The 4.5" includes the tires, so it is only 0.5" over the normal at4x, not a 1.5" lift. The facia looks the same, I think they only trimmed and used bigger flares like the old colorado 35 kits.
With all due respect, they'll need to make direct comparisons to the new Tacoma if they want to make noise in the outdoor world. I'm a Toyota guy, but will absolutely consider the Canyon next year when I'm ready to buy......if it stacks up to the Tacoma. I'm looking forward to making honest, open-minded comparisons when I can actually drive both.
I have to call BS on the bespoke tires, not because you're lying Jeff but this is now 4 truck manufacturers who all claim their tires are specifically designed for their vehicles. Ford has said this for the Raptor and Bronco, Jeep with the rubicon and Ram with their PW. Now we have GM with their AEV trucks. We simply know this isn't true, especially in the case of Goodyear, the tread pattern is exactly the same as part #s.
It actually is true and every vehicle above does in fact have a unique oem tire--including this truck. In fact, BFGoodrich made an oem-specific 315/70R17 All-Terrain KO specifically for the Raptor's higher speeds while making another oem-specific 315/70R17 All-Terrain KO for the H2 Hummer at the same time.
GMJ, Have you noticed the GM has removed the landing page on GMC’s site for the AT4X HD?😳 As well as all the images they had.. It’s not even listed under “future vehicles” anymore 😳
That is interesting! Maybe just updating the site? Jounce shocks are optional on the Canyon, which has more tech and luxury features standard than the Colorado. If someone wants it all, they can still get it.
Someone forgot to put the "expedition" in their AEV. Doesn't even come with a Rivian Gear Tunnel. Hard to have this kind of fun without being able to cook out! Definitely a pass on this Show Horse 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐴 effort.
I think this is one bad a** looking truck. But the only thing I really don't care for is that red wightand black interior at least not the patterns it reminds me of a high school marching band uniform. That's just my opinion, but overall, great looking truck.
Yea it’s not a full-size truck,,but you’d have to be 6’8 to just easily step up to bumper,,their pretty tall trucks, not much smaller than a full-size,,

It doesnt matter what it looks like. If the fuel economy sucks and the manufactures aren't doing anything to improve the mpg but you get all the fun off road stuff with sucky mpg...who cares

Tell that to GMC I guess. That’s the information given 👍🏼
@GeneralMotorsJeff yeah I guess they don't define what a lift entails so technically adding bigger tires is a lift, I just find it to be misleading.

That’s one sweet looking truck. I was going to wait for the new Tacoma, but now I’ll wait for this truck.
Jeff u should partner with someone to offer a raffle give away on one of these cool trucks.would be a smash hit for your channel
If only it were that easy! 😂😜

Does it come with the hydraulic jounce bumpers like the Colorado Bison?
I would assume so! If not then that would me 0 sense
No, it actually doesn’t. They said it will be available as an option, but not a standard feature

Any word on the final gear ratio on the AEV version? I think 4.10 would be the minimum for 35s....
