- Potion Craft Part 19 - though if you have a DNR tattoo, it might get complicated. Not sure what the purpose was for shifting around the location on the map, but at least it's still got that legendary spiral.

I love how the ingredients' names are based on what kind of potions they're helpful with, like firebloom leaving to the fire potion, water bloom to the freezing one, etc., kind of feels like they were named before alchemists figured out how to see the map or something, like three fireblooms makes a potion that sets things on fire
Thats what the elemental affiliation is about.
Map is divided to 8 elements:
Air - up
Earth - down
Fire - left
Water - right
Magic - up-right
Life - down-right
Death - down-left
Boom - up-left
Same for ingridiens

@@reesewhittington6778 oh yeah the lv3 libido effect should also go with the lv2 necromancy effect i keep on forgetting the necromancy fml.
Basically revives yourself, just in case.
I'd like to think him "haggling" is just him talking to distract them while he removes his money or the other person's money so they "replace it" lol
I would actually like to see a fishing game in this style, that one customer fishing the most absurd fish sounds like foreshadowing to me

I think that haggling actually represents small talk.
The costumers get to so awkward and scared that they pay more just to leave quicker.
But what happens when it goes against you?
What happens then? Them getting angry because you got words or facts wrong?
I feel that a necromancy potion with a lust mushroom in it would have some weird side effects and a lot of emotional baggage.
That specific Necromancy potion brings back memories of trauma, even if it isn’t your trauma
"A lust for life"
Alternatively: "Hyper specific rigor mortis"
I like the challenges given by the customers, makes you improve your recipes to become more efficient as you play the game
Yeah, i felt like multi potions were only for alchemy machine and fun in the first one and now you get paid more to play better
Trying to make potions with only one material is the ultimate task, but damn, is it satisfying.
I had to make a complex, edgeside of the map, potion with 2 mandatory conditions and 1 bonus condition and sold it for ~5700 gold. Best customer ever.
The Devs on the steam page did announce about new potion bases, witch act as new maps with new effects!
I already got oil so far, which has an own new map and different obstacles and potion rotation positions. Some potions are easier to make with oil than water.
I bet they'll add alcohol as a base too.

Actually, it's possible to brew strong potion of strength with just one mudshroom. Whirlpool teleportations are quite handy, especially for multi-effect potions, explore them if you have spare ingredients.
The second time I brewed strength, I had a few mushrooms handy and I wondered if one could do. I tried, missed the lvl3 by a hair strand, but I knew it was possible.
I fixed it up awhile ago, it took a couple tried but goddamn is it satisfying brewing a potion with one ingredient and one only.
I wonder if some of these customers sell their stuff for less or buy stuff for more because they just want to get away from Tyler’s haggling conversations XD

Lust mushroom is essential to necromancy
it looks like the "entrance" to necromancy is the very thin wall of bones that you have to cross, which seems vaguely familiar from my memory of the first time around

He actually has made the philosopher's stone before in 0.4.8. Not sure if the recipe has been made harder since though.

Helpful hint ahead: If whirlpools can work with water to position yourself almost any place on the whirlpool, just add water until you get to the edge and spin it until you get to where you need to be.

13:15 - DO you need to start from scratch? With the 5 strength potions can't you start with a good recipe 3 strength, then get the others as needed for them to cancel out one or two of the three strength as needed? (so for example you start with a strong strength potion, then get 2 iron skin and finally 1 slow to cancel out the third level of strength)
Tyler, your role play with the Townsfolk and Merchants in this games gives me genuine happiness. Keep it up, it’s quite entertaining too!

I'm currently at philosopher stone and salt, just looking at the potions needed gives me a headarch. But I saved all special potions for Albedo to Rubedo and the void salt, moon salt and sun salt.
@@griffinhatchling yeah, though at least for me, the end game economy is like super easy? You shouldn't be lacking in ingredients or recipe pages, I even have a surplus that I cannot organize lol, I guess endgame for the salts it's more about tediousness, I feel like what makes the end game shine is actually more about the special requests
