**DANGEROUS QUAD GUYS** This is a Bad quad and a big thumbs down for me, but at your own risk .Here is the sales link x8 pro: www.banggood.com/custlink/3DmKsCB6rC Thanks everyone and I hope I save you A 100 bucks from buying this thing. Please Like & subscribe!!! Cheers And Happy Flying!!!
Thanks for the honesty Donnie. I hope RCmoment sees and understands this too. It's not RCmoment's fault that this quad is bad/defective as you said and no one who watches this blames them. It's Syma's fault for not getting their act together. I hope RCmoment will send you another -- better drone, not by Syma. I'd definitely have no worry about buying a quad based on your recommendation. You did a great job honestly reviewing this, and I'm sure others can say the same! RCmoment, give this man a better quad to review if possible! :D
Hi. I own this particular Drone and I must say that I have not experienced any issues or problems as you and others have commented. I have successfully calibrated the GPS and calibrated the Gyro (Which people forget to do) . Mine takes off and hovers in one place with none of the so called toilet bowl effect. I understand that you need to do the calibrations in an anti clockwise direction. I personally would highly recommend this drone. To all that have issues, read the manual properly and calibrate it properly then you won't have any problems, don't press and hold the RTH button, you only need to press it once. Also you have to calibrate the on board Gyros, to do this you push both sticks towards the bottom right, lights flash fast then push both sticks towards the bottom left, lights flash slowly. After that it should remain stable in hover as the Gyros are stabilising the craft. It is a fantastic bit of kit. Yes it can be twitchy, but that is to be expected from a precision sensitive piece of equipment. I love mine and love flying it. It also looks stunning both stationary and in the air. Go ahead a buy it you won't be disappointed at all. Just remember to read, and read the manual properly and you won't have any issues, even with the camera and my phone attached in WiFi mode. ☺️ 👍
It you open yours up, you will see that syma has changed the GPS module now. So I guarantee you have the update vision that syma snuck in later after this very first production. Thank you though and hope your info can help others.
I have a Syma x8 pro that was flying perfectly. One day, the drone in flight begins to behave in an uncontrollable and dangerous way. I opened it to see what was going on inside. I found that the flat cable that feeds the barometer should not be touched by any other loose wire (LED cable or GPS cable) that could interfere with the sensitivity of the barometer. I also tried to gently move the barometer mechanism up and down, left and right, to reset it. Work done, now the drone flies again perfectly. This is not a radical solution but it worked for me... good luck for those who like to tinker.
Thanks James, I got a lot of hear on this from syma, I'm a big fan of there toys but this one was having problems. If there flying better now it's because they been having there engineers work on it. Thats why some fly good and a kit don't. They should of got it right the 1st time. Thanks so much for watching. Have a great weekend
Dude that drone is scary. I had a feeling before this came out that it would be bad but not this bad. Thanks for the honest review and the warning! Great job!! Glad you are back on your feet!!!
DRONE POOL thanks Dan so much brother. Just worry about kids getting hurt with this quad. I just hope I get the message out to as many people as I can before Xmas.
@@BIGDRONEFLYER77RC could be that, not sure. But when I bought it and started reading all the negative reviews I kinda freaked a little bit, but all is good.
Yeah no problem. If you open the newer ones being produced, the GPS is total different then the 2 I own. I had 2 I tried when they first came out from 2 different companies. They both failed, now they replaced the GPS with something different. There are some pictures people took and left them in a syma forum. But all concerning, I am still a big syma fan and love most of there products. Cheers my friend and Happy Flying.
I am so saddened by this. I was expecting greatness with this model. Thank you for such an in-depth review. I can’t believe how wacky it went and fishbowls like crazy! And by the way, amazing saves when that thing was hauling ash towards trees at full speed, you had full control. Another great and informative rewiew as always! Happy Flyin my brother!
Dang! Just watched this all the way through. Bummer that the GPS is out of whack. Syma usually makes great products, but this one definitely has issues! I look forward to seeing if Syma replies. Thanks for sharing this issue! Just noticed you are wearing a RSD shirt in this video! Awesome!
Ready Set Drone First off thanks so much Kelly for watching and supporting me. Well this video and my social media has been taking on a lot of heat. So it grabbed the attention of Syma. They like to talk to there techs and see what they can do about this. So hope to know more in the near future. Thanks again Kelly and still the x5 is my favorite quad.
Ready Set Drone the shirt I wore because you and I are Syma fans of the x5c and thought it was the right choice. Just the flight I was not expecting. 😁
Seriously dude! Didn't expect that from a Syma drone! Really appreciate this video! I have been wanting a Syma X8C with GPS, but now I'm not so sure. Keep up the good work!
Dont think its the GPS. When things like that happens it usually not the gps, its the compass. My hubsan H502C sometimes could get into toiletboweffect, but every single time I gotten that, the GPS was the saviour of the day. Its kinda overrides the COmpass and goes to the correct landing spot, then I will have hard time landing lol. So this is not a GPS issue. Its a compass issue. I'm certain. Maybe also need an IMU calibration, on real flat ground.
I remember a few years ago standing out in my back yard with my cell phone and doing the same GPS calibration routine, I don't need to do that with newer phones. Using GPS back then was hit or miss. I can't help but wonder if the low cost GPS drones are using older cheaper GPS hardware and the GPS just isn't reliable. If one of these things flies off and hurts somebody it's not going to be good.
Would you be willing to take it apart and take a few pictures of the innards? I have a theory that the problem is with the compass sensor, as usually happens when the GPS kinda-sorta works but the quad toilet-bowls. I'm wondering if Syma used a compass sensor built into the board (a known no-no) or perhaps didn't add enough shielding to prevent interference from the power circuitry. Or maybe they were daft enough to use a separate chip, but install it the wrong way around.
Donnie, I can let Rcmoment know as well that it's defective. I'm sure they will understand but I know how nervous it can make anyone when you get an "expensive" item and it's defective.
Please let your sales rep or sponsor know your test results if you're reviewing this quad for a distributor. This quad is dangerous and could be very bad for ALL DRONE PILOTS if it starts to become "drone crashing or injury" stories on the news. THANKS GUYS
JD Quad thanks JD, I was very saddened. I'm a big syma fan, all syma keeps emailing me to try calibrating again. I tried everything and so did soul force and rc escape. Its the quad not pilot error, so they said they will have the techs look into it again.
Yes i would agree, this isn't pilot error at all. To me this is a manufacturing issue, hopefully they will do more for you mate, fingers crossed you get a proper resolution.
