I was at the top golf next to it last week, really wanted to go but my friends wanted to go to golfing. Not the biggest fan of indoor go karting (outdoor is way more fun) but this seems a lot more fun than other places because of how big the track is. My biggest complaint with indoor go karting is that I never get a clean lap because there is always someone slow in front screwing up your lap
My friend works there and was told the carts are toned down in speed due to the fresh new tires. They need to be broken in. Few more months he said then come in for fast duty!!!
Thats... not how these work. Tires don't need to be "broken in". they're speed restricted because of the design of the track. with the undulation, its not safe to have higher speeds, as folks would be launching the karts off their wheels.
The other reason is safety. I hope they split out skilled drivers further to pull track restrictions. If I can't 100% drive the kart to its full potential I'm out. RPM in Jersey City did the same thing and everyone left.
Thats what they have their racing league for according them staff... honestly with the amount of spotters they have i think they have the ability to tell who can and can't drive. Whats annoying is they have people telling you to slow down on turns, turns that I can make completely safe lol. I just ignore them
I was just here on track 2 this past weekend. The Supercharged up in CT is better. That was my first experience before this place opened up in Edison… carts are faster up in CT, the boost button is noticeably faster. Doesn’t surprise me, but it’s a bit disappointing. We went up there on a Sunday and it was pretty quiet- maybe only 8 people on track per race. NJ has so many people and the place is packed by comparison. They probably dial the cars down just from a wear/tear perspective.
Im sure, that's a bit too far tho for us city boys haha... are the karts consistent tho? My experience gas karts are all way too different on tunes, atleast the rental types.
@@HPKPerformance I think it worth the trip. We usually go on the weekends and nothing can beat gas karts compared to slow electric karts. Yeah many are worn out but it's still much better than this. I recommend you guys go there.
I was pushing them to the limit and they told me to chill because the people there couldn’t drive if I can’t push them to the limit why come I can just street race

Was waiting for the carts to start going fast…why was the entire race at walking speed?

Track looks awesome but those cars look slow AF
Maybe because it was the soft opening.. I belive they will unlock them as time goes by and karts wear in.
Good luck 👍
We go to Allentown, PA !! They have gasoline powered and it's 5x faster. No restrictions there. I'm not a fan of electric carts

@@pawelm9967 lol, cant beat this track set up though.
@@HPKPerformance need a fast kart on this track
These are way faster than gas karts. This place is awesome and carts do 50 easy. Agreed on weeding out the shitty drivers
Them carts going to slow for me 😂
Could you happen to share any links or info if one wanted to purchase similar electric race cars for private use? Thank you HPK.
