this song is very hard to sing live, it has so many vocal transitions and speed changes. This really shows his experience bcs the choreo is also one of his most intence if i am not wrong

This song could've been just key-ed higher but no, Taemin really sang the chorus and did so well. P.S: Always remember that pre-recording the vocals for a live stage is not a bad thing especially when the artist will dance to a hardcore choreo like this one!
For this particular performance it seems like he did two takes. Performed twice, sang live in one. They probably used the vocals from the first take and do the second take by lip syncing to get more camera angles. So I personally think this time he really was singing while dancing. T

Actually you can tell his actual voice apart from the pre recorded track cuz there are certain parts where he doesn't sing and you hear the backing track. Then you hear his voice over the backing track and you can hear it conflicting. It's at the beginning mostly.

It's incredibly ingenuine and basically fools most casual listeners into thinking the artist is singing over the track but it's completely stable, clean, and in tune which would be completely unacheivable irl no matter how good an artist is. Basically if there's 0 pitch issues or rhythm issues then the audio is either pre-recorded or edited in post no questions asked.
