As a mezzo, thank you! I have the range for the original, but it's not so easy to belt, you know? Also, I'd like to request a higher key for Who I'd Be from Shrek the Musical! I've always wanted to sing that song and it's just too low!
@Brianna C Reacts Usually a voice teacher will voice type you but you could find out by finding your full range and looking which voice type has a similar one to yours!
The highest note in the original is only an Eb, even an normal alto should be able to hit that

As someone who do not have an extensive range, seems like my voice could not reach the low notes at the beginning? But I do know that though I am more comfortable with the original key, I just cannot belt for life 😩
