Cat Mama Mochi "Babysitting" ( Week 6)

When Mochi became pregnant, she had difficulty assuming this position because of her growing belly, so she had stopped sitting like that for a while. Soon after giving birth, Mochi was happily resuming her favorite sitting position, often times even preferring baby Marshy to nurse in that position. A beautifully comical scene to witness.
Now an update on Marshmallow. At 6 weeks old, Marshy continues to provide countless hours of joy to us with her increasingly active and playful kitten behavior. She quickly picked up how to use the litterbox on her own, and has begun to wean onto solid kitten food. Marshmallow has grown to more than 10 times her birthweight during this week, and is such a sweetheart to MaMa Mochi and her humans.

The little car is a Hoot!! n Moochi doesn't look as if she's going to fit into it.. then you realise how much of her is fine, soft, fluffy fur.. n there's plenty of room for her n her dear little Marshmallow baby to cuddle in n play. xxx

Such an unusual way for a cat to sit. I was about to say that I would think it would be uncomfortable, but considering some of the contortionist positions cats get into, I don't think so. Marshy is so cute!!! The two of them together are so cute!!! It made me laugh when Mochi jumped in the rooftop of the car, I thought for sure she would squash the baby :-) So, so very cute!!
I could not have these Kitties living in my home. I would not get anything done !

I love it when my cat's comfortable. She also makes a kind of humming sound sometimes when she notices me.
