I did an inside cabin on my very first cruise. But last few have been with a balcony. I wouldn’t rule out an inside cabin in the future, but not sure I’d enjoy it anymore. The refurbished cabin looks good! Yay a Morgan approved bathroom, lol love it
I'm looking back through older videos just to see what kind of coverage bloggers give Norwegian Cruise Line so that's how I found this video. I am planning to go on the NCL Jade trip out of Athens this fall it has a very nice itinerary and I have enjoyed the Jade in the past. I hope you get a chance to go on the Jade out of Athens this summer or fall as well.
I SO agree with you Morgan about there being plug ins or USB ports by the bed! Just makes sense huh? I was on the Royal princess this summer on a British isles cruise and they didn’t ha d any outlets by the bed!! So I had to get on my hands and needs and unplug the lamp and use that!! And this is a fairly new ship (2014)
I’ve been on two cruises- both NCL. I’ve only had balcony rooms so far but would like to try an inside room to save money. However, unlike most cruisers, my husband and I actually spend a fair bit of time in our cabin. I’m worried we’ll miss having a balcony to sit out on- but at the same time, maybe it will encourage us to be out and about more. If we do try an inside room, I think I’d want the beds separated- seems like you have more space that way.
I’m going to be in cabin 4579 on Jewel in March. Guess it will be the same since Jewel just had drydock. Looks nice enough for me, thanks for the tour!
I will admit I am a fan of the Haven, but seriously this isn’t bad at all! The decor is kind of cool and the bathroom decent. And fancy bath products are normally for only suites, had no idea they put them in all rooms! Cool, they smell heavenly! Not bad for the price I’d say (the only downside is if you are someone who needs a little alone downtime at night, if you aren’t this is perfect!).
We've never done an inside cabin (other than RCL promenade), but it looks cozy enough. We budget $200 per week, for each category jump, so I'm sure we'll be here occasionally.
We have only done 8 cruises. First time w/ NCL last Jan 2023 Encore, inside cabin ( always ), midship always. Very impressed of the ship, delicious food, Indian food, crew .. so friendly and helpful. Inside room .. more Reasonable, we rest better, cozy for Hubby n I and it fits our needs. Thank you for the tour of the room. Jade was refurbished 2017. Thinking of sailing on Jade in near future. Your video is very helpful … The bathroom looks adequate and nice shelves .. Closet is roomy and has plenty of shelves. When we settle in, we always ask our Room Steward .. to remove everything on the frig ( so they will not charge us ) so I can make room for our food stuff .. snacks, drinks. How was the food and entertainment on Jade?
Was aboard Norwegian Gem back in March for my very first cruise and shared an almost identical cabin with my best friend (can confirm that we did not receive the same bathroom "swag" that you did), though ours was not updated like yours. It did however have a folded up extra bunk above my bed, conveniently sticking out from the wall about 4 inches- just far enough to beam my head on it several times a day when sitting up too close to the wall, and become the running gag of the trip!
I LOVE the facet in the bathroom sink and how the nozzle comes out far! Some sinks faucets are like 1 inch long and your hand keeps hitting the sink as your washing your hands, which defeats the purpose of being sanitary
Never had an inside cabin. Looks ok but small. I think it depends where you are going as to how important a balcony is but I could see myself doing an inside cabin on a short cruise to keep it as inexpensive as possible. If you spend most of your time out and about the ship I don't think it would really bother me.
They had the Bvlgari toiletries on the NCL Bliss when we went in June 2018, but not on the NCL Epic when we went in August 2018. I also thought maybe they partnered with them for toiletries!
Please keep talking about the bathrooms, because most others don't! And it's important! I'm 5'1, and I'm not sure I'd even fit in there. But the shower door is excellent, bc no flapping of the curtain!
hi Morgan. I'm looking into Norwegian jade for our second cruise. do u recommend the jade? how was the experience? food service, etc.? i am impressed with the shower having a door. the one on the enchantment for rcl was a curtain
Thank you for your videos. I'm really interested in booking a family cruise on the Jade. So far I've taken 3 pages of notes from your videos. The ONE KEY FACTOR I got from this video is... THE TOILET. I'm 6ft and fat. Lol I'm definitely gonna have problems. Do they have toilets I can use around the ship? Also, any recommendations on sites I can get good deals? This would be our first cruise.
Haha! Yes, there are “public” bathrooms with stalls all over the main areas of the ship and you can shower in the gym changing rooms if you need more space:-)
I think that is an adequate cabin.....we always book inside to get the cheapest rate. We only use the cabin for showering changing clothes sleeping and having "relations".
First, don’t apologize for being 5’5”, the tape doesn’t give the real measure of a man, other more important qualities do. Second, the average human (man or woman) is taller and that’s usually in the legs. I’m 5’9” and looking at that bathroom I’d say the legroom would be a deal breaker for me. Do the balcony or suite cabins have more spacious toilet sitting room?
Haha yes I did! I went on the breakaway, it was my second cruise and my first was 10 years before that!My first cruise was carnival triumph and I liked ncl much better although with 10 years apart I don’t know if it’s a fair comparison :p
Thanks for talking about the toilet, I just upgraded my room because of your video ❤
The renovated cabin looks comfortable and modern, really nice design.
I did an inside cabin on my very first cruise. But last few have been with a balcony. I wouldn’t rule out an inside cabin in the future, but not sure I’d enjoy it anymore. The refurbished cabin looks good! Yay a Morgan approved bathroom, lol love it
I am cruising with Norwegian Jade in 2026. Cann't wait!!!
That cabin looks just like a very nice RV bedroom/bath. I could totally stay in that! Thanks for sharing!