JD Quad me too, the quad was sponsored so no worrys there. But I hope they fix it because someone's kids will be hurt. Thanks again. Cheers and happy flying!
Just watched a Syma promotional video. When they carried out the compass calibration they rotated the drone in the opposite direction to you and others suffering problems. As I asked on a previous post is this important to the calibration?
I noticed when you carried out the compass calibration the direction of rotation is opposite to that used by others with the same drone. Is this critical during the calibration process?
Ian Brown just watch my other videos, it still does it. There so may cases now and people recording it. I put a few links on here to them and there was there rc saylors as well now this is happening.
RC Escape all the way Pete.. My spare X16 GPS arrived just this minute when I got home from work.. On that great sale from our friends at GB.. They are so cheap I had to buy another ;)
For sure Pete i added yours and DJ's link on here so syma or just the public can see what is happening. Thanks brother and sad to say we have a quad that looks nice but now is a dust collector.
I think the problem is clear... They haven't insulated the gps module and FC with the insulated matting that's in all gps quads.. Pretty certain that is the issue with this syma pro here
Bugger! hat's off to you for producing the video, will save a lot of people from wasting time and money with these toys, obviously priced at toy prices but still totally useless
The Sysma X8 series in my book is a risky offering because of size and price point as this is where I started and not sure it was the best. Now I love my X5, but that is a whole different game and to make a quality (safe) bird at those lower price points just isn't possible....
Video-Drone the x5 is still my favor quad I have with over 200 hard flights and is what started my whole channel. But for syma to release this x8 pro GPS with this problem is crazy. I know that only 3 of us have reviewed this but all 3 have been with the same results. In just worried about the kids that will be opening these x8pros for Xmas and getting hurt from them. Thanks Joe so much my brother and always glad to here from ya.
Yes my X8 flew away on me and was glad it was over Lake Huron as it flew out about 1/4 miles and up over 500 feet (no control what so ever) and when it hit the water I could easily see the splash 1/4 mile away! This is what people don't get about drones as gravity has an exponential effect on a falling object and the reason I created the "Drone Splat Calculator" (link here: video-drone.diy3dtech.com/drone-splat-calculator/ )
These wi-fi cameras work on the same signal has the tx and thats why sometimes they interfere with each other but it looks like even without the camera this one is acting out, that's a shame... hope you get this sorted out, it has everything to be a great quad... All the best bro
Did you get the first generation? Or the 2nd or 3rd? The only way you know if you look inside and see which gps module you have. Then you can say I'm wrong. Cheers to you for watching. If you watch my other videos of what you all consider to be the right calibrations. You will see it failed still, and note. Read the forums to see that syma has replace the whole GPS system. So I'm betting you do not have the proto type that I had sent to me before production for all of you consumer's. Cheers and thanks for watching.
Great review! Unfortunately, I bought two units before all three reviews went live. Just before the actual delivery from TomTop, I saw DJ Soulforce video. Opened one and tried it. Same results as all of you. I found if you anticipate the funky moves it makes, you can minimize the craziness. Video on this is a waste of time. Soma should recall it.
Thats great, you got one of the upgraded ones. Syma has been working on fading out these first batches for there new updated GPS system. Cheers and thanks for watching.
I'm a GnuBee and plan to purchase my first drone soon. I was looking at the X8HG until I saw the X8 Pro and thought this was the real deal. Thanks to you, and other reviewers, no way! I appreciate your review and keep up the good work!
Don Bomer Thanks so much for watching, I just want to help all you guys so you know what to expect. Thanks and please sub if you haven't already. Thanks again. Take a look at my channel and there are some good drones on there you may want to buy. Cheers
owen barrett thanks so much and that's why I do this. So many people now, having the same problems. There wishing they didn't buy it. Glad I was able to help.
i'm in the uk and i have got the syma x8 pro im finding the gps hold is ok if you don't let go of sticks on remote quick it dosent judder half as bad and maintains gps lock if you slowley push the sticks to middle position i have had no toilet bowl effect either altitude hold is good but if there's more than 5mph wind it will effect the gps hold on pitching left to right so going full throttle at height and if there is gusts up at 25m it will display the effects of flying on its own and go a little crazy this is just my personal findings and il keep watching to see if syma admits there are any problems with the x8pro i hope this helps
looking forward to no if the copper sheild fix will improve the x8 pro and i hope you will update us all when you can keep up the good work big drone !!
great stuff i haven't flyed mine for a few days as been windy in the uk looking forward to see if you have an improvement on your fix i'll keep watching my friend
Contacted the Australian distributor for Syma about the problems that you and others have found with this drone and they are in complete denial.I pointed them to the RUclips reviews however they refuse to believe that it could be a Syma model drone stating that the several hundred sold has not suffered problems.
They have been seeking some upgraded x8 pros on the market, but Syma will not say they fixed it. If your lucky and get a new one from the manufacturer, but it's a risk do to so many of the 1st productions are still sitting in stores. Let me know if you are interested in a nice beginner drone that is durable and affordable. Then I will give you a link to one of my choices. Cheers my friend
@@BIGDRONEFLYER77RC My son in law has a DJI Phantom 3, that seemed a bit overkill for what I want to do initially, but looking at some of the other videos of working X8 Pro's, I am not very thrilled by the image stabilization (or lack thereof). So, I may need to get a Phantom 3 to be happy with the results. My offhand budget is about $400, but was hoping to spend less so I can get some add ons (battery, replacement blades, etc)
I would get a DJI spark then, great beginner drone and does great 1080p filming. Just look at my last few videos and it is worth the 349. Not long ago target had it with the fly more package for 249usd. It's so easy to fly
I bought one coming on Tuesday or Wednesday now I'm not sure I want it. Has any one opened it up yet maybe compass not connected well. I was relying on syma to make a good one
Daniel Taormina Daniel I would cancel it or send it back, I need this video shared so someone doesn't buy it for there kids. It is very dangerous brother, watch my buddies video I linked. Man someone is going to be hurt.
Good luck Donnie... sad to see this. Syma went down the shitter a long time ago. There are too many people having problems with this one. Syma's "downfall" started with the X8HG and its wonderful "fall from the sky on downward throttle for too long" feature. Since then all they've done is put out sub-par overpriced quads with proprietary battery casing and connectors. I doubt Syma will contact you at all but hope they do.
