Match Look it the best and biggest Update ever! Thank you so mutch for this! And AI Masking is now really AI. So good! Just downloaded this version yesterday. Very happy! And thanks for improving the „Installer“! Helps to save time. You are great guys. All the best from Switzerland. :-)
@@CaptureOne About match look: If I have the SONY-only version, can I use some random jpgs anyway? Or is there a limitation for importing to sony files?
I would shoot with a Medium format camera, a film camera a crappy camera or a Phone camera but I won’t accept nor imagine myself editing a single image I make with a software other than Capture One Pro. This software changed my world. Thanks C1 team for this amazing software 🎉❤
FYI: Cloud settings, Content credentials (C2PA), and Photoroom background replace are NOT on the Pro tier! Having a base feature on the Pro/All-in-One tier and premium feature version on the Studio tier was fair but completely locking out features on the Pro tier is maddening.
The new skin/face masking awesome! I do a lot of skin work and was contemplating moving my workflow over to Lightroom. But, neh, I'll be sticking with C1.
So many times the updates has not worked for the volume photographer but the cloud settings and possibly the photoroom integration will be amazing new options. You beat Adobe to the cloud settings game :D
Regarding the macOS indexing issue, you can go into Settings > Siri and Spotlight > Spotlight Privacy with you camera tethered you "should" be able to nominate it to be ignored.
For raw files in particular I'm finding copy/paste adjustment still is best for multi items. I was excited about Match but for some reason it's just not giving me the results I see everyone else getting.
It very much depends on the application. If you are looking for consistency with a group of images shot in pretty much the same conditions then copy / paste would make sense. With a lot of variables Match Look is likely to get you far closer.
How do you get MATCH LOOK to use the same curve you selected for your model image or apply a gradient mask you put on the model? (Also your engineer is adorable)
Will pass on to Thies and Rasmussen. ;). You could copy paste a gradient mask from the Layers tool after match look. If you want to use the same curve, disable Luma Curve in the match look tool and then copy paste your desired curve afterwards.
if i want separate masks for lips, eyes, hair, face skin etc, its very tedious to create one after the other. if i check all checkboxes, it creates only one mask for all together. thats not practical either. you should introduce another checkbox that determines whether the other facial masks are combined or separately created.
@@dipo2000 Well I guess you have all the possibilities in the world with the tools in Capture One as opposed to one camera style. But why not load the Match Look tool with some Sony BW JPEGS and then you have a solution.
So for background replace we have to pay a separate subscription of minimum 100 dollars a year? Really? Lightroom does this included in the LR plan also with other tools hardly requested to C1 like multiple pictures combination. Well, seems like definitely is time to migrate to LR and Photoshop, I gave the last chance to C1 to really improve for what we pay but seems this is not happening. Just once my current yearly subscription is over, it's over, I'm moving to better software.
As far as I am aware Lightroom doesn't have a bulk way to remove backgrounds and return them in a variety of different colours / shadows etc. Also importantly, as a background task so you can continue other work. You can read more about it here - support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/22145897282717 Note the target market is for e-commerce and product photographers.
It's sad to see less fetures for ppl that pay lifetime license. Sad also to make them pay again if they have a new camera ..instead of paying separately for camera support....... also no android apps, only apple........Make a Capture One Pro Desktop only, that is cheaper because not everyone makes tons of money from photography, we are also passionate ppl that have photography as a hobby and we don't want that Adobe nonsense on our pc's. I already suggested this on the feature platform..

Match Look - the best idea :) i guess many of the “preset creators” are a little bit upset…

When is AI noise reduction/sharpening like Pure Raw et al going to be part of the package?
Great update, useful video…. In the new people face mask, is there a teeth option? Thanks.
Not currently but thanks for the feedback. :)
Would be great if you could include a separate mask for the iris and sclera.
Noted!
how do you refine/add mask to the fuzzy hair that the mask missed [@56:26]

Good tip! But at least with our new messaging those who don't know how to do this will be warned.

Hi Martin - if you watch here - ruclips.net/user/live-C73BzXdaqM?feature=shared&t=3212 ...you can do this with a Style
Around minute 50 we see a rasmus bw Sony raw in black and white. So now c1 recognize bw pictures and keep it also in raw?
@@dipo2000 It had previously been edited in Capture One.
@@CaptureOne damn but please why it's not possible to implement this? like others sw or manufacturer does. thanks

@@CaptureOne this is great. Sometimes I shot both color and bw and after weeks o month I don't remember which one was the bw ones.
somehow i lost my custom workspace from the previous version. Any help?
Hi Trmb. If you look in Window>Workspace you should see it saved. Also don't forget to customise and save your own regularly.
Photoroom is promising but it seems to downsample the images to social media sizes.
