Back in the day I took my Dante miniature to a jeweler, and had him electro plated in 24k gold. It was beautiful, but alas I lost him 😥 perhaps to the warp.
My first army was chosen for the same understanding as my own direct sympathy to the Black rage. I felt as that pilot did. If they ever do a live Armageddon war, they better pick you for Yarric. You have the voice I hear as I read it.

Well, I'm not really into the blood Angels but I do admit that they are incredibly honorable and at the same time tormented due to the black rage. Plus, everyone loves sanguinis. Who doesn't love him. I also didn't know about the death company and it seems like something I would do if I was in charge of the blood angels

Decided to listen to this when I was doing my workout today. Was doing some boxing on a heavy bag when you started giving your Lemartes Speech. I swear I might have lost MYSELF to the Rage that moment. I was apparently hitting the bag so hard, that somebody had to come and check on me! I feel for the sons of the IXth legion. Cursed by the death of their father, something the other orphan legions do not have. A part of me, like most sons of the IXth, wishes for a cure to the red thirst and the black rage yet Gabriel Seth said it best. "Without the flaw, we would be red Ultramarines." and his words holds truth. On the other hand, the sons of the Angel, in a symbolic sense, already have the cure to the flaw. Commander Dante for this one Astartes had managed to stave off the flaw for 1500 years of constant warfare and with no shortage of temptation and opportunities within said length of time.

In The Devastation of Baal you see Dante almost fall to the black rage. Honestly Lemartes and Mephiston should be studied more deeply. Lemartes has stayed cogent and Mephiston has actually overcame it and became a terrifying monster in the bargain.
@@UmbraNupe I'll have to check that out, I'm just remembering Mephiston's old statline where he was basically a monsterous creature on a small base. To be fair he still is and my mathhammer has him favored over a thousand sons demon prince if he gets the charge and both are uninjured. I probably need to go over the code again, there are a lot of variables it's tracking.

@@baldermort you could go many many paths, fiverr is good and quick for most anything and uses paypal, Audible might have applications for narrators, you could also ask at your local library if they have an online program, or hell even stick with youtube and make a "baldermort reads" channel!

I do love the Blood Angels, as I also believe there current existence shows the state of the Imperium and its degradation as a son of Dorn myself they are probably my third favorite Chapter/Legion, right behind the Dark Angels (memes aside) I also love the fact that Dante has been made into the lord regent of the northern half of the galaxy.
The more I learn about the Blood Angels, the more that I love them. They & the Black Templars are the only chapters that I relate to & feel kinship with on a real subliminal level. Excellent video, Baldermort. To me, these days, it seems that "welcome, gentle listener" is the opening appetizer that excites the audience for action in much the same way that Michael Buffers "LETS GET READY TO RUUUMBLE!!" does for the thousands in attendance and millions watching around the world does for a big Boxing match.

Thanks, I always wanted to write a story where the villain is the protagonist and you get to understand where his cruelty is coming from. I started getting into this grimdark book called Prince of Thorns, and I found myself not liking it so far. The main character in that book is not likable, because he came off as an unforgiving psychopath. He reminded me too much of Joffrey. So I felt that I should write a story about a villain that you can sympathize with and understand where he's coming from. He's still an evil bastard, but you get to understand his mind better. Kain, Doctor Doom, and Skeletor inspired me to write this character.

By classification though , he is an amazing voice actor and I'm the first one to say he should try to get gigs for audiobooks for black library . I LOVED the blood angel officer speech. I could just hear the passion in your voice. At the end, I almost shouted aloud, "FOR THE EMPEROR!" however.... a Supermarket isn't the place to do such things.
@@baldermort I love to, however the process of stripping my tanks and some other models ate up the whole day, and I am not sure if my tanks are fully striped there are some red blotches from the primer. I am going to take them to my local GW store for advice. But when they are finished I will be more than happy to post them on your FB group.

Well, I'm not really into the blood Angels but I do admit that they are incredibly honorable and at the same time tormented due to the black rage. Plus, everyone loves sanguinis. Who doesn't love him. I also didn't know about the death company and it seems like something I would do if I was in charge of the blood angels

Decided to listen to this when I was doing my workout today. Was doing some boxing on a heavy bag when you started giving your Lemartes Speech. I swear I might have lost MYSELF to the Rage that moment. I was apparently hitting the bag so hard, that somebody had to come and check on me! Just goes to show that you can channel a Marine's fury and voice like NO other!
This will most be my first and likely only YubTub comment but I have to say, stumbling on your videos has been an absolute delight and I’d like to thank you for your efforts! While there are many informative, entertaining video makers in this lovely fandom you’ve almost instantly become amongst my favorites. Your stories and voice acting work truly bring this setting to life in my mind.

I feel for the sons of the IXth legion. Cursed by the death of their father, something the other orphan legions do not have. A part of me, like most sons of the IXth, wishes for a cure to the red thirst and the black rage yet Gabriel Seth said it best. "Without the flaw, we would be red Ultramarines." and his words holds truth.
On the other hand, the sons of the Angel, in a symbolic sense, already have the cure to the flaw. Commander Dante for this one Astartes had managed to stave off the flaw for 1500 years of constant warfare and with no shortage of temptation and opportunities within said length of time.

In The Devastation of Baal you see Dante almost fall to the black rage.
Honestly Lemartes and Mephiston should be studied more deeply. Lemartes has stayed cogent and Mephiston has actually overcame it and became a terrifying monster in the bargain.
Darkness in Blood has Mephiston as something else, without spoiling.
@@UmbraNupe I'll have to check that out, I'm just remembering Mephiston's old statline where he was basically a monsterous creature on a small base. To be fair he still is and my mathhammer has him favored over a thousand sons demon prince if he gets the charge and both are uninjured. I probably need to go over the code again, there are a lot of variables it's tracking.

@@baldermort you could go many many paths, fiverr is good and quick for most anything and uses paypal, Audible might have applications for narrators, you could also ask at your local library if they have an online program, or hell even stick with youtube and make a "baldermort reads" channel!

I do love the Blood Angels, as I also believe there current existence shows the state of the Imperium and its degradation as a son of Dorn myself they are probably my third favorite Chapter/Legion, right behind the Dark Angels (memes aside) I also love the fact that Dante has been made into the lord regent of the northern half of the galaxy.

The more I learn about the Blood Angels, the more that I love them. They & the Black Templars are the only chapters that I relate to & feel kinship with on a real subliminal level. Excellent video, Baldermort.
To me, these days, it seems that "welcome, gentle listener" is the opening appetizer that excites the audience for action in much the same way that Michael Buffers "LETS GET READY TO RUUUMBLE!!" does for the thousands in attendance and millions watching around the world does for a big Boxing match.

Thanks, I always wanted to write a story where the villain is the protagonist and you get to understand where his cruelty is coming from. I started getting into this grimdark book called Prince of Thorns, and I found myself not liking it so far. The main character in that book is not likable, because he came off as an unforgiving psychopath. He reminded me too much of Joffrey. So I felt that I should write a story about a villain that you can sympathize with and understand where he's coming from. He's still an evil bastard, but you get to understand his mind better. Kain, Doctor Doom, and Skeletor inspired me to write this character.

@@baldermort I love to, however the process of stripping my tanks and some other models ate up the whole day, and I am not sure if my tanks are fully striped there are some red blotches from the primer.
