I trust you. Not everybody had the luck to see the master on stage. There's something about listening the music coming off raw from the band that it can't be matched by any video or music player.
Ronnie James Dio blows this outta the park. Ian Gillian does it great but Dio REALLY takes control of this song! He owns it, his range and his band make this song their own. Ritchie Blackmore was a tyrant to work with but like most difficult artists out comes some great music. In my opinion this is Ronnie James Dio’s song, let’s face it! R.I.P. Ronnie thanks for the love, back atcha ♥️
The bit that starts around 6:10 is just incredible. The combination of that simple but oh so powerful drum fill from Cozy and Dio's amazing voice... Goosebumps. I can listen to that part over and over.
Thank you God, Jesus & the Blessed Trinity for giving the world this amazing Supergroup. Mr. Blackmore & Dio were in all honesty sent by the gods! themselves. Rock on forever, Rainbow ❤
How dare they interrupt the Master with these ads. Pure power channelled from below with such ease. While other vox have to push it out, Dio is containing a storm in that small frame. I love paradoxes. His additional lyrics are always profound. Bravissimo

I am a singer my self. And I know what it takes. Dio is without a doubt the best singer during the last 100 years or so. In any genre. Better than fantastic singers such as Pavarotti, Chris Cornell and Steve Perry. His vocal technique is incredible. He is a true virtuoso. Paired with top-musicality and great talent to tell a story. He was blessed with so many gifts. Most world class singer might have one dimension. He had it all. I miss him a lot.
Peter Majanen Ronnie and Chris my two all time favs. I can’t pick. Sadly both gone. Saw Ronnie twice. Once with sabbath early 80’s and rhen in Dio on the last in line tour. But saw Chris solo and in sound garden and audioslave. I still can’t pick.
@@TheoIam Dio was the blueprint to much of my personal singing inspiration. However, even having seen RjD many times, i only saw Soundgarden once, in San Francisco, and it was a 3+hour set.
