I'll be the first to say it This game actually takes inspiration from another older game called Presentable Liberty, where you were a prisoner who would get mail every day from different people, though sounds boring, every single letter had a certain emotion from it, ad you could love, hate, or envy a character through the letter. It was a such a simple concept done Extremely well. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU PLAY PRESENTABLE LIBERTY, though it does sound dumb it is seriously not for the faint of heart. Its a very dark depressing game made by a developer who is unfortunately no longer with us The developer at the time while making Presentable Liberty was depressed unfortunately, and soon after he eventually took his own life.
Oh that's... goodness, that is seriously tragic, I had to look up more info about the history, and seems like there was going to be a remake. However, the Kickstarter failed, and from what I read it seems like the creator wanted to contact Mark (most likely Markiplier) to promote the game. He took his own life on 2018 after everything failed as soon as depression kicked backed, relaxed, and spread it's negativity onto the creator. I wish the best for his friends and family, as well for people who are suffering from depression & suicidal thoughts. Let's hope the future will be bright for anyone suffering such conditions, as well for anyone reading this, and hey, you also stay safe, friend. ~Kai
I went in blind to this game and I hate it… it got me so attached to everyone… and then they were just ripped away from me, one by one, and they were telling me what they were doing right until their final moments, Elizabeth was so kind, if she had waited one more day, Sam, he just found a woman he could love, and Smile Friend, he sacrificed himself for the sake of his daughters, yet it was all in vain. 10/10 game, almost got me crying at Elizabeth’s death, I thought it was gonna be a fun simple escape game, we had beautiful decorations, but it was a heart tugging story. I stopped breathing for a second. if only she waited. one more day. I could have seen her. Hearing about our optimistic friend sam made me smile every time. the gradual pieces of the table. hearing about his adventures. when I got the letter from MR. money saying he got eletrecuted. Trying to save US. it shocked me. but I had to bite the bullet. and swallow its bitter taste. me being edgy aside this was a great game and I loved it. Shoutout to tw1st on hidden games for helping me find this.

This game actually made my heart ache There's so many heartbreaking topics. The worse is people literally insulting smile friend because he said "We are not friends.", the guy was clearly at his lowest, imagine having your daughters kidnapped and you couldn't be sure they was safe? He was blackmailed to make the mc (player) happy, he even went as far to selling his ORGAN to get money to buy us a gift so we don't get sad, self-h4rm or commit suicide, because he was deeply scared for his daughters. And then imagine yourself in his situation and suddenly you finds out your daughters died and you couldn't give a last hug or properly say goodbye? He sold all his organs knowing he would die in the procedure, and he just didn't cared anymore, his reasons to live was mostly gone. Elizabeth unfortunately was clearly also at lowest (probably everyone was dealing with depression at that point), she lose everyone too, even her customers and family (if she had one of course), she was lonely and just wished to the player see her, she wasn't even replied and she probably had her doubts on the player basically not being alive at all and she was hopeless. But she was kind and strong, she watched the people dying with that "antidote" and "organs" of Mr Money, as she stated, on her window was just blood, she was commited suicide and went to another room because she didn't wanted the player to see her dead, she didn't wanted to make us lose our hope. Sam also suffered, he was trying to be happy and live normally but he had his struggles and was alone, he couldn't tell if his friend (Player) was alive and he was sending letters to nobody. He died trying to free us, he wished to see us one last time and at least shake our hand, and he died without doing that. The player also wasn't fine, he was locked up receiving letters, imagine the only people who send you letters is at their lowest and all dying and you couldn't even reply? He had to read all Elizabeth's lonely letters, Smile Friend telling how far he's going without the player being able to say "Nah bro, alr, im happy, just no bitches at all.", he read Sam's letters without being able to reply him, clearly, Sam was a real friend who cared about the player, it must be heartbreaking to the player to not reply his friend. Player had to deal knowing everyone's outside dying, Mr Money kidnapping Smile Friend's daughters, Elizabeth shoting herself, Sam dying eletrocuted when he was close to save them both and Mr Money basically showing his true colors. Of course i'm stating the obvious, basically saying what happened in game and the sad parts that are literally what i write, but some people looks like they don't even read the stuff in the game, i mean- Smile Friend was literally killing himself slowly to save his daughter and was all in vain, Sam died trying to save us, and Elizabeth was deeply lonely and hurt seeing everything that was happening. Me, personally, sometimes smiled seeing the initial Smile Friend's dumb letters, Elizabeth's was all kind and heart warming, and Sam telling his adventures and the table thingy, it was all fun. I think that probably, if we had the option to write letters back, things would change a bit, i mean- the player could tell Elizabeth to keep playing her violin so Sam would met up with her first, Elizabeth wouldn't be alone and i think she wouldn't die, and they both would know the player was fine and alive, Smile Friend would probably keeps dead (rip) Btw, i don't know what i'm saying, i'm sleepy and just putting words i'm gonna die help 😓

smile -friend was the only one i wanted to survive. the ''friend'' -- went on a whole trip without you then ''elizabeth'' -- shes just a lonely person i dont know ''smile-friend'' -- a person in an actually bad position and also has a family, he went through thick and thin to entertain us.
you have the wrong view of things- the guy went on an adventure while his friend was locked up. the friend was someone who would send letters to you daily, unaware if you were dead or not. and in the end, he died trying to save you. smile-friend went through thick and thin to save his daughters. once his daughters were gone he had no other option than to give you what he thought would've been best. elizabeth was someone who, with nobody else in the word, was trying to talk with someone who also **might not even be alive**. both elizabeth and sam tried talking to you even though you might not be alive. sam died to free you, and elizabeth died from her loneliness. please never talk about how "he was fake bc he went without me" and how "shes just some weirdo", theres more depth that you have to account for

