Awesome to see the love for the old tourers/hybrid bikes! Really under-appreciated here. I have a Japanese made Shogun2000 ratty Rando bike that takes 35’s with fenders I need to do a video on 🥹 Love the Koga Miyatas too, there’s a brand here “Morrison” that were sold in lawnmower shops etc that had a link to them(not much info and can’t remember off the top of my head but there’s a bit of a write up somewhere). But the headtube “M” was the same as the Miyata one with the gear around it 👌
That shogun sounds cool! Ya I haven’t come across much koga-miyatas here in melb but nice bikes for sure. Wow! that’s interesting a lawnmower company had ties, maybe same manufacturer ?? 🤔🤔 thx for stopping by 💕
Love and respect to you and Toby.😊 This is what the everyday cyclist need of a chop and what every hobby mechanic dream of owning. Hope the shop's doing well. 😃🤙
Great vid and thanks for making me aware of Sunup cycles. I live just down the road but had no idea it was there! I have been looking for a new threaded headset for a '95 Shogun Metro SE. Sounds like Toby is the right man for the job.
Man, that's some sweet ass shops if I ever make it to Melbourne again I'll definitely have to check it out. Toby seems to be super sound as well, what a great thing to be so passionate about your job, specially when it comes to bikes, totally get it!
Toby is right. Always be nice to Pedestrians when I'm riding my fat tyre cafe racer style electric bike people are always stopping me to ask questions about how much it costs how fast dose it go because they just see me riding at a normal speed in the park and thanks for reminding Toby he's the boss and all the pressure is on him to keep the lights on 😂😅
Nice tips. That cable routing tool is sick. Wish I had that a few weeks ago. Took me a few days of trial and error to get a dynamo cable through a fork.
0:30 Adelaide made aussie brand often using Japanese range steel. Bought by repco and paid by the government to stop production locally, literally incentived to import instead

I love the seafoam green pegboards! I'm about to build up a work area for bikes in my basement and I'm totally painting my pegboard that color.
Hell ya feels very fresh for sure 👍 good color
@@garysprojects I guess since it's a bike shop, calling the color Celeste would be more appropriate.
