The Attuned difficulty should be a reasonable challenge for those who have beat the game, but the Ascended and Radiant versions get a speed buff which make it significantly tougher.

I’d personally shorten those pillar sections, but regardless having the machinery appear is a cool and clever idea

It's no wonder that only the zoomers seem to find it remotely amusing. But hey, if you enjoy sounding like an outdated meme, go ahead and keep saying "bruh." The rest of us will be over here using words that actually have some substance.
They did a really good job with incorporating all the machinery from crystal peaks into the fight, and your music choice is a nice touch as well.
I don’t like that there a dedicated pillar section, I feel like just having the boss in the arena all the time and having him incorporate the pillars into his attacks would make the fight more fun and consistent
Indeed. Having him stomp the ground to make the pillars down would have been a more natural integration into the fight mechanics

This is very Mario-esque in how there is a pillar phase and a phase where you can attack whatever.
I really like the extra dashing around he can do and the fact he can actually aim the laser a bit too. I love the inclusion of the pillars and conveyor belt, that's a really cool idea. I think having the first pillar section be much shorter would be a good idea, it breaks up the fight for too long imo. Overall I like it though, looks like a more fun boss to fight now.

Might also allow the boss some customization room, like the option to customize the length of the stomper section, cause it does seem a little bit lengthy. I just didn’t notice it too much while testing.
I like how they used the mechanics from other things in crystal peaks and added it to the boss👍
A much cooler fight than the standard, and the tunic ost was a great choice!
I like how the pillar sections seem fairly straight forward but have a lot of room for difficulty with the variable heights. Also the additional crystals were a nice touch!
This might be the coolest modded boss I've seen in a long time. I love seeing really creative concepts while still maintaining a fair fight. Not simply a test of skill or an impossible meme (no shade on those) but a fresh and fun idea.
Making the head vulnerable instead of pogoable is a really nice touch because you need to be above him quite often in the fight

I think the use of orange crystals for its attacks is. Sry creative. Not only does it stand out but it also shows the infection in a neat way.
Tunic soundtrack over this boss is amazingly well fit
I would decrease time of stompers and add some og lasers back, anyway super cool incorporation of whole area.

the ceiling pillar sections are really long, considering the boss is off screen during them, but everything else is SO cool - the fact that the floor starts moving halfway through, there's mobile ground hazards that you need to pay attention to, AND the ground can change direction??? not to mention the music sounds great!!

Seems like a pretty cool boss. Those pillar sections are a little too long I think but it’s still a very cool boss and much better than what is in the base game
When i first saw "No voice to cry suffer" at the Abyss, I felt pretty sad for this little guy, so thanks for not hurting it
Don't really like boss battles where parts of the fight are basically just waiting (can't do any damage to the boss), The pretty cool design nonetheless.
Something id really like in silksong is incorporating the environment more in boss fights like this

Really cool fight! Pillar sections are my only gripe... I hate boss battles that have long intangible phases. Feels like a copout and cheap way to lengthen a fight.

This fight is almost perfect in my opinion. The only thing that brings it down is the transition phase. Although a very cool idea, it comes off as a little unfair, and can easily one-hundred-to-zero you by itself, especially the second time it happens. It might be improved by making it shorter, making the crushers come down in patterns instead of randomly, or making them come down more slowly to give the player more time to react
To add onto that, if the crushers were slowed down, it would be nice to have the boss in the arena during the crusher phase so that the player can still deal damage to the boss. Not sure what the boss should do onscreen during this time though.
@@noahstobbe9814 It'd be kind of fun if the boss would periodically show up inside one of the crushers where you can hit it, sort of like the final boss of sonic one. That would explain how it's operating the crushers and make it a stage of the fight rather than an onslaught that you just have to survive.
it seems really odd to me that fire hates elder wu because he disappears constantly but calls this a "great boss"
@@ajvinoski6924 Well, this boss disappears at two designated points in the fight that are triggered by getting it down to a certain amount of health, where as Elder Hu can disappear as little or as many times as he wants depending on your luck
@@portalmech4770 i mean thats also true, but i feel like if you timed the amount of time you have in each fight where you can't attack the boss, this one might actually have more time even with the worst of luck.

I agree with some other comments that the pillar sections are too long but other than that its a sick mod
i feel like the pillars would make more sense if they were more like Grimm's spike attack, just one cycle where a random selection come down, then back to the fight.
Genuinely the simple idea of combining the Crystal Peak machinery with the Crystal Guardian did wonders to this fight
The pillar crushing segment really reminds me of the Sonic 1 final boss

That looks really cool, my first thought would've been for him to throw out mirriors around for the laser to bounce on, but maybe that's a tad cliche.
I like the concept.
Id rather make that it spams much more lasers from sky so its actually important to avoid them.
For his hand beam i definitely see that if he would shoot is close to himself he would get pushed as to not make it easy for players to simply go behind him and would only use it if hes on the side of arena than in center where logically the hand beam is easiest, also he could shake to drop crystal spikes that if they would stick on wall they could grow into Spiky balls that would hurt you.
But this version is also good though im not big fan of the pillar sections

I don’t hate on the dedicated pillars, the fact that they have two modes and each mode has two speeds could offer some interesting combinations. I also understand why that prohibits the boss existing within the same space concurrently based on the code. It’s honestly a great use of marginally used features from the zone that requires some effort to mitigate extra damage. I think that these mild aggravations are a positive rather than simply ramping up rate of beams or screams, it adds variety. It’s also feels slightly more random than Elder Hu’s pancake menu.
So much better now xD mods in HK are so fun

Hmm. I think the main thing to fix about fights like this are the jumps. They just don't have any signaling and can ruin you.
Adding complication to that seems to make it worse. But I like the idea of the machinery!

Hi fire, i just found a bug in the game, i was practicing against pure vessel and at the begining i was jumping, then i did a cyclone slash, i landed then moved to the left and meanwhile i was spinning and moving pure vessel screamed and i started sliding to the left without control, then when the fight began it started normally and i could move

As someone who can't even do the normal crusher sections of Peaks, this is my nightmare.
WOW. It's an actual boss now. I love how it's using the machinery, but I feel it goes off screen for a bit too long.
I hope other underwhelming bosses will get similar treatment in the future.

I don't really like the pillar parts. Theh are giants attacks that just cover random sections kf the screen while the boss is unkillable. It's like an Uumui fight but also a reaction/memory check.
I'd have pillars on the screen the whole time, with the crystal guadian shooting at them to activate them.

Isnt the pillar part basically just elder hu?
Honestly I think they should have kept the laser beam instead of the crystals I think they still should have kept the crystal hunter theme with when the crystals hit a surface they expand and make an obstacle that's difficult to dodge so you have to hit it with the nail I think they should just add that little feature to the laser beam but the spikes stack on top of each other so basically every single laser beam the guardian is just bringing into space
By the way not having The ceiling lasers when the guardian screams and instead makes crystals that do damage I suppose Fall from the sky is a way more intense good harder if you're not paying attention but easier if you are doing hyperactive paying attention crap
