I have loved Rap since I was a kid in the 80's & 90s. I have grown to love bluegrass as an adult. I never would of thought that these 2 genres would sound so amazing together.

Gangstagrass brings two worlds together I love. Grew up city, but my pops bumped country/bluegrass. And these guys make it work! 4x4'ing with my Wu Tang shirt!
Hell yeah. I used to off road in my jeep bumpin wutang, biggie smalls and 2 pac with Bill Monroe and Blue moon rising mixed in.
My two favorite forms of music. Hiphop and bluegrass. It sounds really good when you mix the two.
The combo I never knew I needed and now can't live without.

How about the respect for both cultures, seeing a hardened rapper, dance to a banjo, and a good ole boy rocking a banjo to some lyrical bars. This my friends, is UNITY. Not even as a fan, I LOVE you guys for what you're doing during these hard times. It's not easy to bring people together today. You did.

Just discovered Gangstergrass after watching a preview of AGT & absolutely loved their performance. After checking out even more music by them, I’ve realized just how much I enjoy the mixture of these two genres. I’m definitely gonna add them onto my playlist. It’s so awesome when diversity & open mindedness come together & creates something so magical. I already listen to a wide variety of music, not just from different genres, but in different languages as well, so I get super excited whenever I hear something new that sounds so wonderfully different to my ears.

It takes real talent to emerge bluegrass and rap! It's pretty awesome!
Bluegrass was a blend of Irish music and swampy Delta Blues, the latter sped up, with some Gospel thrown in. Rap is a little more R&B (Rhythm and Blues) with chanting instead of singing, but (the kind I like) still using a sung chorus, often sampled from other works in the early days. So, basically, they've been begging to be mashed up. :P
Walter Ingle Well that's pretty cool that it's working. I'm a diehard Blues guy like the Delta blues. "Muddy Waters invented electricity" nothing beats a good slide guitar. Maybe y'all could try that a Blues Rap!

They have revitalized my love of music! I first heard their sound from the theme of "Justified", and I am very glad I searched them out. Modern music..you get sick of any given song after the third time...but THIS, THIS has SO MUCH IN IT that it will endure, and be played by me..and I will post a positive comment, too..