I kinda have this rule when cruising that if you have to do number two, go to the public restroom. NOT IN THE CABIN unless it’s emergency.
nattga that's a good idea actually lol
Always do....do...lol

I think it looks nice. Always avoided the older ships. I look forward to the full video
I feel the jade, Breakaway, and jewel are one of the most underrated ncl ships
We really liked the Jade!

Would you do Promenade view again?
Yep, a cheap upgrade with a continuous view, even at night.
Thanks for the video and comments!

How was the food and entertainment on Jade?
I have an inside on the Jade in November, thanks for the tour!
Well, now you know what to expect! Where are you cruising to?
@@VeryunOfficialTravelGuides I am doing the Panama canal cruise. 11 days!

Dang! I bet that got frustrating!
I'll be honest, it was more funny to us than annoying :D
I was on the same ship about a month ago. I did get those soaps!😊
I LOVE the facet in the bathroom sink and how the nozzle comes out far! Some sinks faucets are like 1 inch long and your hand keeps hitting the sink as your washing your hands, which defeats the purpose of being sanitary
The Bvlgari bath shampoo/lotions are for guests staying in the Haven and soa rooms. So yeah, not standard in regular cabins
Does that mean I’m extra?
I love a balcony for the views and somewhere peaceful to sit but I sleep best in an inside cabin 😀
I know what you mean.
I always get an inside cabin. Saves that $!
Russell Westphal inside or a window. Then spend what you save on drinks 🍷 🍸 🍹 🍺
I’ll be on that ship for the Kiss Kruise this year!!!

Never sailed with Norwegian before, got the free at see package. Any other suggestions.

the gem class is my favorite class of NCL ship.
Great video
The cabin is small but it does look nice. They remodeled it nicely. The toilet situation would be pretty annoying though.
These are products that they incorporated into NCL after they bought Oceania. Oceania always had these Bulgari shampoos and soaps.
Also the things in the bathrooms are vip the bathroom lotions usually say “sooth” on them it smells like lemongrass, so I think that’s vip
hi Morgan. I'm looking into Norwegian jade for our second cruise. do u recommend the jade? how was the experience? food service, etc.? i am impressed with the shower having a door. the one on the enchantment for rcl was a curtain
I really enjoyed the cruise on the Jade, but we were only on her for a short period of time. I have nothing bad to say, that's for sure!
How four passengers can fit in that room?
Thank you for your videos. I'm really interested in booking a family cruise on the Jade. So far I've taken 3 pages of notes from your videos. The ONE KEY FACTOR I got from this video is... Im going to Jade in this December. wonder how triple cabin look on this cruise ship? anyone?
Thinking about 2024 Tampa cruise think Jade has 11 day include Aruba
Any sail Jade have option $2800.
I think that is an adequate cabin.....we always book inside to get the cheapest rate. We only use the cabin for showering changing clothes sleeping and having "relations".
Looks good to me!
Voy a volver al Norwegian Jade he reservado las zonas A2, B1, B2 y C2 yo estaré en la B1

c j I agree ! That was our second ship, navigator was our first 😊
@@ellieb8171 this was my first royal Caribbean ship :)
Ok did you have a flood because that thing in your room at the end looks like a dehumidifier
You’re going to have to wait and see!

Didn't I see carpet on the floor that you just soaked with that bottle.....LOL. The bathroom was nice and bright at least.
Yes, it was carpet 🙀
i was on norwegian star. lol the champagne
I didn’t get those soaps last time!
Sorry! I guess it's because of me being a "VIP" then. But did you have a good time anyways?
Haha yes I did! I went on the breakaway, it was my second cruise and my first was 10 years before that!My first cruise was carnival triumph and I liked ncl much better although with 10 years apart I don’t know if it’s a fair comparison :p
I guess you'll just have to cruise again soon so you have a current comparison! :-P
Not that newly refurbished. It was refurbished in 2016.
You received upgraded toiletries due to vip status