This is legitimately the first Roblox game that really got me feeling for the characters. It’s so clever how the game makes you feel helpless and how you can’t do anything to stop what is happening
I think what makes it sadder is that everyone was so close to a happier ending - Sam heard Elizabeth's speaker. Next day player would meet Elizabeth. Sam was in the same building as player. Then everything went bad - Sam didn't reach Elizabeth before she stopped playing music, got electrocuted, Elizabeth took her life.

Honestly, I played that game. It’s so sad. It’s not the best ending, but it was my first time playing it, but it was so sad just in case you want to play it will be warned that it will be very sad. You have been warned, but it’s a really good game. It’s a really interesting. I had so many questions but it’s so good. You should try it. I really recommend it.
Man this game was so devastating. It also reminds me of Danganronpa, especially since most of Sam's and Elizabeth's notes reminded me of how Makoto was in the first game. This game made me really sad. The entire time I was playing it I was silently hoping that everything would be okay. That Mr. Money was lying to us to get us to lose hope. However one by one everyone got taken away from us. I started crying when Sam died. Mr. Money did this to us on purpose. I cried every time someone else died. I got so attached to them all. I wanted them to live. I got the good ending and went to Elizabeth's bakery and read her final note. I'm so upset. The loneliness got to her before we could. I wished Sam had stayed away. He would've lived. Mr. Money, I hate you. You ruined everything. You killed everyone. This is all your fault and you will get what's coming to you.
Smile friend: he had that employee training tape happines with his act. When his daughters died. He dropped it. My only issue. He says that he is not your friend. When he sold his body just to get you the last gift. Elizabeth: she felt like the friend you needed. The violin music she played fit perfectly to the vibe. She told you about the weird things about mr money and the virus. Only issue. The way she was killed of was dumb. Like "oh one minutes after evening? Guess im🪦" Sam: he let you know how the outside world is. When he returned to town he was just as confused as you. He made you a table. When he came to the "prision" he noticed the oddities. He even electrocuted himself just to save you. Its even more heartbreaking in the bad ending as you dont do it. Mr money: he was clearly the villain but thats ok. Gifts: bug (from sam), it was the company you needed. Teddy bear, poster, rug (from smile friend), they felt forced but that was the whole point of smile friend. Table (sam), he made it to spruce up your living. Painting (i forgor who) its color scheme fitted the feel. Money picture (mr money) something to keep your attention away from smile friends disobedience, cake (from elizabeth), her wanting to make you feel better. Ball (smile friend) his final goodbye, not a "goodbye see you tommorow😊😊😊😊😊" but a "goodbye". Endings: Bad ending: After reconsidering your options. Face the harsh outside where noone will be there for you (lizzy offd herself, sam electrocuted, smile friend sold his organd). You decide. That staying in the cell. With gifts. Isnt that bad.. when you stay. Mr money drops the act.. he mocks your choice. Days later.. you are killed for your organs Good ending: after considering a lot. You decide to leave. The hallway outside is short. On the ground you find... elevator buttons?. You enter your unlocked cel again.. and the hole wirh wires.. the buttons perfectly fit in.. it all makes sense as to why there is no elevator. You are in the elevator. All this time. You were one push of a button from freedom.after leaving. Its nighttime. The only lights outside are that of the prision and... elizabeths pastries... its even more heartbreaking because... you're just minutes late.. she is already dead.. when you enter.. you find blood splatter and a letter.. it describes how you finally found freedom and that she is sorry for.. esc + R -ing herself. But she wishes you the best of luck.... Those two endings.. neither seem good. But they're clearly marked as to which is the "good one". This game does so much with so little

