Ik everyone is freaking out about nidhogger and heidrun but tana setting the biggest precedent in a long time is what excites me the most, makes me hopeful for the new heroes banners and the things they could add in the normal summoning pool

Tana is such a good 4* focus that I'm really tempted to grab one copy of her but tbh, other than Duo Heith, I don't really need them all that much? Their mythic version is more than fine, I don't need either Nid or Hres in other season. Actually the only reason I want Duo Heith is because I have no other recent Duo/Harmo unit for my AR-D to activate Duo's Hindrance which is insane. Still the banner last for a while so I'm waiting for the Dessert Banner and the New Heroes, there's also the Re!Chrom and Re!Lucina banner that just drop today which is insane fodder dupe for me.
Everyone out there making high ground references, meanwhile, this is getting out of hand, now there's two of them! (By that, I mean Niohoggr and Heidrun have been some of the most oppressive units in AR, and now they have New Years alts which can be used on any AR season.)

Having strong units on a banner is one thing, but having a strong demote is a whole other level. I remember trying to +10 S!Claude years ago, so hopefully I can get some Tana merges while trying to get Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Yeah it's not over, but i feel like it's because of powercreep led by IS it's just way too having a negative and making people less engaged, I mean don't complain to me if you want to know why powercreep has gotten too far it's because IS keeps releasing even more units with even more toxic exclusive skills that are not supposed to be in FEH.
I would have guessed, that the first tier 4 skill on a 4 star will be sth like Atk/Def Catch 4, but this is really nice. Also smells like a conspiracy...will we get the "old" arcane/attuned now as 4 stars versions with tier 4 skills? 😅
Too many good units coming out too close together. I spent a lot of my Orbs to spark Attuned Hector, and now I have to decided if I want to guarantee a 5* by sparking on the Christmas banner, or ATTEMPT to get something on the New Years banner (I'm F2P, so the Orbs are limited).

Tana looks like an amazing +10 for Arena but I won't bother trying unless I get a good number of copies in my first 40 summons. Also Heirun looks like a great candidate for the LF Miracle spam build.

Hraesvelgr is not a must and Heidrun does really good even with her Original version. The only thing is the Barricade Save but I think base units can work and be enough for teams, no? Is not like Seidr with Duo Seidr. What do you think, king?
wait, does laguz friend work with AOE specials since they are 4CD (3CD because of weapon) so it should work right? unless in the description it excludes AOE specials idk.
I’m quite certain at this point that the next emblem hero will give flat DR piercing. When they start giving out an effect to grail units and as drive and status support, you know they’re getting close to offering a hard counter.

What I don’t get while Bestial Assault doesn’t get rid of the Beast transformation conditions anymore. Sure it would overlap with Fortune in that specific base kit, but all the tier 3 versions of those tier 3 beast skills does it, so I don’t get why those tier 4 version got rid of it, that is kinda bs imo (while another beast 4 skill still had it lol).

I've been noticing that, a bunch of titles seem to have The Lord get a million alts, the Avatar, get a million alts, and what I will call The Girl getting a million alts One random girl IS decided is popular (Even if they're NOT that popular), getting an amount of Alts rivalling the lords and avatars Everyone else is usually begging for scraps

I know this is such a minor thing but i wish theyd give feh units full kits. Whats the point of only giving units a B and C besides money? They have so many skill variations yet to make and it just seems silly to leave the slot empty
I'm a bit concerned with the direction many of these meta units have been taking. I feel it's just becoming more unfun to play against. But hopefully this changes soon? I guess we'll just see. Thanks for the fantastic review as always!
That Divine Talon and Divine Toxin seems really way too powerful. i mean, we already got Niohoggr and Heidrun a different time zones, but really? I mean, c'mon, IS why would they add a duplicate of the same skills? It's gonna be a game creep and also breaking the game meta. Not to mention Duo New years Heidrun recovers 20 HP to one ally, and Divine Toxin has a sabotage skill every turn, so like how in the world am i supposed to counter back?
For me I'm really disappointed with the duo unit, not only did ratatoskr get booted from the banner but they again avoided making a duo beast i dont know why they dont want to make one, its the only weapon type that doesn't have a duo/harmo unit. heck this is the 2nd Ny duo that they change from a beast to a colorless tome (askr/embla) 4 chances for a duo/harmo beast and 2 of them have no excuse leanne, freya, askr/embla, ratatoskr/heidrun If they wanted heidrun as a unit on the banner then i would of preferred niddhogr being a backpack (and i like niddhogr) because she was just released a month ago and ratatoskr would be a unit on the banner.

That Divine Talon and Divine Toxin seems really way too powerful. i mean, we already got Niohoggr and Heidrun a different time zones, but really? I mean, c'mon, IS why would they add a duplicate of the same skills? It's gonna be a game creep and also breaking the game meta. Not to mention Duo New years Heidrun recovers 20 HP to one ally, and Divine Toxin has a sabotage skill every turn, so like how in the world am i supposed to counter back?
For me I'm really disappointed with the duo unit, not only did ratatoskr get booted from the banner but they again avoided making a duo beast i dont know why they dont want to make one, its the only weapon type that doesn't have a duo/harmo unit. heck this is the 2nd Ny duo that they change from a beast to a colorless tome (askr/embla)

If they wanted heidrun as a unit on the banner then i would of preferred niddhogr being a backpack (and i like niddhogr) because she was just released a month ago and ratatoskr would be a unit on the banner.
