You’re not tripping with the Dandelion blush. It takes FOREVER to show up. They’ve discontinued a lot of good blush shades but for some reason they keep that around. I was a manager at Ulta, once upon a time, and they tried gaslighting us all the time that it was just a perfect natural flush hahahaha

the Ordinary serum is definitely not a primer, much more meant to be used during your skincare routine. I've been using it for about a month everyday and it's helped me with the never-ending irritation on my skin. Danessa had an amazing 40% off sale if you spent $200, so you could basically get the Lightwork V + Groundwork and a Yummy skin blush for the price of the Lighwork palette 🤩

Did the serum help with your skin barrier issues? My skin is adjusting to a new climate and its a delicate line between too rich and not enough.
@@callmecharlie99 It does have ingredients that in the long term help with barrier support, but I'd recommend Lipid Gold by Stratia for a barrier support serum/light weight moisturizer
I was about to comment the exact same thing. 😊 it's a nice product for super dry or irritated skin. I enjoy it.
I picked both palettes during the sale as well and I'm so thrilled with them both. Groundwork is the best eyebrow palette ever and the perfect nude lip liner shade is in there for me as well. Well worth it.

Aren’t most of these brands actually cruelty free but some of them sell to China who then tests the products on animals? That’s what I heard about MAC 15 years ago anyway & I thought it was pretty ridiculous so I continued buying from them… but just now I’m wondering does the government actually make the companies themselves do the testing? Cuz I had thought China was testing on animals after the sale, but that wouldn’t really make sense would it 😕
@@MissEddieBlueKawaiiKrafts Any brand that sells to China is not cruelty free. They may not be harming the animals first hand, but they are allowing China to. In my opinion, that is unacceptable and makes them a company that accepts cruelty to animals. Logical Harmony is a great source if you ever need help navigating the cruelty free space ✨

If you want a more subtle way, maybe try them as an eyeliner?

Try the Glossier Foundation with a different primer. I like it with a glowy primer. Also, try applying it with a damp sponge. I never liked the finish with a brush, but it's so much better for me with a damp sponge. I do feel like the concealer formula has changed. It's not as hydrating, and a bit sheerer in my opinion. I also used to get shade G 11, and there's not an exact shade match to G 11 anymore. (why?!!)

I love the DM Groundworks palette. I use the cream as contour, eyebrow pomade, and the base for eyeshadow. They are so soft and look great on the face. I use the powders for the same, but they are so much more pigmented. I hope she eventually sells singles of the shades because I can see panning several of them before the others. I got the Lightworks on Black Friday and I hope I get use out of it and it’s not too much for me. I got sucked in by the sale!

It's crazy how foundations work so so differently for everyone, I love this foundation! I use 1 pump for the whole face with a sponge, and i have normal to dry skin. It’s not patchy on me and super forgiving great on texture, currently my favorite. Not drying on me.
Is the shade range OK?
@callmecharlie99 I'm not sure about the deep end but the fair end is really good I think. I use the lightest one it's very neutral, which is perfect for me. I think most of the shades are neutral. It's as light as 205 in mufe and 8 in tarte.

Teresa boo boo, when u took that dropper from that ordinary bottle and put it on your skin, I died a little inside. Oh the contamination! Doesn’t matter how clean your face is, u have now introduced bacteria into the whole bottle. I guess that’s the price of the money shot😂. Loved the video as always!

I bought both the light work and groundworks, during black friday. I did not need them, but black friday its the time i buy a bunch of makeup i do not need but want. I usually like the DM products, so I have high hopes. Haven't tried them because they are in my pile with the other palettes I got, but will pack groundwork for my vacation so that I can play and see what i can do with just that palette .
Apparently they can be used all over the face. I'd be curious to hear if you can use some for contour, highlight, etc.!
@@linseylinsey one of the shades looks like it would be a good bronzer and i thinking maybe to spot conceal. It does feel nice in the face (the pomade formula), but we will see once I actually use it. I think it will be good for a natural look formula wise.
The DM palette is for brows & face too hence the creams!

My go-to concealer is this Glossier stretch concealer but I have been experimenting with more hydrating concealers off & on this fall. I will probably go back permanently. I recently decided to start using foundation rather than the Glossier tinted moisturizer. As I'm getting older, and OLDER, I've been wanting more coverage. I used to love the natural look, but now I'm more into the made-up look on the daily. We'll see if I stick with it past the winter (I used to think it was too much work but I've noticed the more compliments I get, and as you might know, compliments are addicting. 😅

I bought the Danessa Myricks Groundwork and Lightworks palettes from Beautylish and love her. I did collect the dollars/store credits for both. I had no issues and I love both. I purchased from several websites and except for ND, shipping is slow. Hourglass was 2.5 weeks. I live in Canada so I expect slower shipping, especially during the November sales. Beautylish beats everyone. They are two days max. Sephora Canada is one week minimum.

