- FIRST CONCERT THAT ALMOST DIDN'T HAPPEN // MOVING TO THE BAY? // BEASTON FAMILY VIBES SUMMER 2023. WE ALMOST DROVE 2 1/2 HOURS FOR NOTHING. AS SOON AS WE GOT INTO THE CONCERT WE WERE TOLD TO EVACUATE AND SIT IN OUR CARS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. LUCKILY THE STORM PASSED, @WalkerHayes STUCK IT OUT AND PUT ON AN AMAZING FIRST SHOW FOR THE KIDS. WE ARE VERY MUCH FEELING LIKE WE DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE THE BAY WHEN SUMMER IS OVER, PROBLEM IS WE DON'T WANT THE KIDS TO CHANGE SCHOOLS AND WE ALSO LOVE OUR OTHER HOUSE. WE ARE FEELING SUPER BLESSED BY THIS DILEMMA BUT ALSO VERY CONFLICTED.. WHAT WOULD YOU DO??
I LOVE THAT WE HAVE THESE MOMENTS ON CAMERA TO BE ABLE TO SHOW THE KIDS WHEN THEY ARE OLDER. I THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH JOY IT BRINGS ME WHEN I WATCH SOME HOME VIDEOS OF MYSELF WHEN I WAS A KID AND IT IS REALLY SUCH A GIFT TO HAVE, TO BE ABLE TO SEE THE SIMILARITIES BETWEEN YOURSELF AND YOUR OWN KIDS.WE HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS VLOG AND PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE!!! I feel like if you moved to the Bay, it wouldn't be as special if you lived there all the time. What makes it special is that you can spend your summer there and make special memories. I'm with Tiff, kids need roots.

The Bay House is filled with summer fun that comes along with living in a beach town. Back in PA you have created such a beautiful full time home base. You have a lot more space with everyday structure that school, dance, sports, and all the Holidays provide. I say keep living your best life with both houses!

Here's the weigh in you didn't ask for 😆 we have houses near -both- of your houses and here is what I've observed over our 3 years of owning our bay house. - I am a summer girl through & through! Hate to see it end! Love having the escape to go from house to house all year long, it truely gets me out of any rut I'm in with getting too into routine and it's SUCH a blessing to have both. - Fall is so so beautiful in PA and also down the shore but I would miss the grass and trees so much. - the winter here is bitter cold ... don't even go outside and with so many less places to go it gets very isolation. Esp once all the neighbors shut their houses down for the winter (most don't use their houses in the winter) - the weather is extreme, lots of flooding, but you don't really ever get a good snow storm because it turns mostly to rain on the coast. - also, to have access to a sitter so easily here would be hard not to have if we moved down the shore. Not to say I don't want to some day, but with little ones it is certainly less isolating/amazing to always have an escape/get to go wherever it's nicest whenever we want!
I do homeschool so we literally can be at either house whenever which helps, but wheb I didn't we still did every weekend down the shore into November when it got really rainy, grey and cold
Side note - you are still riding that high of it being so new and the extreme improvement in your quality of life with the boat and the beach/ect. But you will feel just as great to come home, too, once that wears off! I feel so home at both houses now which took a couple years!

It's much easier to change schools now than when they are older and it becomes just about impossible. If your hearts are really there at the bay then you will never be truly content back at the other house. You'd be giving up your gym, fireplace, basement theater and yard, so much to consider.
Wait and see what it’s like there in the winter, make sure you still like it, etc.
Here to convince, move to the bay! We moved down here almost 3 years ago now and we LOVE it down here. It’s such a great family oriented community and so nice when there isn’t summer traffic. The schools are great too. I was nervous moving so far south but it really is great, you get the best of both worlds. We’re on the mainland. It’s so nice being able to drive over to LBI whenever we want summer or winter. Dooo it 😁
The kids are still young enough to adjust to a new school! I say as long as it’s before middle school, they’ll be good. You guys look so happy at the bay house! ❤
I think over time it will be really fun to have both houses. As long as you can financially keep up both houses, I say her both. Gives you options of where you wanna be at different times. It gives your life a sense of adventure and gives you all a change of scenery.
Tiff! I could hear the emotion in your voice about moving full time to the bay! I believe in trusting your instincts, if that’s where your families happiness is then take a leap of faith. You got this mama! Before you know it all your babies will be grown and all you will have are memories! You won’t regret it ❤
Just be very happy with two homes there are lots of people with nothing. Both homes are lovely but life isn't one big holiday. Love watching you all making memories.
Summers at the bay, yes! But fall and winter are gonna be amazing! The kids have roots, you're their roots. Changing schools might go a little easier for them because they have all the cool things, including cool parents. But I feel you on that, our kids were raised in the military. Many blessings wished for you either way you decide. She already said bay house is home.
We live in the Midwest and grew up with a ‘lake house’. It was the best escape and once we all graduated, my parents moved out full time. They wanted us to have the opportunity of our school district, community (instead of seasonal friends) and access to everything during our school years. It made for amazing summers growing up and now our kids get to experience it every time they visit grandma ❤
SELL AND MOVE!!! 🥰❤️ life is too short. Make the move for where you will all be happiest.