John - You nailed it bro! POW!!! ...I loved the X8HG and the X8H series. It was a nice step up for Syma being it's first series of altitude hold birds. I didn't have any problems with mine, however, I am experienced pilot and have learned to not pull "any" throttle stick down & hold too long on "any" of my quads. (that's a popular kill command on many quads, to include the Phantom 3 Standard!!!) but unfortunately, a lot of guys didn't know that, and Syma was guilty of not making it known to it's customers, in BOLD PRINT, in the user's manual. But you're right, since the X8H series, it's been all down hill... LoL!!! Happy flying bro. DJ SOUL FORCE
well I think most of us do know this. The problem was more or less, you never really did do that hold down for 3 seconds command do shut down the motors. I know I didnt, and it happend all the time for me. With two TX and it was the same thing. I had to go down really slow on my Bird. But ok, it didnt crash because of this so called shut-down feature, it crashed because a props broke in mid-flight. But I think I showed the problem in one of mine vids. And that was that you never had to pull the throttle down all the way at all, wich is the command. I never had mine throttle down all the way, but it still shut down the motors.
Jerry, correct, and the inconsistency you described (which I also experienced) is probably why it's not boldly written in the manual. It was not *really* intended to actually "work" the way it does because it makes NO sense. Being an experienced pilot had nothing to do with it. I believe it's a defect in the model itself and I'll explain why. The root of the problem is with the programming *in* the X8HG. Holding down throttle stick is a common disarm feature of many quadcopters with altitude hold. *But, when working correctly, it will only disarm it when it's on the ground, NOT while descending!* How does a drone know it's "on the ground?" Without any optical flow sensors or otherwise... it does not really "know" this. Therefore; the only way to implement a disarm method with throttle fully down for 3 seconds is to track changes in altitude via the barometer. With no change in altitude detected, *then* the motors can accept a disarm signal. This is exactly why people are able to grab their drones by the legs and then hold down the throttle to shut them off. Is the drone "on the ground" when that happens? No. But it detected no further change in altitude, so it disarms (as it was programmed to do so). This is an extremely simple algorithm and makes perfect sense, so it's incorporated into almost every drone with a barometer that I can think of which I own. The only reason this 'feature' would fail and cause a disarm is if the barometric sensor was defective in some way... OR the programmer of the flight control board made a serious mistake when checking change in pressure/altitude! Given that X8HG holds altitude pretty well, I bet it's the latter. Or perhaps some quirky combination of both... perhaps hardware inconsistencies... causing a failure of communication between the underlying code and barometer module... the specifics are hard to say. If the shutdown issue is not a defect then Syma is truly mind-numblingly stupid. They never replied to any of my emails or anyone elses as far as I know to confirm or deny it. (Probably to prevent a lawsuit). It doesn't belong in a manual... it belongs recalled for the many who were plagued by the issue. For what it's worth, the Syma X5UW which was released a little later after XH8G on got this feature working 100% correctly as it should be. Syma should just stick to 200mm size or less toys rather than put out allegedly dangerously built models that are just going to hurt someone or cause property damage.
Then i think its a programmers fault. Because if we think about it. Then the throttle stick is in the middle, its should be 0, right. And when it gets into shutdown motors it should be telling that the throttlestick at full down should shut down motors after 3 seconds. Lets say that full down is 100. But somehow this person put this fulldown allready at 96, wich means that you're dont need to press the throttle full down for three seconds. My ALtitude hold worked without problems its was just that you didnt have to press the throttle down full, as it states in the manual. Even when you arm the quad you didnt have to get all the way up and all the way down. The hubsan cam 4 plus also had this issue, but they didnt have almost full down when the motors shut down. It was full down for that to happen. But I do agree with you, when it comes to hose bigger quads. Syma really have to check their products that are big that they really works, because that plastic that was in mine is almost indestructable. It can handle more than other parts of the quad. legs break easy, motors shafts bends and so on. :-)
Thanks for the video. For me to late. Yesterday i tested my new x8pro. Very windy day. I thougt i hold the drone low because the wind (storm). Suddenly the drone goes higher and higer. In the high the wind was very strong and twirled the drone very. I had luck an the drone come back. Now I`m uncertain. if it gives a solution, please can u help me? I`m from Germany, sorry for my bad english.
zembi2 so sorry to hear that, everyone should write syma, only a hand full of us have. They have a contact on facebook. They here enough of us they should do a recall.
You are right.......it was happened to mine too.......I think probably im is no knowledge about controlling it..,.......but when I try for the second time , it happened again......!(sorry for my bad English)
Hello, I just moved so I have the x8 pro in storage. So I'm sorry I cant measure it right for ya. The specs shows its 50×50×19 cm on the manual when I looked it up on syma website. Hope that may help. I believe it should be the same as the x8w. So I will measure it tomorrow if you like.
Well done review and I love the way you closed it out with a high level of class. Everyone NEEDS TO KNOW - "THIS QUAD COULD BE DANGEROUS" and should be recalled or pulled off the shelves IMMEDIATELY. Your "removing the camera" test was going to be my next (and last) test before I publish a "DON'T BUY THIS QUAD" video to warn the public. (thanks for saving me time, I've done 3 days testing already! LoL!!!) Christmas is coming and some kid's parents are going to buy this quad for a teen and we all know what's going to happen next!!! (more "anti drone" stories in the news!!!) ...bad for us experienced pilots. SYMA MUST FIX THIS ISSUE NOW & PULL THE CURRENT MODELS FROM THE MARKET. Please inform your sales rep at RC Moment of your results. I've already written to mine and so has RC Escape. To protect the public and OUR hobby, we have to stop this one from getting to the holiday market... POW!!! -djsoulforce
Thanks DJ i have talk to my rep and sent them yours ,mine and Pete's video to show its a syma problem from the factory. So thank you so much for getting back to me on this terrible product, I Pray they stop this A.S.A.P before someone gets seriously hurt. It will happen, the quad came at me a few times but I pull her out of it in time. So i have this posted on my facebook RC group and everyone of my social media links i could send it. I have not taken the quad a part yet,I'm waiting to see if syma or my rep may want it back for addressing the issue with it. So thanks again my brother and happy we can get the word out. take care.
Great work brothers, this quadcopter should NOT be released in large quantities to the consumer and HAS TO BE RECALLED and refunded to those that may have purchased one already
All of you, DJ Soul Force, Pete at RC Escape, and of course, Big drone flyer77 have done all of us a real service by reviewing this turkey to death. Hopefully, you'll have saved someone innocent on the ground serious injury. The LAST thing we need, as you've said, it bad PR for our hobby that's already getting too much bad press. Keep the pointy end forward and the shiny side up!
