Thanks again for the 2 critical fixes to the titan hi low pulley system - really love my machine now I am really interested in seeing your leg anchor solution. I have 3 solution alternatives. The first (and most awesome) solution for me... I attach my sit up attachment (also used for decline to anchor my legs) to my Ironmaster Superbench (so any bench with a similar attachment should probably work), set it in front of my hi low pulley system, set some 45s behind me on the bench to make the bench heavier, and I can lat pull 220 without being lifted off the ground (120 was about the max with no support, which is lame) . This feels as solid as seated cable at the gym! I have also used barbells over my outstretched legs sitting on the floor but too much set up for my lazy ass.. The third solution (idea actually) is Ironmaster sells a seat for their hi low pulley system but is doesn't have over the knee anchors but you could use something like that, mount it to the holes in the titan pulley system, and strap yourself to it (like the old school hammer decline machines). I.m sure other equipment manufacturers have similar stuff.
Just ordered the V3 tall version, others recommended it over the short, the top hole being just 68 inches on the short convinced me to wait the extra 2 weeks for the backorder and spend the extra 20 dollars. This video made it obvious I made a good choice and I will have the WD40 ready for those pulleys, great tip there. I currently have a machine that uses similar pulleys but only for a high and low pulleys, I think they need lubricated as well.
Same thing happened with my cables when I did lat pull down with 200lbs. Sent in my warranty claim yesterday. I may upgrade the cables if it keeps happening. Thanks for the videos they helped me to decide on the purchase.
Titan is sending me replacement cables. I may replace them with same size cable but with a stronger coating I found at Menards. Would just have to measure it and add eyelets.
I think i figured out why its shredding the cables... its because then you slide it up to the very last hole on the top the rollers are so close together that when you use both cables combined and attach to an attachment, both cables pull inward and hit the inside edge of both rollers, cutting into the rubber shielding.

Appreciate the tips and definitely the exercises. I raise and lower the bungee as needed or to add a little resistance. C
Mine arrived got the v3. Overall seems the new version is smoother than v2. I agree the only mod that needs to be done is the lubbing the pulleys. Some were ok without lubing some barely spun at all, didnt lube it up at all and still reasonably smooth. Ican only imagine doing would help out. Sofar havent gone heavier than 120lbs but the cable still good not touching anything and fraying like mentioned in another comment.
Would installing two of these, spaced apart optimally, work as a cheap solution to do cable crossovers with both arms simultaneously? Can the cable be pulled at a large angle from the center plane?
How even does the weight feel on each handle from the double pulley? Is it very "spongy"? Is there a way to adjust cable tension or is the system pretty tight as is? Thank you for taking the time to publish all this helpful information
Good for the price and variety of exercises that can be done but does sound pretty rough in action, the brief amount I heard. I thought after lubricating the pulleys it was going to be smooth and I'm thinking that restriction/friction is coming more from the weight plate guide.
Another video I watched actually says that your hunch is correct. Someone said if you pop the black caps off the weight slide (the tubes that slide up and down) and Dremel it out just a small amount it will have less drag on the chrome rods
