I lost my husband of 46 years 2 years ago he was from Cuba my one and only love. I just knew he would never look at me again but he found a way to make sure I was ok my heart was so in love but at 16 he still said my princess you are my forbidden fruit I love you but I cant touch you and your father will never let me have you. He kissed me for the very first time that day I still feel those feelings today from that first kiss at 65. My parent's threaten to send me away to my grandparent's in Tennessee we were in Boston I knew they would too. I knew he loved me and respected me and would never disgrace me I also knew I loved him so I did what any hot blooded sixteen year old girl would do. I went to his apartment dressed to become his fruit because he would be my one and only. He said my princess I love you more than my life but I must have you in the right way. Well he drove me home walked me to my fathers door rang the door bell and ask to come in to my surprise he let him in. They spent a very long time talking when they were through my father said to me he loves you and has respected you and has ask to marry you I still feel you are to young but you will keep running to him so I have said yes but I dont think it will work you are to young. We married, I became his fruit happily we had two beautiful daughters and 4 beautiful grandchildren. Our life was beautiful he always treated me like a princess he was gentle kind loving hard working always but us first never let me work there were times he worked two jobs but we never did without or took a penny from the government, He was and still is my prince charming no one could ever fill his shoes. Why I wrote this I dont know I have no idea what Jesse is saying but his music keeps my love real. Thank you thank you and God Bless I am just an old women with memories for my younger years.
