Why is Grand Wizard pointing at the camera?!
Backlund walked away - stage left. 😂😂

No, they didn't. Also, the Grand Wizard wasn't there.

Looking back although Bob was not the greatest interview but people were 100% behind him, great wrestler...miss the Grand Wizard! Interesting how heels & faces were inches away from each other during these interviews. A young 34 year old Vince Jr.

New Yorkers always enjoyed the "All American Boy" image that Backlund projected. That's why it came as no surprise when McMahon promoted his matches and it worked for quite a while.

Vince McMahon has brought wrestling downward. He should know better from the way wrestling use to be. Great creative talent, always great rivalries. Now its a joke.

Exact, promos weren’t the biggest deal back then. The in ring performances from before the bell to after it , were what really mattered. At this point, we weren’t sure how fake the product actually was yet. It was much more believable. Not like the current choreographed , high flying ballet where finishing moves have zero credibility.
