fine with the ac on and defroster.
Now that's devotion...car review in the rain!
For those who want to see traction on wet pavement is perfect. But Mr. Hardy is very light on the right pedal.
Just got a 23 sel with touring and I absolutely love it 😀
I have a 2022 SEL with touring, so yours is newer than mine. Am happy with my eclipse cross too.
💯 Great Car,I just bought the 2024 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross LE.
Does it really feel like it will turn over on it's side while taking curves? I mean the body roll or it feels safe?

I would have been interested in seeing the cargo space with the rear seats folded down.
Mitsubishi Ecipse Cross except a incredible design is very comfortable and reliable car.

What’s Insane about it ??

Estamos encantados con este coche! No gasta casi nada de gasolina 1/3 de Lexus hibrido!
Why does the dashboard look like it's stroking out?
Because of the led lights

Ah, thank you, you two. Makes sense now. I was like what the heck is going on....now I know.
Which trim is this?
SE trim + sunroof & skylight
Does this car have apple CarPlay ???
Yes
SEL model ?
Anemic multimedia display.
Ben about to have a flu after filming in the rain so many times 😂
turn off the eco mode then pass a vehicle
Next time check the weather
Why's the RPM gauge moving when it's in park idling? Does this vehicle have issues already?
😂 majority of cars do that 🤡
@@ELP1125 No, no they don't.

Looks like the ugly Lexus.
Nice.
The windows fog up from all your hot air............
Ban, pedal on the metal.
AMAZING how you 'bastardize" the ENGLISH language!
Styling looks like aiming from 2010. Outdated but I guess that’s the payoff for lower price and good warranty.
Who tf would buy this, this looks like a car from 2010.. like seriously go with a Buick envista for fuck sake 😭
