Love this video and all the colors you used. Thank you! I personally am not on Instagram, so really appreciate when you post here on RUclips. Hope you will continue to do so!
I've really enjoyed your videos. I've decided to also put my pages into a notebook as well. Also, your voice is so rich & delicate. Consider adding an asmr hashtag-you'll get lots of new hits!
I love the idea, I guess most of us have those forever empty sketch books. They are cheap and look so good! Beautiful prints, I hope you have the courage to tear them up one day 😅. I'll use your idea, thanks Susanne!
What a great idea! I just pulled about 6 sketchbooks that I didn't love out of my rotation of sketchbooksto use as good scrap paper but I didn't think of printing on them in the book. I love that idea! I can keep my collage background organized! Yay!
I know enough to not store prints in direct light/sunlight so they are in various places tucked away and I am always surprised when I sift back through my prints and can see that they are all faded. And it seems like purples and greens have a dull appearance.
@@SusanneRose thanks for asking…interestingly, I use more artist grade paints now but early on, I was buying a lot all purpose craft paints bc they are super cheap and they offer so many more colors. But I don’t think they are that great on paper. Lesson learned 😊
Help! I love this idea so got my gelli plate out to play with today and paints but every time I try and take a print my paper is sticking to the plate! What am I doing wrong? I wait until the paint is dry for one coat, then do the next coat and put the paper on but my paper is sticking to the plate and the first coat with the stencilled background is not coming off! I am ruining my sketchbook.
@@SusanneRose I have used my sketchbook (Seawhite, I think), assorted book pages (which can turn out cool if text is left on and it comes up with the next print), watercolour paper 350gsm and copy paper and has happened with all types. This is with a gel plate I got in a Papercraft Society box.
you are printing bout sides of that sketch book. Are you planing to use that print for something more like cards, collages anything... so you have a problem. Find a cheaper book it all depend on name, quality is not always equal to the price. Especially that you are from states you have a weary large choice on about anything. joust knead to explore not just buying online. I don't have weary large choice of art material. Lucky us we still don't have Amazon, they wont to charge me shipping for small item that cost 4$, shipping is 80$... hm.. .suddenly i don't knead anything from Amazon
??? I don't understand your comment. I love to have double sided printed paper. I am not from the States and my sketchbooks are not from Amazon, they are from Kunst & Papier, a German brand. I link to Amazon supplies, because I get a really tiny amount if someone buys stuff through my link. Not sure if you know how much work it is to make these videos....
Great video, thank you and what a fabulous idea to gel print into a journal and keep all the prints tidy! Now why didn’t I think of that ??!!! ❤
Happy you like the idea😊❤️
I really like the idea of using sketchbooks to gel print on. Keep those posts coming on RUclips Susanne.
Thank you 😍

Thank you so much 🥰 What a nice tip! I will definitely try it! Happy you are enjoying the videos!
Great idea. I have a spiral pad with paper I don’t like. This is a great way to use it and have a stash of collage papers. Thank you!
You are welcome! Enjoy prining your paper pad!

Happy you like the idea! I now bought some extra books just to print in them LOL... it's not that I don't have enought paper already at home...
What a great idea!! I have so many empty sketchbooks that are just sitting on the shelves doing nothing. This is a great way to make use of them.
That's perfect 🥰
Genius
Thanks 😃
Do you use those extra papers you clean the brayer and stencils on as collage pieces as well? Love watching your process!
Happy you like it! Yes, I use those as well, often they turn out very interesting!

I never experienced that. Which paint are you using?

This happened when I used Marker and Bristol paper. Maybe try another paper... Which sketchbook do you have and which brand is your gel plate?
