Hello Dior👋 Thank you for sharing this video with all of us around the world. I think as a father, ocean lover, and protector of our natural resources myself, I would like to give you a little pep talk and a pat on the back. So, three things I want to let you know. First and foremost, you did a fantastic job as always telling a story, and THAT young lady is a talent in itself! Second, excellent job showing your videography and drone skills. Third, as always, you did an amazing job at editing all of this together for us to watch. I have to be honest and say that I do not understand why you have less than 8,000 subscribers. Your content is so much better than other content creators on RUclips with hundreds of thousands of subscribers. I feel very lucky I found your content channel, and I suspect many others feel the same. So keep up the hard work because, as your family has probably told you many times already. Anything worth anything takes hard work and perseverance😊 Have a great day Dior.
I second that. I wish there was a lot more like this on youtube, instead of wading through lots of drivel to find something meaningful to watch. Dior and her family are doing important work to connect people with nature, so more of us can care enough to be better stewards of the world that provides so much beauty and, well, our very lives.
Thank you so so much for the kind words, I absolutely appreciate every lovely comment people leave and am grateful for everyone out there supporting my creativity! Much appreciated, cheers 😊
Hi Dior ~ YUM!! You are talented preparing all types of delicious food. Coconut cream? Yes, please. And the water, wildlife is always alluring for many who crave it. I found you when the Wynns discovered your family ~ living on your island and all the beauty - as well as all the hard effort getting it that way. Rest up and keep enjoying your life. I would love to charter with you all ~ give you a day off every other day and pitch in with the work. Just jumping off the boat into the blue water every morning would be a dream, along with swimming with whales. Thank you for sharing; and I love your dad's dry sense of humor.
Dior, thanks for a great "escape" video for me: The Whales were mesmerizing. The scenery was beautiful. The food look delicious! Solid/Quality people/family, and LOVE the Aussie accents. Great work:-)
Thanks so much for sharing with us and for the sacrifices your family make in opening up your home and sharing your experience with others on your charters. To share your experiences is to champion the protection of our amazing planet for future generations. My heart broke watching earlier video’s about the aftermath of the volcano eruption. Love your authenticity and always enjoy watching your video’s.
Impressive whale footage. Your seawater is so clear. We have humpbacks in Canada's Atlantic provinces too and whale watching tours are big business here as well.
This is so beautiful Dior, we see the rewards, we also see the sheer hard yakka involved to just survive in life, especially after your loss of your island home, keep forging forward, and put up your prices. I have no idea on your costs, but look at the quality of the food, location, that beautiful catamaran, and the guests have all this to themselves. SPECTACULAR! Your parents are remarkable people. ❤
This was an Amazing video Dior! I appreciate your families hard work and how much you care about the ocean and the beautiful Creatures in it. 🤗🫶🌊🐬🐋🐳🪸🥥🍣
That was bluddi fantastic! I loved the insight in to your lives, loved the whales - and dolphins, of course. The food looked great for your guests - it looked like hard work, but fun. I'm nearly certain that your whales are Humpback whales - is that right? Groovy gear your guests wore ...
Good to hear from ya Luv. Your family is pretty rock solid. Great examples of “The Great Aussie Battler”. Hope you guys can connect with Parlay who are currently in Tahiti, to give you some fun & a bit of socialisation. What an amazing whale experience your guests are having. I’ve had one similar to that in Hervey Bay Qld & I will never EVER forget that day. Hope you have a smooth whale season.
Boat looks really good since the refit, food also looks amazingly good for a small sailboat, and the whales are fascinating and intelligent animals. Small family businesses struggle and when things go right it is very busy and time, years, flies by. Thanks for the views. I keep thinking about the something like 270,000 whales harvested for oil in the 1800s.
I bet it's a grind at times and I get that. I don't get vacay takin' care of family member/s which is 24/7. For years. Work is work, and your work is extremely important. And hey girl you got fresh fish n coconut and all - what a good cook you are too! And you get to go swimmin! I don't 😔 Question: Are momma whales as protective of their young as other mammals like say, grizzly bears? Or are whales fairly mellow? Thanks, Dior, Tris and Skipper Dave for another GREAT video! And for all the wonderful work you do 🙏
This video was stunning! WOW! I've never seen so many whales together, what an amazing sight! You should publish a cook book, your food always looks delicious, I would definitely buy a book.
Dior, is there still a lot of damage from the Tsunami? We do see a lot of pristine waters, what I love, but if you could let us know how the recovery is going, thank you
Hey Dior - I work at The Weather Channel in the States and we are doing a documentary about the Tonga explosion. We would love to interview you for this. Let me know if this is something you’d be amenable to do. I also sent a message via Instagram with contact info and details.

Hi, halfway during the movie, i paused it and went to buy sushi, came back and watched the rest eating raw fish.
I love that! Awesome 😊

Oh yeah, that whale fin bumped the camera
4 months of hard work 24/7 and little to no me-time, I'm sure of it, and what about the other 8? Are there no whales or is the weather too bad?
Lotds of whales. She gets the full fishy award.
Dude, next time please do “high five” with one of these amazing creatures…!
On a second thought, you are not supposed to touch them.
