A little fun fact is that the album that this song is on was released in November of 2019 almost a month exactly before the first case of COVID

The song came out just two months before the first Covid 19 case was found. The band had to cancel their so called "Europandemic" tour because of the pandemic. They instead made this Music Video.
That wasn't the first, there was a COVID reddit that began in October, there was only a couple hundred ppl at the time and a bunch of interviews and news regarding this new mystery virus was being shared, there was also a big what the hell moment when hundreds were in the hospital and many dying to where the first video was played of a bunch of politicians saying they've decided to not ban any travel yet. This was the first big outroar I saw of it and it was before nearly anyone else knew what was coming.
"Scourge of the Offspring" is an amazing song that they just released a month ago. Quite melodic.
The album this song is from was released shortly before covid hit. The video was released after, and is what was produced during the lock downs. Been listening to these guys for a few decades now, Travis Ryan (The vocalist) is by far one of the best in the industry. Unmatched growl/roar.
They have tons of great singles throughout their discography. "To Serve Man" being one of their earliest. "Kingdom of Tyrants", "Regret and the Grave" or anything off of the album "Anthropocene Extinction" is worth a listen. There are too many more to name, but those are some of the highlights.
Cattle Decap is one of the best death metal bands out there. Off this album, "One Day Closer to the End of the World" is another great one. Also "Forced Gender Reassignment" from Monotlith of Humanity is a must listen.
The "Stankk Face" is real with this song for me.
I remember in 2021 during the lockdowns, I basically listened to music during work and hiked in the mountains all day after, and so I had the time to look through new bands. And then in late 2021 / early 2022, all the new (and old) metal bands I listened to at the time started releasing the new songs.
The metal game is so evolved now, and I love that there's always new bands and new songs to look forward to.

That is a copy and paste from another site. That said, I don't really subscribe to the whole overpopulation thing, personally, or really any of the bands pollical leans on most stuff. So regardless of how I feel about the band's political stances, the band and this song is pure fire. I love it!!