"The money shot" was giving me mad flashbacks to all those Farsali videos that folks used to post a few years back. 🤣 I also do not like spicy butthole lipbalm/gloss, I got one in a lucky bag recently without realising it and I think it had menthol in it because I had like, iced butthole lipbalm vibes. Very fucking weird. Also, you probably know this anyway, but "Ramune" is pronounced "Ram-oo-nay" and goddamn do I fucking love that stuff. Unf. I'm also with you on BAGCEPTION. I have a tote, which has a waterproof bag inside, which contains another bag for my d&d dice and in THAT bag are four dice sets which are inside individual bags 😆

Id love to see a brushes worth the $$ video from ya. I got the wayne goss eye brush set yrs ago and they were worth every penny. His new face set just launched and wondering if it is as good as it was. Natural hair brushes seem to work better for me too so id really trust your opinion. Wayne vs Sonia G maybe?

I would be surprised if you liked either Huda powders. I love them, but I like a natural/satin finish over a glowy one. But I do know that the loose powder has been a fav for a while. I will be curious on your thoughts.

This is why I use cream and light dust of powder foundation. I have yet to try a foundation my combo Native American butt that wor for me. 😂 Also I got the Danessa Myricks holographic purple, eyeliner. It is beautiful as an inner corner shadow. 😊❤

thank you for the real feedback on that sigma foundation brush, I have been curious but for sure wasn't going to buy it bc I have basically stopped using all my sigma face brushes, I prefer some of their eye brushes if anything; now I can stop wondering about that damn brush lol
I hesitated on that TF highlighter as long as I could but got it today in Rose Irise and you are soooooo right - it is EVERYTHING. But the rest was painful with the exception of the DM palette. I was feeling your pain. 😢
I just can’t drop over a hundred dollars on Danessa’s eyeshadow palettes as they’re all made in the PrC. If I had a nickel for the number of times I’ve put a palette into my cart and then forced to remove it. I have all these from Terra Moon or Clionadh so just can’t pull the trigger. I do indulge in her chrome pots but those are just $25 each….

So I love danessa but I feel there's been a quality issue as of lately, seeing your multichrome palette falling apart and then myself having to return 2 of those groundwork palettes because there were fibers in some of the shades! 👀👀
Highly recommend the Domnique Cosmetics Transitions palette as all all matte palette. It is meant to be able to be used all over the face asnd not just for eyeshadow.

The only Glossier products I like & repurchase are Boy Brow & their tinted lipbalm. I always felt their complexion products were for people who either don't wear foundation or apply their complexion products with their hands (no brush or sponge) I love their aesthetic but I can achieve a similar look with other brands😊

I just got an Anne palette from Melt-Dark Matter. I know I know, but maybe give it a go? I just got a bunch of their products on sale and I’ve really enjoyed them all!
The Huda loose powder is so much better than the pressed one.
Denessa is a no buy for me, there are MUCH more reasonably priced palettes out there with just as good, OR BETTER quality with beautiful exterior QUALITY that won't need to be glued back into place. Just saying.....

I am ghostface pale, and I hate the dandelion blush. It does nothing. Nothing! If I can't wear it, I really wonder who can.
I tried that foundation and found it super full coverage and that it just didn't work and go on streaky no matter what. Even with my fav primers and foudnation brushes it just didn't blend out well or look good!
I have that same freaking blush from Benefit and I HATE IT! 😂 It doesn’t show up at all!
I've heard very bad reviews about the pressed powder by huda beauty like every review I have seen no one likes it at all
I do like the huda loose powder better than the pressed one. I think I'm going to get tom Ford and danessa myricks for sure during the sale but probably more I really like the givenchy loose powder better than the huda. I got a sample of the Glossier foundation and I hated it SO much.

It isn't a primer , it is part of skincare . You put it on after you way your face and before
You do any other serums, creams
, moisturizers. The instructions literslly tell you this
I have oily skin, and I just bought the stretch concealer for the first time, and I hate it. It settles so badly into my fine lines, and it looks cakey when I powder, but it gives almost no coverage. I think maybe it would be better suited for subtle spot concealing on a no makeup day without powder.
Yup, that concealer doesn't work well on oily skin. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend the Nars pot concealer. It's a classic for a reason. I have combo skin, but it gets oily easily so I can use both. I am only able to use the glossier bc I moved to a drier / less humid climate.
If that's the case, it kind of leaves you wondering who it's for.
The glossier concealer is for people who like sheer coverage (think no makeup makeup) and best used by those with mature skin and or dry under eyes. You can easily tap out any lines and it's very malleable. I couldn't use it when I lived by the ocean though. Too humid and it messed with the product texture. I like it because I prefer sheer coverage and can fix it easily if anything happens. It also fades nicely which is a quality I like in my makeup.

@@sarahjones6323 The Nars pot concealer is 🤌. That concealer taught me to love pot / cream concealers and now I prefer them. I've been eyeing the Salt NY foundation / concealer.
They did definitely change the stretch concealer color range but also slightly the formula. I will say both have worked for me but the old one I used in Seattle and the new one I'm using in New Orleans. So that might have something to do with it, although I'm a lizard regardless so who knows haha.
I don't think the blush is working, it's just that you're stabbing your cheeks with the brush and it's bringing out your natural flush lol
