- Cody Rhodes, the cover superstar of WWE 2K24, gives us a brief look at some gameplay for the upcoming wrestling game. In this gameplay clip, legendary wrestler Dusty Rhodes goes head-to-head with his greatest rival, "Superstar" Billy Graham.
Pre-order WWE 2K24 now ahead of its release on Friday March 8, 2024 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|X, and Xbox One.

Yes, but Ric Flair and Arn Anderson aren't in the game this year.
That was arguably his biggest feud (although Dusty himself always said his top rival was Terry Funk), Dusty feuded with the Horsemen for 3 years or so and drew huge money with them. Sadly Flair isn't in the game, however other Dusty rivals are in the game (Harley Race, Boss man, DiBiase, Macho, Terry Funk as dlc). 😊

The Match that almost changed history in 1977. Back when Superstar Billy Graham was WWWF Champion and in what he thought at the time the twilight of his career Vince McMahon Sr. was seriously considering putting the Title on Dusty Rhodes, 2 years before he would win his first NWA Championship. However Dusty and Vince Sr. could never come to an agreement over money and dates, so Dusty and Billy's match in MSG for the title would end in a DQ. Dusty would go to the NWA and become a legend there and in 1978 Billy Graham would eventually drop the title to Bob Backlund.
Yeah Dusty was loyal to Eddie Graham and couldn't promise Vince Sr that he was going to be on every WWWF card, therefore his championship reign never happened. It's a shame because Dusty would have been a huge box office attraction for New York.
@@jonathanturbide2232 It would've not only changed WWWF history but NWA history as well. Because without Dusty Rhodes in NWA Ric Flair wouldn't have had one of his greatest rivals of the 80s.
@FullmetalNinja25 True, Dusty might have never went to work for Jim Crockett, and without Dusty's booking it's doubtful that JCP would have achieved the level of success that they achieved from 85 to 88. A very interesting "what if". 🤔😀

Dusty's *second* NWA World title was "4 years" later in 1981, not his first. His first was in 1979.

No way. It’s so much better just like 2k19. Nothing thing is worse than when your wrestlers are on the bottom or top of the camera view and not see half of what’s going on. Also it makes it look more like the actual broadcast. It’s not like the controls change.
