  • Here in the Great Lakes region, Trout and Steelhead gorge themselves on helplessly drifting Salmon Alevin. They float in the river currents, unable to swim against the flow, and drift helplessly downstream. This fly pattern is a fairly easy one Materials nomadanglers.com/blogs/fly-ty...

    Very innovative. Not all squirmy wormies are equal. Yours is one of the very best. Thanks for sharing it!

    I tried tying a couple. Funny thing happened. When attaching the squirmy to the hook using crazy glue, it started to smoke...no joke. Decided to use UV resin and worked fine.
    Really nice pattern.

    I love this pattern! Thanks. I am curious, doesn't your worm material dissolve eventually when you use super glue on it?

    Doesn't the glue eat at the squirmy material?

    • @NomadAnglers
      @NomadAnglers  Год назад

      Yes most will, but after trial and error, we found Gel Control loctite does not eat away at the squirmy