Sick puppy!! Yeah so glad you didn't by it. So for around the same price I would get the MJX bugs2c. You get an awesome drone with brushless motors. It's fast, very reliable,it flys up to 1km away. great GPS, or switch to alitiude hold for fast smoother flight. Just check out my other videos. I leave links for it too. Cheers and any questions just ask.
@@BIGDRONEFLYER77RC Thanks for the up date .....I will be sending it back ...now looking at a MJX Bugs 3 pro ....seems to write p ok ...what do you think?
Its ok, if you want to use your own actions camera. Me personally would get the bugs5w, you have a 1080p camera with a gimble. So you can look down also and it helps stabilize the video. Here is a link to banggood. It's GPS as well and it's $136usd and here is a coupon 8%off for RC Toys & Hobbies: rchobbies8 us.banggood.com/custlink/mvKKvuVzNF You can't beat the price on this right now, it's a great deal. But if your still wanting the bug3 pro, like me know and I will see if I can great a good price on it. Just have a look at the bugs5w, it's a 5g WiFi system. So if you want to connect to your phone or tablet it has to been 5g. Newer androids have it and of course iPhones do.
Thanks for this video... I might suggest a simple effective fix for this wobble effect. Also i like to add you say they now solder the motors to the board and that's correct they do now. Even worst the do have connecter plug for the led light so HEY thats neath you can now switch the led lights these almost never break...but you know.. So to get back on that toilet effect, wel they went very low cost on it is my geus. Maybe its to reduce some costs of the new features it has like no telemetry and so. They also lacked placing some simpel noise shield in between the controller board and it's gps module. Take some soda can tape it so it dont shortcut anything on the board and you should be good to go. I do add i am about to do so myself but i had the same issue with my hubson x4 desire after replacing the motor i forgot to put back that piece and i couldn't fly it even if i wanted it. Hope it helps some of you out there who went on and bought it before checking some reviews.
Cheers my friend and thank you so much. I know syma was mad at me, but I still love a lot of there products and just wanted them to not cut corners. Thanks again for watching. Cheers and happy flying my friend
DeafDronePilot I have the x8w was a great flyer, I just don't use Wi-Fi cams because they are on the same 2.4g frequency as the controller. I just reviewed the Tenergy x8sw limited edition and it was flying just fine.
i think there the same the only difference is gps, but please don't buy this drone they are messed up, gearbest and rc moment is working on not selling this drone do to severe flyaway issues.
It has lost its GPS lock and tries to fly off. I love Syma and I'm a big fan. But something is wrong with this model. Some many are being returned with the same problems.
Good and correct review, all things were done as they should like calibration so we can rule out pilot error. Thanks for sharing this as I personally hate so called "reviewers" that will try to sell this s*hit as a "great gps drone".
TechTronic9000 Thanks so much for the kind comment Paul. Its a same syma can release this knowing kids and be hurt and injured from this quad. I'm trying to get everyone to share my video, Pete's and DJ soul force video to help save kids from being injured with this dangerous quad. Thanks again my brother.
I agree, my firts flight have same problem when return to home. Very dangerous and must to cancel return to home mode and use manual landing. Use return to home mode If you want to see like drunken master landing
Its not good at all, for the same price you can buy a MJX bugs2c that is brushless motors,GPS, 1080p cam and fly up to 1k away. Its flys for 15mins and is awesome. I would stay away from this x8 pro. It does fly aways, and has compass problems with its gps system.
You will have to look up the details on that. BANGGOOD has in here is my link: shrsl.com/y7be Or gearbest is another place to buy :shrsl.com/uasw. You can even do a camera and fpv mod to it. ruclips.net/video/A37y5A-n_9o/видео.html
Thanks for a good honest review Donnie. This X8 Pro is so bad it's like a joke, can't believe they sent this out to reviewers. And I wanted to like this one. Sad to Syma failing so badly, they might not survive this disaster.
Ron Brown this is bad Ron and the future law suits from kids, adults, and property this quad is going to cause. Man they should recall now it will save them in the future.
SOUL FORCE QUADS ‘Your Done Son’, I like it. Why would anyone want the X8 Pro over the X16 GPS. About the same price if you get the x16 without a camera, plus you get brushless motors with the X16.
No doubt it is horrible. You almost crashed into the trees... well I completely crashed the thing into the trees and spent the rest of the day trying to find a ladder. Its really annoying that it takes control of itself. I wanted to ask if you had any problems with the camera. My camera control is not working. My phone is connected to the wifi and I can record videos, but the control - up, down and click photo is not happening. Its really a big hazard to set the camera manually at a constant angle and then fly it. Did you face any similar problems or know how to fix it?
Yea dude I know they need to inform what changes and upgrades they make. You have been into this field for such a long time yet you face problems. How do they expect novices (like me) to understand. Like dude I wouldn’t lie but its a whole lot of money and it doesn’t really go well if you’re a university student (like me again).tbh I don’t even know what I paid for. But thanks man, appreciate the quick reply. I’ll check what a gimble motor is first😂 and then I’ll learn how to fix that if thats whats causing problem with the camera. Whatever it’ll be, I’ll keep ya checked👍🏻
Well, I dont know what exactly the problem was... probably will never find out but its working now all of a sudden. The battery keeps gettin low only after a single flight though but apart from that I think it works. Thanks for the video man 👍🏻
SYMA tried Denying there was ever a problem. I noticed after opening one of the newer models from a year or two ago, they have changed the whole gps system, the gps compasses are different now as well. So they been replacing Drones sent back to the manufacture with the updated Drones. They didn’t wanna mention their mistake, due to being a frayed of so many returns. Obviously the returns kept coming anyways so they definitely had to replace the whole GPS system. Thanks for watching and take care of my friend.
Also I would not buy, you are not Guaranteed that it will be the latest version, they still have so many of the number one versions which are bad. So I would not take the chance there’s a lot better drones out there for the same price. Good luck my friend.
@@BIGDRONEFLYER77RC I see. Thank you for the update. I think I’ll be taking the risk since there aren’t many drones for sale in my country and not willing to wait weeks if order from Chinese websites.
Dont think its the gps. It looks more like a compass issue. The GPS is more or less the feature that actually save this bird from flying away on RC Escapes channle what I could see. The problem lies in that the quad has a bad motivator... lol. Nah, just kidding. It has bad directional sense. Think like this. You're are blind, you dont know at wich direction your are heading in room-space. Of course you know where your nose is heading though but you could only second-guess. So you know that your door is on your left side. Someone spins your around, and your losing where you are. But you still are sure that the door is on the left side, so you turn left, and go at the door. Now your friend that were spinning you around, tells you.... no, your walking to the wrong way. You have to turn to the right. YOu comply, but turn a little to much to the right, but go fast forward. Your friend says, to much. A just a tiny bit to the left again. And now your reaches the door, and you there. This is what I think is kinda happening. The quad dont know the directions, because of a faulty compass module.
