Well done. That's one of the problems. People don't want to read their Bible. They just want to go once a week to church and listen to a man talk for an hour or two. And that's it. We have to pray every day. Pray for the holy spirit before reading the Bible to give us understanding. Have a personal relationship with God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.... Just by mentioning a bible verse and then speaking completely out of context and unrelated things about it doesn't make it biblically valid! My heart breaks for people like him. I have heard T.D Jake's teach. Years ago, his teachings were inspired by the HOLY SPIRIT. Not long ago, I began to feel unsettled in my SPIRIT hearing him. There was less giving GOD glory and more look what I did. I also saw that he was using his bible less, began quoting celebrities, and the teachings themselves were not quite to scripture. I no longer listen to him because every other sermon was about money. Unfortunately, that is how many preachers lean when they are following the world. How sad to lose the truth of the HOLY SPIRIT and the gospel for money and popularity.
If I try to tell my mother about this, she tells me to stop sharing these kind of things with her. She won't hear it!!! I pray for her and my unsaved young adult children. When I try to explain TRUTH to them, their ears cannot hear. And until 4 years ago, my ears couldn't hear either. If I'm wanting it implies I'm dissatisfied with my lot in life, it's an inner condition of feeling I dont have enough. Lack implies I have less than is my due in life. So if there's some things material, financial I may "lack", I maybe in a very good place, as it keeps me free from the love of mammon(money,& what it can secure), and dependent on God for my fulfillment in life. A thought came to my mind, How many people actually finished reading the bible before reading his book? if I were a pastor I would not even sell a book id encourage the members to finish the bible. there's no need for his books when all the info is in the bible. a biography book is understandable but everything else is not.
There are good books that help you cover your Bible, but any book that doesn't increase your love and desire to love and know and yearn for the understanding of what the Holy Spirit says in the Bible. Run from such books.

I remeber being younger I attended my first "Man Power" conference. I felt so rejuvenated, I I studied in earnest fell in love all over again with the Word. My second "Man Power" conference I felt nothing, empty drained. I often think of the drug addict who chases the feeling of that first high that eludes them. I found that in my many visits to the local churches. I even have dreams of church services which have powerful words then slip in a lie to worship the man preaching. That feeling, that thing that makes you dance and shout is just what it is. A feeling, a high, a buzz no different that a smoke or a drink or injection. Nothing but the truth can fill that empty hungering place with in us.

A true Christian can be on any magazine, public platform, or any other popular place or position so long as all the glory, honor, and praise is given to Jesus. There have been popular true Christians and not so popular true Christians throughout the history of this world. All we need to keep in mind is that a true Christian can be wealthy and/or popular and remain a true Christian so long as he/she remains within the will of God and continually fulfills the obligations God has placed on wealthy people. It is not the popularity or money that is evil or ungodly. It is who/what the person serves and believes in that determines if he/she is a true Christian.

But God did promise us that we would be blessed and prosper. There's nothing wrong with being wealthy- most of God's men in the Bible were. No one wanna hear the Real Gospel. I go too a Small Church, my Pastor is a Country Pastor from Louisiana and knows the WORD and lives by it as best as he can. He delivers the Word every Sunday straight from the Book. I listen too him and watch him intensely, making sure he is PREACHING the Truth. I love our Small congregation, because WE'RE all close and we don't have the distraction in the Church. My Pastor does not PREACH anything about Prosperity, we pass the collection plate once and he says God will provide the rest an God does it. If my Pastor goes off script from what I've learned about him, I will check him respectful because I'm the Deacon in the making. I live in Dallas Texas and I used too listen too TD Jake's years ago but for some reason I stop, there's a lot of Mega Churches in Dallas White and Black but I'm going too stay in my small lil Church Community so I can see through the Deception Smoke Clouds Clearer. The head coverings for women were for a place and time back then that dealt more with the "customs and traditions" of men, and where "a woman's place was" in the church at the time. I've always been leery of T.D. Jakes. I often wondered does he want to be a movie producer or pastor. More troubling is that movies are being made, but not with the goal of reaching souls for Christ. If you have an access to so many people, I would think salvation would and should be the primary goal. Many of these televanglist are about selling books and CDs.

