@arnold jayeola he is the strongest, the only person that beats him with no contest is King Hassan, everyone else would have a challenge even if they are in the Grand classification, he could win against Solomon if he was 100% prepared and at full power, he also took on Kiara and destroyed her after using half his treasury.
He was thrown to the side in the Stay Night's simply because he was the antagonist of 2 of them and a side character in the other, Fate had to nerf their own character in order to make it interesting, but when Grand Order came along we got even deeper into the lore of Gilgamesh, and with Fate/Extella there was a bigger showcase of his intimidating power. If he isn't the strongest then he is clear easy spot at the top 3 behind King Hassan and Solomon

The more I see Enkidu, the more I wish he were the Grand Lancer and not Roma....Even mythologically, Enkidu IS the lance. That’s Grand Lancer right there. Besides, he was the only one who could stand up to Gil. I’m pretty sure that Y-boy stance would turn into a grovel if Roma were to engage Gil.
Eh, even as an Enkidu fan, he doesn't really have anything to do with lances at all. That's just a Fate thing, there's absolutely nothing in connecting him to spears or lances in mythology. Meanwhile Quirinus' name stems from "spear".

Roma in the story is the father to one of if not the most influential civilisations of all time. Theres a reason that Romulus isn’t weak to Enuma Elis, creation of Rome is considered as important or more important than the start of civilisation caused by Gil. No idea why his grand form is weak to it though

It depends, if you have other aoe lancer then level up enkidu, if not karna. Enkidu is better for solos and karna for farming

No, DOT will not kill you if you defeated the enemy before the turn end. But if Yang was alive at the end of that turn, the DOT would have killed enkidu before Yang’s turn started.

short story, Enkidu was created by god to punish Gil's misbehave, but they end up become a best buddies and Ishtar was the main reason for it demise. If u want the full story, u can read The Epic of Gilgamesh. It is an interesting story