This review... saddens me. MY drone is on it's way to me via FedEx! I should get it before the 4th of July. If I do, I will PROMPTLY take her out for a test flight to see what she's got!
Well hopefully you will receive the upgraded gps x8 pro. Syma has changed the gps system in the new ones, but there are a lot of first models being sold still. There is no way of telling which one you have unless you take it apart. Thanks for watching and good luck my friend
@@BIGDRONEFLYER77RC Thank you for the tip! Hopefully I will get a new one, since I had to go to their actual website to FIND one, as everywhere else I looked were sold out! Fingers crossed!!!
Can anyone suggest a mid range / Mid priced drone with a camera to start out with , without being a cheapo "Entry Level" drone... i don't wanna get bored a week later and wish I bought a better one ...would like to start out a lil better than beginner.... Also- This may be too much to ask but.... I don't wanna have to use my Iphone for everything in my life... Is there any that have a screen to see where the camera is pointing built into the controller? or does that move me from aprox. $150 bux to the stratosphere?
oh yeah?....OK thanks...I'll check that out when It comes out. Does it have the camera view built into the controller? or do I have to use my phone? I hate that ...
Hello I wanted to ask if you have discovered the defect of the drone and if solvable because 'I made the purchase (shipping) and is a model that I like so much let me know thanks.
Its a real pity because in a sense it seems to fly good. But that gps must be malfunctioning. Or did they send out a batch with no quality control? It seems that SYMA was in a hurry to get this bird out. Its a pity. Did you try to remove all things that could generate a magnetic field, like watches, the tx itself, and so on? :-)
Jerry Berglund yes we have all tried everything, removed everything and even different styles of calibrations as well as the syma manual directions. It is a bad bird😞
Stephen Hung thanks but you must of not seen the end of video. I'm the 3rd to review this and all of us have a dangerous faulty quad from Syma. There will be a recall I'm sure.
So HG throttle death bug and the GPS flies away???? Brushed too. 👎 Thought that was the point of GPS. There are too many good GPS camera quads around the $400 mark that works like it should. By the time someone buys one of these cheap ass GPS units, a gimbal, and a good camera they are going to be out about that much anyway. My advice would be to invest in GPS, play with Syma. Thanks for the effort. PS. You need a landing pad. That landing on its side will strip a gear.
Dronography-Aerial Meditation yes thanks but with this quad I didn't care, it needs to be off the market. Can you share this video for me please. That way someone don't buy this for there kids and someone getting hurt. This quad is dangerous if someone has not flying experience. Thanks brother P.s. maybe someone will send me a pad for Xmas. 😉👍
The Hubsan H502e crushes this. Telemetry, GPS that works (did have toilet bowl once, landed, recalibrated and had a good flight) and I've seen them as low as $60 on sales. No gimbal support, but for almost half the price and it just works? Why not if you're looking for a dirt cheap GPS trainer, or a toy for the kiddos.
You can try and see if they faded all the first line of x8 pro’s out. There could always be that chance of getting an older one, it’s u to you. Banggood has one for a hundred bucks usd right now. www.banggood.com/custlink/3DmKsCB6rC
I'm having the same issues yes it's very scary to fly except mine didn't correct itself i could not regain control and crashed and burnt out my rear a motor! Since you put the copper tape in have you tried this lazy Susan super slow gps calibration that everyone says is working? I'll look up the guys video and come back to tell you his name so you can look up his video. I haven't tried it yet since I'm still waiting on my replacement parts! Syma is ignoring all contact with about the x8pro and so is tomtop the company i purchased my x8pro from
yeah its crazy, they have talk to me because i have shut down alot of there sells. So im sure there not liking me right now, but they will get back to me when they think they have fixed it. lol
Ok well i got my x8pro repaired gear changed! So i did this super slow calibration i picked up the drone held it in spot and basically walked around it and got a very very stable 2 battery flight rth worked flawless it does have a very short battery life maybe 8 minutes per battery but it actually flew prefect! I did do the copper tape mod as well but i used a rubberized coated copper tape!
bangnhard please share on video and do a high speed foward for 20ft. and stop. Do this a few times in high rate foward, backwards and then try sideways. That way you can show people it didn't take off all crazy or go wild in a toilet bowel like mine did. Because I have taken it out again and did a slow calibration with the same bad results. So please post a video with what I said so people can see that you figured out how to fix it. Thanks and when you did a video please post on here and I will share it with the 100's of people that have emailed me over the last month or so. Thanks again.
ok first i gotta get a camera and someone to come film ive never filmd myself while flying lol! but even today we had a nice 50 degree day so i took it up again and pushed it in high speed went threw all 3 batteries i have for this bird without one hicup and believe me i was very nervous but i cruised about 100 meters in all directions while maintaining about a 50 meter height! i will say she dont stop very well but she did stop with no toilet bowling or anything! i had one freak out when it took off by its self but it ended up just being the low battery fail safe and returned it right home! so hopefully this weekend Donny i can get some help recording and ill take a video of how i did the calibration dance and her flight because im actually amazed at how stable she really is! ill also show the type of shielding i used over the gps module! thanks again hope your doing well with your recovery!
John Wedrall thanks John and please share this so we my stop some kids from receiving this for Xmas. That way no one will get hurt, Exspecialy kids. Thanks brother.
Wow I just bought this wonky thing and I figure to use it for parts for my other Symas x8 series. Major let down on such a predictably dependable line if birds we all love. Back to my beastly double GPS Bayang X 21. Even it's following modle X22 went this route( just not as bad) old rule---- If it ain't broke don't fix it. The end of 2 really good series of birds. Rip xX 22 and X 8 pro. Dandahermit
RCSaylors example did similarly, makes a minimum of 4 approx same results. Quite amazing that Syma released it, clearly a case of the marketing section overruling the tech guys.
30 years of flying gliders and rc planes, I was used of calling those birds. But Obviously you’re just trolling my channel and give me a hard time. God bless you
**DANGEROUS QUAD GUYS**
This is a Bad quad and a big thumbs down for me, but at your own risk .Here is the sales link x8 pro: www.banggood.com/custlink/3DmKsCB6rC
Thanks everyone and I hope I save you A 100 bucks from buying this thing.
