Spray bottle apple juice and jack daniels every so often spritz them or just the juice. Also make char siu ribs make the marinade and glaze at the end with brown sugar make them sweet.
With beef ribs, you keep the membrane on, so the ribs remain intact. With pork ribs, you remove the membrane, so the seasoning can penetrate. The pork ribs won't fall apart. Cheers, Quang! 👍👍✌️🇨🇦
Great job Quang!!! Those ribs looked great and they looked like they had good texture! With a few tweaks like spraying the OJ or a mixture of liquid while smoking (just watch the sugar) and adding the bbq sauce at the end might give a better product. Also how you wrap could make the difference. At the end of the day it’s what you like but just wanted to offer a few tips. I have a Weber Summit and I love to smoke on it. Again Great job❤
If you want to use the orange juice to keep the moisture, buy a spray bottle and spritz the ribs as they’re smoking. It keeps the moisture and infuses the orange flavor into the ribs.
Looks good bro. Next time you can just score the silver skin if you don't want to pull it off. That way your seasoning can penetrate the other side. For spare ribs just use the 3-2-1 method to smoke. Makes them waaaaay more tender. You dont need parchment paper either, foil alone is perfect.
As a German, I really love that you're making lovely pork ribs. Many "food content creators" take a step back from delicious pork (well, don't wanna get into it too deeply), but if you have access to good pork meat, it's really awesome... 🤤🤤🤤👍🏼
Been watching for years and still seem to amaze me brother. Keep up the great cooking and smoking. Try smoking tri-tip. its real common down here in Cali.
Very nice, Quan Tran !!! 👌 My only suggestion would be to cook the spare ribs at a little higher temp for a little longer to render all that fat. Makes for a juicer ribs kn the end.
I think one of the big bbq places sprays apple cider vinegar on their bbq. Not sure why or at what point because I watch far too many bbq videos and they’ve mushed in my head. I thought the mustard was a good idea. I think you gotta play to find your own style or signature. Fish sauce? Blasphemy!😂❤
110 feels like it's on the low side. I'd recommend wrapping the meat in foil with butter and liquid smoke, then tossing it in at about 130 for a few hours, or until a toothpick goes through the meat with no resistance. But really it depends on the size of the meat itself and the grill you use, as well as what you actually want. Me personally, I prefer meat that falls off the bone. One of the first things you should do is get to know your grill. Every inch of it, from the weak spots where the heat radiates out the metal the most all the way down to the air gaps, and even where the heat is the most focused on the inside. Know your grill. Smoking and grilling is a sensuous artform and the more passion you put into it, the better your meat comes out. Giggity.
9 44..... Not gonna lie, boiling the ribs is the cheapest option, though. I never had a smoker, so I had to bake mine for 4 hours or so before it went on the grill.
sooooo bombs quang looks freakin great man, i do would recommend to add butter, brown sugar, and whatever bbq sauce or honey/maple syrup while wrapping the ribs in foil and TRUST ME!! literally falls off the bone and keeps it very moist and tender
Suggestion: pull the ribs after 3 hours. Wrap in foil, but add some butter and brown sugar. Smoke for another 2 hours wrapped. Then, uwrap ribs, add sauce (or not), and go for another hour ( or until 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Ypu might have to bump up temp to abt 250 Fahrenheit if you want "some" bark. If you don't like the bark, no use in trying TX ribs...cuz the bark is what they use as a guide. Good luck!
BTW...never understood why you used to boil ribs. But you always swore they were delish, so I never bothered to say anything. Boiling them loses all the pork flav. Smoking is the way to go.
@@SacOrcas Smoking meat means it tastes like 90% smoke. Which is okay if that's what you want. Some people like to taste more meat, not the heat. This is why Hank Hill likes propane.
PTSD? Boy you destroy words and acronyms 🤦♀️, Google these words and acronyms. Food Looks good. I have the biggest Traeger they make, I need to get a smaller one for smaller cooks … Good video
Would love to know more about smoking ribs! Any tip would be greatly appreciated
Make "Beef Ribs" next. Or Tomahawk Steak. Or Wagyu Steak.
YES!!!! Come to HOUSTON, TEXAS!!!!!

Will Smith gonna slap that rib outta your mouth.
5 44..... Daaaammmn, that cut sooooo clean. I know that knife is nice and sharp, but I can tell how tender that meat is, just by the glide.
4 09..... Nice choice. Most places do some type of vinegar, but I like fresh acids, tbh.
Thanks for sharing ♥️😋.. blessings to you and your beautiful family 🤗

Next I would suggest you smoke a beef rib, it’s a thing of beauty!!
Can’t wait to see what else you gonna smoke. 😀

Looks delicious, I like the skin on the back. What you think about finishing them off back in the Traeger, big difference than in the oven, right?
Try some hot and cold smoked fish.
Baby back ribs are way better than beef ribs, that’s my preference
I will have to do beef next and see
Pellet smokes are easy as shiet. Try smoking dinosaur beef ribs next time. It’s the best!
Baby dragon ribs? Nice
Do oxtail next
Some people score the bottom so you can rub the seasoning in deeper.
I will do this next time. Thank you for this suggestion my friend!

You ate quang
After eating each of the ribs, are you going to leave the membrane on or cut it off when you make ribs in the future?
Leave it on for sure. It’s like a crispy chip at the end of it all
Quang Pork or beef 🤔
Just need patience brother and it’s a lot easier on a pellet smoker.
Thank you for this tip my friend
Yo quang, would love to see you collab with Mel(darksideofthegrill) again now that you’re smoking meats!!
Try a ham or whole shoulder.
