Love that final spin-around shot 😄 Maybe incorporating the Turn A's Moonlight Butterfly was enough for it to earn the Gundam title from G-IT Labs, or maybe something about its performance? Either way it's an awesome design, I'm super excited to build mine. Always excited to see G-Reco designs get some love. Good to know the skirt funnels have a ton of tiny parts to manage!
What they did and didn't take from the Rose of Hermes is always ambiguous, especially when they removed any mention of "Gundam" in the movies. Always felt a bit off, but it is what it is
Your original video on this pretty good kit was also pretty good, but to update and re-review the kit shows passion that you don't see in most gundam/gunpla channels thank you MJ for helping me make the decision to get this kit
I gotta say though even if ippei gyobu didnt design grassley suits in wfm this suit really gives off some aura like the beguir beu and michaelis Prolly due to the color scheme
The only surprise they got for us a big dick Bandai cannot bother updating the F91, Turn A and G Reco kits because SEED is more markets and profitable Edit: The G Self got updated articulation and color separation but it's a Gundam base limited kit so have fun spending extra money on buyee
Man, I need reprints for this and all the other G-reco kits. Looking at those designs really make my modeler hands itchy to mess around them. I'd honestly buy multiples of this kit for those funnels alone to be used for kit bashing since they look so damn cool.
The G-IT Labs are quintessential Iron Man in their design concept, producing one unit per equipment they wanted to test. As a result, they're all focused in on one thing and one thing only
@@mj2005gundam Kind of, Lucifer and Seraphim is more of a black and brass with ash wings until it's version of the zero system goes off which is mixed with the PX system and maliciously sentient the more it draws on it.
G-lucifer couldve been a good candidate for a build custom givng it a gundam face and changing the skirt funnels into backpack and maybe some change to the feet (i dont trust bandai on this part tho, due to their tendency to turn feet into claws or whatever)
The mentioned G-Lucifer Chimaera did the face part already. Now it's just up to the Build writers to implement that properly into the series. That said, where's my HG Mack Knife Gradation?
Sisquide is a Gundam, and it only has a monoeye. What each series defines as a Gundam is different, and no one said it had to follow the conventions. That being said, I still disagree with them naming that a Gundam to begin with, especially when they actively avoided the name "Gundam" in the series.
It's not nearly as deadly as the Turn X, mostly because its body parts aren't funnels, and no one knows what its Moonlight Butterfly does besides looking flashy. Because screw continuity, no one knows whether this came before or after Turn A, both have been mentioned by official sources
His color scheme makes him look like Cooler
At least it's more colorful than the G-Lucifer Chimaera, that's for sure
"Cooler than Freezer? You must be ice cold!"

Prolly due to the color scheme
They are very similar
my first ever HG! really love the design
Great to hear!
Same
It's 2024, 10th anniversary of the G Reco series, can't wait to see what kind of surprises will Bandai give.
Or the lack thereof. Only time will tell

Like I told people, if they don't reprint the entire series for the 10th anniversary, they're definitely trying to sweep this one under the rug
Now if only G-Reco was reissued
If they don't reissue them for the 10th anniversary, I'm gonna flip
Real nice sticker placement
They did their best
Sweet colors and vey cool shape, really liking this one!
Ippei Gyoubu sure knows how to design cool units
@@mj2005gundam He absolutely has a unique style!
It would’ve been nice to see a moonlight butterfly effect piece with this kit.
Oh if only they were that generous back then
You can tell how very zaku-esque this kit is. However this is pretty much "just for show" kit especially with that huge fin funnel
The G-IT Labs are quintessential Iron Man in their design concept, producing one unit per equipment they wanted to test. As a result, they're all focused in on one thing and one thing only
This was my favorite HG kit in the G-reco line.
Didn't use to be the case, but it is up there now
I can never explain why but i Allways love this design
If I don't call it a Gundam like the marketing material wants me to, then I'd like it just as much
@@mj2005gundam id say they should make variant with a Gundam like head variant justto get the point a cross it IS A gundam

im not too hot on mack knife but the arms look cool. g-lucifer chimaera looks pretty good
Can you do a review for mgsd barbatos?
I'll think about it when I'm ready to take on more complex projects again
I really wish they'd reissue G-reco kits.
Best bet is that they reissue them for the 10th anniversary
I see a lot of g-witch flavor
Well, Ippei Gyoubu designed this as a futuristic unit, so yee
Now Imagine getting the kit for not 9million euro
Impossible outside of Hong Kong and Japan
A real gundam got 2 eyes,2 or 4 horns,and a beard.i wonder why they named this mobile suit a gundam🙄

This is what would happen if they decided to make a mass produce version of the turn x