John Cuppi thanks so much for the kind words John, that means so much.
Need to pin the above comment to the top so it is the first one shown. Had to scroll down a ways to see this one.
Full marks to you for your honest review. Shame on Syma for pushing out crap.
Thank you sir, for pronouncing SYMA correctly. Your credibility has a solid foundation
I own this drone and have no problems with controlling this quad. I highly recommend this for beginner drone flyers.
Well your version was upgraded, mine was the first model out and now syma has fixed them. Glad you have the second series. Cheers and Happy Flying.
@@BIGDRONEFLYER77RC *Got an address for the Syma Forum you are talking about❓*
Great product no issues what so ever I flew it in 30km winds and held its position ❤
The Flyin Tek RC thanks my brother, this was the craziest quad I have ever reviewed.
Ready Set Drone Thanks Kelly very much brother, just glad Syma got a hold of me and now hope the techs work on it soon. Have a great weekend!
Terry Pullen thanks so much for watching. This thing needs to be recalled.
Or maybe they were daft enough to use a separate chip, but install it the wrong way around.
yeah i will sometime, just giving it a lil time to see if they want the product back
Donnie, I can let Rcmoment know as well that it's defective. I'm sure they will understand but I know how nervous it can make anyone when you get an "expensive" item and it's defective.
Yeah for sure, but that's why you and I do this to let the public know about good and bad products. Thanks Ryan
Please let your sales rep or sponsor know your test results if you're reviewing this quad for a distributor. This quad is dangerous and could be very bad for ALL DRONE PILOTS if it starts to become "drone crashing or injury" stories on the news. THANKS GUYS
Shocking stuff from Syma, i was going to buy this myself, great review mate!!
Yeah thats the last thing anyone wants, i hope they will fix it. Thanks mate and you :-)
Just watched a Syma promotional video. When they carried out the compass calibration they rotated the drone in the opposite direction to you and others suffering problems. As I asked on a previous post is this important to the calibration?
Ian Brown I have tried all calibration and Syma's . its a faulty quadcopter. Needs recall.
That bites! A handsome drone. All of us have had the Syma X5C and to see this going bad is sad. Good video.
Tommy Drone thanks and yeah I was hoping it was a good quad for my boy. But I guess not
I think That your problem IS at calibration. You've got to Turn the drone in counter-clockwise direction... NOT on clockwise
what is the significance of having a drone ? particularly on a resort?
good job D!!! Now, there are three confirmed units with the same issues.
RC Escape sad really ain't it.. I'll thing I'll skip this one Pete and not waste my time.
OH no!!!! don't even think about getting it Dave.... Bayangtoys x16 GPS Baby!!!
RC Escape all the way Pete.. My spare X16 GPS arrived just this minute when I got home from work.. On that great sale from our friends at GB.. They are so cheap I had to buy another ;)
RC Escape I now have the X21 as you've probably noticed.. I maiden flew it the other week.. Can't wait to mod it up brother
For sure Pete i added yours and DJ's link on here so syma or just the public can see what is happening. Thanks brother and sad to say we have a quad that looks nice but now is a dust collector.
Looks like you got your Turkey early this Thanksgiving. Great honest review Donnie.
Wakey Wakey R C Thanks brother
I think the problem is clear... They haven't insulated the gps module and FC with the insulated matting that's in all gps quads.. Pretty certain that is the issue with this syma pro here
Bugger! hat's off to you for producing the video, will save a lot of people from wasting time and money with these toys, obviously priced at toy prices but still totally useless
Thanks so much for the great comment. I have gotten a lot of heat about this one. I don't think syma likes me now.
Big drone flyer77, just being honest, can't roast you for that.
Wayne Shephard thanks so much I subbed ya. I really appreciate it
The Sysma X8 series in my book is a risky offering because of size and price point as this is where I started and not sure it was the best.
Drone lovers Portugal thanks brother man its so sad 😢
Good review Donnie, I say Syma better do a recall on these asap.. Feel sorry for those consumers that may have already bought one
PerthWestOZ RC that's for sure, well I'm good at getting lemons. One of these days I will get a good quad.
Should the calibration be done on a flat area and not on the ground?
Ulujmf no it was find where it was calibrated. Just a bad quad, 100's of people having problems now.
Never tried a syma flying gps cow but are the calibration really done by rotating it like that? Should it not be a smooth rotation?
You are right. This guy made a wrong calibration. Mine can fly nicely...
Soma should recall it.
mispicks man sorry to hear that, its a shame how syma could let this leave the factory like this
I have this and it works perfectly
Thats great, you got one of the upgraded ones. Syma has been working on fading out these first batches for there new updated GPS system. Cheers and thanks for watching.
small tip: mount the camera on another table or on a tripod to prevent the shake and jello, and try using a wider fov lens to get everything in shot
KevokevoMC thanks but I need this video shared to stop it from kids getting it for Xmas . it is a dangerous quad and someone is going to be hurt.
Big drone flyer77 lol but you can always make them wait for an e010😂
I'm a GnuBee and plan to purchase my first drone soon. I was looking at the X8HG until I saw the X8 Pro and thought this was the real deal. Thanks to you, and other reviewers, no way! I appreciate your review and keep up the good work!
Don Bomer Thanks so much for watching, I just want to help all you guys so you know what to expect. Thanks and please sub if you haven't already. Thanks again. Take a look at my channel and there are some good drones on there you may want to buy. Cheers
I was going to buy one,but not now after this review, thanks
owen barrett thanks so much and that's why I do this. So many people now, having the same problems. There wishing they didn't buy it. Glad I was able to help.
so which one u finally bought and hows ur experience with it because im looking one for myself
I fly the mavic air 2 now, I love it.
i'm in the uk and i have got the syma x8 pro im finding the gps hold is ok if you don't let go of sticks on remote quick it dosent judder half as bad and maintains gps lock if you slowley push the sticks to middle position i have had no toilet bowl effect either altitude hold is good but if there's more than 5mph wind it will effect the gps hold on pitching left to right so going full throttle at height and if there is gusts up at 25m it will display the effects of flying on its own and go a little crazy this is just my personal findings and il keep watching to see if syma admits there are any problems with the x8pro i hope this helps
I hope they fix it soon, i will have mine back togother monday to see if it will fly after the copper tape shield
looking forward to no if the copper sheild fix will improve the x8 pro and i hope you will update us all when you can keep up the good work big drone !!
djsparky46 just got the copper and going to work on it soon .
great stuff i haven't flyed mine for a few days as been windy in the uk looking forward to see if you have an improvement on your fix i'll keep watching my friend
problem is this is just the X8SW with GPS. I reviewed the X8SW and it was horrible and I couldn't recommend it.
