The great thing about this era of monster movies was how the same actors played the same roles in so many. Part of the fun Them is one of my favourite guilty pleasure movies. It shows up on TCM every now and then
Can you imagine if Drive- Ins were opened again? It is IMPOSSIBLE! The lack of morals, civility, crime and hard drug use would shut a theater down the weekend it opened. Even when I was teen and we smoked pot we kept things cool, didn't blast our tunes, stayed in our space even if we were on the hood of the car or in lawn chairs, didn't scream at one another when we spoke- totally different world! And I'm first year Gen X, speaking from experience as a child I the early 70s, and years later as a teen, not from the 50s.
@@tinfoilmagnolia2546 And now isn't it wonderful the drive-ins have come back? At least where I live. With this pandemic, our state is giving this a shot, with distancing. And pre-ordering food before you get there. The movies will only be old ones.
Great classics. I love them all, except I've never seen the last one. The Giant Claw, the monsters body was great, but the head looked like a chicken. It still has me laughing when I re-watch it. Thank you for these.
Just to clarify, THEM! & Tarantula dealt with mutation by radiation. The Deadly Mantis was a revived prehistoric insect found in the Arctic & The Giant Claw was a weird alien from space.
I LOVE that Face on the Flying Creature in the movie "The Claw." I swear the face on it Totally Kills Me. It's like I can't get enough of wanting to really look at that thing, because it's really something to see. 🥰❤️😖😊😵❤️❤️❤️
The movie. I'm about to watch was made back in the 1950s I've seen it over 200 times it's called them it's about a giant radioactive ant pile the ants have been mutated and they are size of horses MD attack everybody one of the actress that plays in the movie happens to be the same man that played in the TV series Gunsmoke as Matt Dillon now that actor is James Arness James Arness is the brother of Peter Graves also known as Phelps and the TV series Mission Impossible TV series that aired back in the seventies it is a great movie to watch and I enjoyed every bit of it the movie called them is the best movie I've ever seen I like watching once in awhile and I'm planning on watching it tonight and I thank you for RUclips for having it cuz it makes me happy knowing one of the best films that I ever seen Grown Up it's still around thank you very much
This is my era. 😉 I wanted to know everything about everything. 🙃 The only movie scene that ever scared me was the shower scene from Psycho. Interesting read about its history & all those involved. ☮️💖🌻
Just THE thing for we who had to LIVE through it all! A perfect summing-up of Fifties life, all lived (as I recall it to have been) in Black & White! (It IS strange: I cannot remember there having been any color to it!) After viewing ALL of Broken Trout's movies, then do seek out "Matinee" starring John Goodman as the brains/producer and showman of B&W Sci-Fi of the early glory days. This will bring into sharp focus events that followed the above covered "THEM!!!" in his featurette entitled "MANT: Man Into Ant!" (This may be found right here on RUclips. The whole of Matinee may not be however, unless for charge but, if so doubtless-so it will be thought worth it, once viewed.) After viewing MANT, it will have been made clear as glass that . . . there is NO production quite like a Woolsey Production! . : .

One of my favorite 50s sci-fi movies. Been watching it since I was a kid.
Them and tarantula are among the very best of the science gone wrong movies .
True, you can't find Them anywhere and Tarantula you have to pay to watch. Both all time classics.
I was only 5 years old when I saw Them. It took a lifetime before something scared me more❤.

This is one of my all time favorite monster movies. Alas, it is never hardly shown anymore. Its not even listed on any horror forum.
This was one of the Most real & scary Movies when I was 10!! Loved it!!!!
I miss the drive in theaters, the smacks, and the movies.
The smacks, the brown paper bags full of buttered popcorn brought from home. But I digress.
@@BrokenTrout my family did that too, brought popcorn in those brown grocery bags. 😊😊

Fabulous film.
The horror never ends...😥
I really want to see this movie in full
Good God I miss the Drive Ins!
THEM is all time classic, nobody uploads it, ive only seen it on tv and its on a few times during Halloween. 😢

Please bring us the whole THEM movie!!!
I miss the old trailers where they would basic just show a condensed version of the movie!
Good old days
1950s was the Golden Age of Giant Monster Movies.
Better break out the RAID for these critters!
The Good Old Days of Drive In Theaters. Im 63 BTW 😉
Im 67 and they were just as good for me, first when my mom used to take us, then later when I got my drivers license. Great times.
THANK YOU
Natch, Lucy. Thanks a bunch kiddo. (your quite welcome).
Is this a COVID film? The first few minutes of the B&W film reminds me of 2020.
Takes me back all that screaming and useless gunfire!
Is there an audio problem on the Tarantula segment?
Yes.
Kris Kringle is there for a paycheque.
John Agar (tm) cannot stop them, Better RUN!
Them Remake movie needs to be part of the Monsterverse.
