This was good right up to the point where you fed the rotting mixture to your fish. You should be leaving it in the bottle, the micro-worms you are trying to culture will climb up the sides of the bottle and that's where you should be harvesting from, just get either a cotton bud, a small paintbrush or best of all an old toothbrush and wipe it on the bottle above the bread mixture. You'll collect the worms but leave the nasty mess behind.

You can easily find it in super shop or grosari shop. Its very cheap.

U can grow microworms without yeast n potato... Just wet the white bread n keep it in a jar with little air open... Yeast makes to produce more worms... Once u have worms, u can use it as a starter for next time... All the best... I feed microworms n moina

Frist of all separate them from there parents. Otherwise they (parents) will eat them.
And then feed them microworm / dapnia, sperulina, boiled egg yolk.

How about tubifex worms?..I can even buy them...but keeping them alive for more than a few days means feed faster than I want. I Wish somebody would show how to keep fresh and alive until needed.

Tubifex is a good live food for fish. But it has some disadvantages., as you said its barely live .
If you want to culture tubifex you have to follow some rules.
1: its need fresh Water.
2: its need non stop air supply
3: water temperature 25-28°
4: shadow

I appreciate that Rosemary,but Tubifex worms are aquatic worms,red in color,and much much,smaller than land worms. Easy for fish as small as Tetra's to eat and loved by Angels and catfish especially (Loaches too!)..I can buy them...but its that keeping them alive to feed until the last worm is hard..they die about a week into the fridge.