RD's Drone Reviews yeah just glad there they to stop sales on this one. Thanks Ryan for the support bro
Contacted the Australian distributor for Syma about the problems that you and others have found with this drone and they are in complete denial.I pointed them to the RUclips reviews however they refuse to believe that it could be a Syma model drone stating that the several hundred sold has not suffered problems.
Ian Brown yeah they don't like me right now.
My syma xs8w limited edition does this im getting rid of it and getting me a phantom
Great choice my friend, even the Mavic mini would be a good one too. Cheers and thanks from watching.
These ever get fixed? Looking for an entry level drone I can learn on before going to a much more expensive unit.
Also I need to know your price range in USD, if your serious about buying a drone.
@@BIGDRONEFLYER77RC Thank You for the suggestion! I will check that out.
I'm sure they will not but i bet they will have many returns for this thing and will pull it off the market or fix it. Thanks John
*But, when working correctly, it will only disarm it when it's on the ground, NOT while descending!*
How does a drone know it's "on the ground?" Without any optical flow sensors or otherwise... it does not really "know" this.
what is the weakness of drone syma x8 pro this. I see a lot of videos complaining about crazy moves. is there a solution for crazy move
Nothing yet, maybe the compasses can be fixed by Syma.
Big drone flyer77 I have written to the company were I bought it. Next I will write it to the facebookpage of syma. Thanks.
zembi2 yeah its a must, this quad is going to hurt someone.
I was planning to buy one but i changed my mind. I was reviewing this for weeks, good thing there was a honest review here. Thanks a lot!
Thank you so much, I do appreciate you watching.
@@BIGDRONEFLYER77RC also i subscribed! You deserved it! :)
I sure thank you, so much for that.
You are right.......it was happened to mine too.......I think probably im is no knowledge about controlling it..,.......but when I try for the second time , it happened again......!(sorry for my bad English)
Your English is good, it's the drone my friend. I would buy a MJX bugs2 or a f16 they are brushless and very reliable. Thank you for watching.
Hello, WHAT IS THE SQUARE INCHES OF THAT SYMA X8 PRO. FROM THE PROPELLER.
Ok thanks, they measured from the propeller protectors. if the Pro is the same as the Syma x8c it would be 10"x 10" square or 14 x14" the x way.
Ok cool brother, cheers and happy flying.
SOUL FORCE QUADS So Syma has got a hold of me so we are trying to work with the techs to get this bird fixed.
Cool, I'm hoping for the best. Please keep me posted. Thanks
Do you think it might be to much wind?
Sick puppy!! No the compasses are not working right on it.
Big drone flyer77 ok thanks for your video you saved me from purchasing it.
Big drone flyer77 thanks 👍
I just purchased one of these for a Xmas gift, un open so far, Did they eventually fix this problem ?
Some of them, but there are still a lot of the first batch, still being sold.
It's GPS as well and it's $136usd and here is a coupon 8%off for RC Toys & Hobbies: rchobbies8
us.banggood.com/custlink/mvKKvuVzNF
You can't beat the price on this right now, it's a great deal.
Cheers and happy flying my friend
please advise. I can still cancel the gearbest order. Will All X8 Pro Bad?
Lukáš Zavadil yes so far gearbest has stopped orders. Don't order or stop your order.
Thanks Big D great review as always
md 95tsi thanks so much brother
I canceled the order for the gearbest. Is Symma X8SW a solution? Is fine? Wait for Symptom x8Pro to repair?
Lukáš Zavadil RD drone reviews said it was no better. That it was not a good drone. I would get a mjx bugs2 or a hubsan h501s. There good drones.
Thank you so I do not buy the X8Sw? So what are the drons in the price range?
Any of the older versions of the Syma X8 work fine. X8C, X8W, X8G, X8HC, X8HW and X8HG.
DeafDronePilot I have the x8w was a great flyer, I just don't use Wi-Fi cams because they are on the same 2.4g frequency as the controller. I just reviewed the Tenergy x8sw limited edition and it was flying just fine.
Hi there is a battery for Syma X8SW battery compatible for Syma X8 PRO?Thank you
i think there the same the only difference is gps, but please don't buy this drone they are messed up, gearbest and rc moment is working on not selling this drone do to severe flyaway issues.
How high can it go in the air?
Not to far it will fly away
wtf
It has lost its GPS lock and tries to fly off. I love Syma and I'm a big fan. But something is wrong with this model. Some many are being returned with the same problems.
What’s a TX
Is that a T-Rex
True Drone Reviews lol
You have to explain it to the common user. Stop saying tx say controller.
True Drone Reviews sorry won't say it again
Good and correct review, all things were done as they should like calibration so we can rule out pilot error. Thanks for sharing this as I personally hate so called "reviewers" that will try to sell this s*hit as a "great gps drone".
TechTronic9000 Thanks so much for the kind comment Paul. Its a same syma can release this knowing kids and be hurt and injured from this quad. I'm trying to get everyone to share my video, Pete's and DJ soul force video to help save kids from being injured with this dangerous quad. Thanks again my brother.
Three strikes and it's out , Syma need to be ashamed, good review 👍😎👍
Herb flying high thanks so much
I agree, my firts flight have same problem when return to home. Very dangerous and must to cancel return to home mode and use manual landing. Use return to home mode If you want to see like drunken master landing
Great review mate👌
Thijs RC thanks bro just shock about how bad this was
Well I got mine opened it and shielded the GPS I can't fly it yet due wind for next few days bummer
Daniel Taormina you take picks of how you shield it brother?
Has anyone orderd from gearbest before, only now chasing up order that hasnt arrived 4 weeks later.
sean holland its normal with standard free shipping.
Tanks,you helped me
Andrea Rau Awesome, so glad to help.
WOW....So far for me the X15W is pretty cool..... yes its small but so far so good......WOW good video info.....
Jonathan D Photography19 Thanks big J, yeah was sad about this quadcopter. I have it a part to see what I can do to fix it.
Thanx for info.this ones off the list!
scott-n-anna's rc fun That's why I do what I do. Very sad that syma would let this leave the factory. Someone is going be hurt from this.
hope Syma gets back to you..
Me too and i would love to here what they would have to say. Thanks so much John
editing software using what i can ask for the link...
Cakra Gebang I'm using action director on Google play store.
Big drone flyer77 nothing results like that😅
How good is the camera are you able to upload them to facebook?