Yes, definitely move to the Bay. It's easier for kids to move when they are young, not when they are older. Home is where your heart is. You can always get a house with all the amenities you have now somewhere else.
I love watching the bay house vlogs, but I absolutely love love love the beautiful home you guys have. I love watching all the decorating, cooking and cleaning videos. I have to say that I'd be really sad to see you guys move to the bay. It's beautiful and peaceful and all but I agree that kids need roots. Bay House is nice for summer time and family gatherings.
You were all real champs for stickin it out and waiting for the concert to start. So glad you got to stay and hear your favorite song! It is always an adventure spending time with the Beaston's! Thanks for taking us all along, you are such a special family and we love you!
Life is short, do what you feel is right. The kids are still very young so as long as they have both of you, that is what roots and stability means for kids. We just moved states for a better life for our kids, so I understand the hesitation. I’m sure you guys will look into the different areas and where the good schools are. All things to consider.
I could definitely see y'all moving there full time Tiff. I know as a mom though, I side with Tiff on needing to look at all of the specifics like school ratings, sports available to the kids, local gyms for you, preschool for Evie, etc. All the things you have at home, you would also need to have at the bay house.

Love the Bay house, but it doesn’t have room for the playground or the trampoline. I think you guys are living the absolute dream having both homes! ❤️ So to me the solution is HOMESCHOOLING! 😂😊 That way you can be at either home for as long as you want! ❤️❤️

Both homes are beautiful and if living by the bay makes you and your family happy then Do it!! I would at least try it for little while and see if you like living there full time and if not you can always go back to your home home.
I could hear it in your voice, Tiffany, and see it in your emotions that the bay has your heart. I, too, feel that if that is where your heart is you should take the leap and do it. Life is so short, especially the time that we have with our young kids. I think you will find it freeing to take that leap and I don't think you will regret it one bit. On another note, if you homeschooled, you all would have the freedom of bouncing back and forth between whichever house suited you best at the time. I think you would be an awesome homeschooling mama!

Give it a try at the Bay for a full year. You can decorate the boat for the holidays too 😊The kids are still young enough for the school change without too many friendships being lost, or big academic differences.

Tanner will adapt ( and other kids too of course)! It’s just one more move and then that will be your forever home!! If my husband and I could work from home and could financially pull it off, we would 💯 live at the Bay house!!
Honestly, if you have the funds and your hearts at on the Bay, GO FOR IT. Life is too short to not be fully happy where you reside. ❤
Sounds good in theory but moving schools and friends sucks. I’ve done it more then once and hated it. Also it’s nice to have a summer place to go to but if you are there all year long it might loose some of that magic. Maybe keep it as is for now and see before making such a drastic and life changing move for your littles
I think y’all should give the bay house a chance. And then if it don’t work out you can say you tried :) also how sweet are your babies! They did so good sitting in the car for so long waiting out the storm! ❤

I can’t say Thank you enough. I have watched you too grow up and the the young woman and men your kids have became. You loved your old house and I love your new house but I can tell having your bay house has brought back something in y’all’s eyes and your words all talk. I know my 50 year is showing but I have loved watching this summer with you guys. It had me going back and watching old blogs from the old house. I laughed and cried all over again. It’s like your heart is at the bay and your kids are so loving that what ever y’all decide you guys would be fine. I do agree that would be cool to watch if you could have a farm and bay together. This summer Tiffany you had me finishing projects around my house and I had my husband cleaning or decluttering his stuff. One day my husband and I would like a house on the lake. 30 years of marriage and a 30and 24 year old has us wanting the peace in life. Chris and Tiffany you can have it all now. Good luck. Now woukd be the time to consider a move full time. They are still so young and not in MS or HS. Is there a good full time community at the bay for you all and the kids? How are the schools? Things to consider. Talk to those that live full time at the bay for opinions.
Okay, I'm gonna throw a curve ball. Move to the bay while you sell current house, market it crazy good right now for selling. Dont look at the bay as full time. I think that is def your family vaca home. When market falls, because it has to sooner than later, go buy that farm house! The kids have plenty of time to put down roots, their still babies! DO IT!!!
Listen to your heart. If your heart says the bay is your home then that's where you belong. You're great parents. Moving is ok ❤️

Well Lbi is in the Garden state NJ, i live here about 30 mins from LBI in the pinelands where things grow like crazy. Nj is where the ocean meets the pines!!

I love your other house! Personally I would go back to your old house...but that's just me. I also hate moving, and changing sports teams, doctors, schools, etc. But it would be easier with kids still young.
We had to move suddenly right before the start of school when ours were in K, 1st, & 7th. Everyone did just fine. We ended up where we were meant to be. The best neighborhood and school there could be for our kids. I loved our old neighborhood and would have been happy there but we are HOME where we are.

If you want to grow a garden trees etc. You have to be there to take care if it.
When my grandparents retired they moved to a house on the lagoon. They had the boat life as well as a peach tree and a huge garden on the one side of their house. They literally lived the dream and are memories I’ll never forget growing up🥰
Same here Tiff. My parents divorced when I was young and i had to move around a lot and I really want my kids to grow up in one place. Ahhh I'm from Mobile and I love that song too!

Oh tell the kids to try and egg in vinegar and leave it for 24 hours it will pickle the egg and it kinda turn to a rubber texture the longer you leave it the more it does. I did this as a science experiment as a child❤ I love you guys such a sweet family

Tan man you are a cool dude. I think if you want to move its best when tje kid's are smaller. After they get to jr high its a little harder. Pray about it and follow your gut !!

We have moved our kids SEVERAL TIMES and I do have to say kids are ver resilient. Also, it was much easier when they are in elementary school than later years. Now we also had 2 homes one in town and one on a lake and we sold the house in town to live full time on the lake. I have to say I love the lake in the summer but in the winter I miss the friends we have back in town that we don’t see due to living a distance.. Iowa snow you don’t want to drive in that. I would keep both if you can if you do need to sell then keep the bay house.
