Sorin solved this adding a transistor to avoid the resistance of liquid damaged power button :) better to try other keys of keyboard to be sure all are working
I have a different problem on same machine. AC power keeps turning off intermittently. When I plug charger in with machine turned off sometimes the battery won't charge. Other times it will run the laptop and charge all the way to 100%. Often AC Power will go off at 60%, stay off for 20 mins and then come on again. Charger is chucking out 19 Volts all the time. I have replaces the battery and charger input jack but issue still there. Any thoughts?
Thank you, this was exactly the issue I was having. As soon as I disconnected the keyboard and bridged the power pins the machine came to life.

Those gloves you wear, are they any specific types?
These gloves are very soft and comfortable compared to many types I've had in the past. These gloves are: Unigloves Zero Advanced Series.