I was buggin out listening to a TD Jakes sermon this morning. My spirit hasn’t been sitting right with his teachings lately but I didn’t wanna judge the man. Millions of people love him and co-sign him so I figured he must be doing something right. In this video he was literally preaching the duality theory, that there are no all good or all bad people. That all people have some good and some bad. My mouth was on the floor. I’ll have to go back and record it.

Sad part is that there are times where God uses him and he has some really strong Lord lead messages but his actions and lifestyle is what shows the lukewarm state that he is in. I truly do pray for him, he has the skill to preach like nobody's business but does he have a heart for the Lord truly? That has always been my concern for him. When he gets in the world his message becomes watered down and he doesn't stand on God's word which always bothered me. He'll sit with Oprah and agree with her worldly nonsense.

In the beginning, I had NO IDEA what it really meant to become a true Christian. For me anyways, it is a daily struggle. I am so accustomed to this world and its evil ways. T. D. was nothing like this 20 years ago. Money really changes people. I started following him in a very dark time in my life. He really helped me alot. After his book women Thou art loosed, the enemy had it out for him. He started getting movie offers and that took him off course. I feel really bad seeing him getting decieved like this by the devil. I have heard T.D Jake's teach. Years ago, his teachings were inspired by the HOLY SPIRIT. Not long ago, I began to feel unsettled in my SPIRIT hearing him. There was less giving GOD glory and more look what I did. I also saw that he was using his bible less, began quoting celebrities, and the teachings themselves were not quite to scripture. I no longer listen to him because every other sermon was about money. Unfortunately, that is how many preachers lean when they are following the world. How sad to lose the truth of the HOLY SPIRIT and the gospel for money and popularity.
If I try to tell my mother about this, she tells me to stop sharing these kind of things with her. She won't hear it!!! I pray for her and my unsaved young adult children. When I try to explain TRUTH to them, their ears cannot hear. And until 4 years ago, my ears couldn't hear either. I pray that The Lord will save them like HE did for me and not let death meet them in their sins. In Jesus Holy Name I PRAY 🙏 AMEN

A thought came to my mind, How many people actually finished reading the bible before reading his book? if I were a pastor I would not even sell a book id encourage the members to finish the bible. there's no need for his books when all the info is in the bible. a biography book is understandable but everything else is not.

I remeber being younger I attended my first "Man Power" conference. I felt so rejuvenated, I I studied in earnest fell in love all over again with the Word. My second "Man Power" conference I felt nothing, empty drained. I often think of the drug addict who chases the feeling of that first high that eludes them. I found that in my many visits to the local churches. I even have dreams of church services which have powerful words then slip in a lie to worship the man preaching. That feeling, that thing that makes you dance and shout is just what it is. A feeling, a high, a buzz no different that a smoke or a drink or injection. Nothing but the truth can fill that empty hungering place with in us.

He delivers the Word every Sunday straight from the Book. I listen too him and watch him intensely, making sure he is PREACHING the Truth. I love our Small congregation, because WE'RE all close and we don't have the distraction in the Church. My Pastor does not PREACH anything about Prosperity, we pass the collection plate once and he says God will provide the rest an God does it. If my Pastor goes off script from what I've learned about him, I will check him respectful because I'm the Deacon in the making. I live in Dallas Texas and I used too listen too TD Jake's years ago but for some reason I stop, there's a lot of Mega Churches in Dallas White and Black but I'm going too stay in my small lil Church Community so I can see through the Deception Smoke Clouds Clearer. I've always been leery of T.D. Jakes. I often wondered does he want to be a movie producer or pastor. More troubling is that movies are being made, but not with the goal of reaching souls for Christ. If you have an access to so many people, I would think salvation would and should be the primary goal. Many of these televanglist are about selling books and CDs.

I was buggin out listening to a TD Jakes sermon this morning. My spirit hasn’t been sitting right with his teachings lately but I didn’t wanna judge the man. Millions of people love him and co-sign him so I figured he must be doing something right. In this video he was literally preaching the duality theory, that there are no all good or all bad people. That all people have some good and some bad. My mouth was on the floor. I’ll have to go back and record it.

Sad part is that there are times where God uses him and he has some really strong Lord lead messages but his actions and lifestyle is what shows the lukewarm state that he is in. I truly do pray for him, he has the skill to preach like nobody's business but does he have a heart for the Lord truly? That has always been my concern for him. When he gets in the world his message becomes watered down and he doesn't stand on God's word which always bothered me. He'll sit with Oprah and agree with her worldly nonsense.