Its not good at all, for the same price you can buy a MJX bugs2c that is brushless motors,GPS, 1080p cam and fly up to 1k away. Its flys for 15mins and is awesome. I would stay away from this x8 pro. It does fly aways, and has compass problems with its gps system.
In regards to the MJXbugs2c brushless motors, gps, 1080 p cam how long will it take to be delivered to my place and how much does it cost?
You will have to look up the details on that. BANGGOOD has in here is my link: shrsl.com/y7be
Or gearbest is another place to buy :shrsl.com/uasw. You can even do a camera and fpv mod to it. ruclips.net/video/A37y5A-n_9o/видео.html
what is a camera and fpv mod?????
Im taking your word for it man. Ive never had a drone and im on my way to punta cana i would love to fly a drone over the water ???
Looks like "3 Strikes" and Syma is out! Big Disappointment, that's one scary bird. Maybe it wanted to land in that tree because it laid a big egg! :)
DeafDronePilot man that thing is dangerous
Thanks for a good honest review Donnie. This X8 Pro is so bad it's like a joke, can't believe they sent this out to reviewers. And I wanted to like this one. Sad to Syma failing so badly, they might not survive this disaster.
Ron Brown this is bad Ron and the future law suits from kids, adults, and property this quad is going to cause. Man they should recall now it will save them in the future.
Good thing it didn't hit you or anyone else. Trying to sue a company in mainland China wouldn't be easy.
Ron Brown - Love your comment - "they might not survive this disaster" - we use to say in my hood, "you done son!!!" POW!!!
SOUL FORCE QUADS ‘Your Done Son’, I like it. Why would anyone want the X8 Pro over the X16 GPS. About the same price if you get the x16 without a camera, plus you get brushless motors with the X16.
Nice great review doni. but that bird got to much problems.😉👍👍👏
yup that's why i give my honest review and this quad is no good. So its a big thumbs down from me.
The gimble motor could be bad, man I have 2 of these drones. They have upgraded the latest ones with a new GPS system and syma never told anyone.
Thanks so much, ya syma did not want to lose money on a recall. Well I'm here if any questions. Cheers my friend
Well, I dont know what exactly the problem was... probably will never find out but its working now all of a sudden. The battery keeps gettin low only after a single flight though but apart from that I think it works. Thanks for the video man 👍🏻
Your welcome, thanks again for watching.
Has the firmware been improved? Looking to buy this drone.
I hope everything goes well, thanks for watching my video. Take care my friend.
I wait for the MJX bugs5 coming out this year. The bugs2 has been an awesome gps drone and now the 5 will have a working gimble.
oh yeah?....OK thanks...I'll check that out when It comes out.
Does it have the camera view built into the controller? or do I have to use my phone? I hate that ...
Syma has really gone down the "toilet" :)
RD's Drone Reviews yes it has
Was thinking of getting this 4 my next drone but might leave it now
I would get the Holy Stone HS120D. Its a much better drone, here is a review of it.
ruclips.net/video/frlZto1gDL0/видео.html
Hello I wanted to ask if you have discovered the defect of the drone and if solvable because 'I made the purchase (shipping) and is a model that I like so much let me know thanks.
Ciro Sorrentino it has not been resolved yet.
Thanks for the info, hopefully save people wasting their money. 👍
TWO WHEEL FIX thanks I just need people to please share this so not kids get this for Xmas. Someone is going to be hurt from this quad.
Very nice
Thank you so much
Im not sure but i don't think it was the tree it was headed for , to me it looked like it was headed back to China and the tree was just in the way.
Ted Espin lmao😂
how much was it
The Jamers there $116.99usd at rc moment
Sad that such a great brand has a bad drone.
Thanks Tommy for watching
Excellent review bad quadcopter
Mike Low's RC & Hobby thanks Mike, agreed.
Very nice X8 Pro
Thanks brother
P.s. maybe someone will send me a pad for Xmas. 😉👍
Yeah I agree and will post all 3 reviews of the POS. Keep em honest
Joven I have the h502e and the h501s brushless and its way better then this.
Salve,scoperto il difetto?
Ciro Sorrentino haven't heard back from Syma for a few weeks to see if they are going to fix it.
Hi There You Can Buy It again Because Syma Fixed Everything Wrong So We People Can buy Again
You can try and see if they faded all the first line of x8 pro’s out. There could always be that chance of getting an older one, it’s u to you. Banggood has one for a hundred bucks usd right now. www.banggood.com/custlink/3DmKsCB6rC
defective?
Yes it is, I would pass on it.
mine was as well I got the Syma X8HG
The x8c,x8w,w8sw,x8hg are all great quads. Just the pro has a compass problem for the GPS.
Yea I lost that X8HG and it just flew off never saw it again it was about 30ft in the air
Bummer, I think quality control is the issue for a lot of these mass produced drones.
Like always great video
NOBLE DIGGER Thanks brother, make sure no one orders this bro. Kids are going to get hurt
Did you try shaking and kicking it? ... "Keep the stickers" =)
Thanks again.
ok first i gotta get a camera and someone to come film ive never filmd myself while flying lol! but even today we had a nice 50 degree day so i took it up again and pushed it in high speed went threw all 3 batteries i have for this bird without one hicup and believe me i was very nervous but i cruised about 100 meters in all directions while maintaining about a 50 meter height! i will say she dont stop very well but she did stop with no toilet bowling or anything! i had one freak out when it took off by its self but it ended up just being the low battery fail safe and returned it right home! so hopefully this weekend Donny i can get some help recording and ill take a video of how i did the calibration dance and her flight because im actually amazed at how stable she really is! ill also show the type of shielding i used over the gps module! thanks again hope your doing well with your recovery!
bangnhard that would be awesome bro and a lot of people will be wanting to see your mod to fixing it. Thanks and let me know when you do.
Thanks for sharing this 👍 ❗
John Wedrall thanks John and please share this so we my stop some kids from receiving this for Xmas. That way no one will get hurt, Exspecialy kids. Thanks brother.
Its in the calibration try it
Wow I just bought this wonky thing and I figure to use it for parts for my other Symas x8 series. Dandahermit
Thanks Dan for stopping by
Fabulous drone
RCSaylors example did similarly, makes a minimum of 4 approx same results. Quite amazing that Syma released it, clearly a case of the marketing section overruling the tech guys.
Amen to that, thanks
Why do some ppl call drones/quadcopters, birds... I don’t get it
30 years of flying gliders and rc planes, I was used of calling those birds. But Obviously you’re just trolling my channel and give me a hard time. God bless you
good job