Games with bad endings always feel like cliffhangers. This game left a great void in my heart, and a lot of what ifs in my mind. Devs did very well at creating this game and I hope in the future they'll make one similar or expand onto it.
I have never wished so bad for the reset button to actually be effective. The fact the prison just felt like torture. Sam died trying to save us Elizabeth died trying to wait for us Smile-Friend dies trying to entertain us. They all died, trying to make us. Happy. This game broke me
This reminds me of sam i am but with a twist (The guy that looks like a dog becomes friend with sam and later on meets elizabeth but then one day the guy that looks like a dog goes to prison for whatever reason and then sam starts sending letters he realizes he has a smile friend (smile friend is a innocent girl) but soon after he got letters by elizabeth, elizabeth said to the guy who look like a dog “hi you might not remember me but were the only ones that arent infected by the way my names elizabeth” Then guy who look like dog gets a letter by mr money saying smile friend died :(. next day elizabeth gets tired of the silence and puts on a radio to help guy who look like dog hear her but she couldnt take it and oofed herself. Sam still hasnt given up but is still confused on why everyone is missing. Sam then reaches the prison and figures out that the cells are shut by a electricity something whatever but sam died trying to save his best friend.. GOOD ENDING elizabeth tries to wait more longer, Then sam finds elizabeth and team up to find guy who look like dog then sam is smart enough to use a device to stop the electricity without dying and succeeds then they meet with guy who look like dog and team up to kill mr money and then again succeeds so then guy who look like dog remembers about smile friend then decides to save her by replacing mr moneys organs “mr money is secretly smile friends grandfather and they are blood related and organ related but also guy who look like dog is a surgeon, doctor and scientist so he figures out how to do it while sam and elizabeth play together. Smile friend survived and then they realized sam got infected “fyi guy who look like dog got rid of smile friends disease” so then guy who look like dog got rid of it so they move to another town that was safe and all lived happy ever after! (My fingers hurt😢)

This game is so bad, how do people actually get attached to these characters if youre over the age of 12? The whole time it only talks about virus, virus, im Mr. Money and i like money, im a metaphor for greed and capitalism man i like being bad and you are so important, organs, and organs, people need organs because they will die, organs, organs btw. you have the wrong view of things- the guy went on an adventure while his friend was locked up. the friend was someone who would send letters to you daily, unaware if you were dead or not. and in the end, he died trying to save you.
smile-friend went through thick and thin to save his daughters. once his daughters were gone he had no other option than to give you what he thought would've been best.
elizabeth was someone who, with nobody else in the word, was trying to talk with someone who also **might not even be alive**. both elizabeth and sam tried talking to you even though you might not be alive.
sam died to free you, and elizabeth died from her loneliness. please never talk about how "he was fake bc he went without me" and how "shes just some weirdo", theres more depth that you have to account for

This is legitimately the first Roblox game that really got me feeling for the characters. It’s so clever how the game makes you feel helpless and how you can’t do anything to stop what is happening

I think what makes it sadder is that everyone was so close to a happier ending - Sam heard Elizabeth's speaker. Next day player would meet Elizabeth. Sam was in the same building as player. Then everything went bad - Sam didn't reach Elizabeth before she stopped playing music, got electrocuted, Elizabeth took her life.
I felt so bad for the Sam , he sacrifaced himself to save us...
I think of the mc as Itadori and Mr Money as Mahito, if the mc gets to find Mr Money, he would probably recreate the hunting scene

This was the first ever video game that me have an emotional break down, the feelings I felt when smile friend donated his organs, or when I escaped to Elizbeths shop. This made me think different about life.
The fact that the ,,good ending" is worse than the bad ending just breaks me. Tbh, there's no other readon to live if the world is just dying and u will anyways be the last one to live..
Honestly, I played that game. It’s so sad. It’s not the best ending, but it was my first time playing it, but it was so sad just in case you want to play it will be warned that it will be very sad. You have been warned, but it’s a really good game. It’s a really interesting. I had so many questions but it’s so good. You should try it. I really recommend it.
Man this game was so devastating. It also reminds me of Danganronpa, especially since most of Sam's and Elizabeth's notes reminded me of how Makoto was in the first game. I can't believe one day I spent bored looking through roblox games would change my perspective on life. RIP Smiley, RIP Sam, RIP Elizabeth, and Mr. Money should've died by his own antidote. This game is a solid 10/10.

This game made me really sad. The entire time I was playing it I was silently hoping that everything would be okay. That Mr. Money was lying to us to get us to lose hope. However one by one everyone got taken away from us. I started crying when Sam died. Mr. Money did this to us on purpose. I cried every time someone else died. I got so attached to them all. I wanted them to live. I got the good ending and went to Elizabeth's bakery and read her final note. I'm so upset. The loneliness got to her before we could. I wished Sam had stayed away. He would've lived. Mr. Money, I hate you. You ruined everything. You killed everyone. This is all your fault and you will get what's coming to you.
Smile friend: he had that employee training tape happines with his act. When his daughters died. He dropped it. My only issue. He says that he is not your friend. When he sold his body just to get you the last gift.
Elizabeth: she felt like the friend you needed. The violin music she played fit perfectly to the vibe. She told you about the weird things about mr money and the virus. Only issue. The way she was killed of was dumb. Like "oh one minutes after evening? Guess im🪦"
Sam: he let you know how the outside world is. When he returned to town he was just as confused as you. He made you a table. When he came to the "prision" he noticed the oddities. He even electrocuted himself just to save you. Its even more heartbreaking in the bad ending as you dont do it.
Mr money: he was clearly the villain but thats ok.
Gifts: bug (from sam), it was the company you needed. Teddy bear, poster, rug (from smile friend), they felt forced but that was the whole point of smile friend. Table (sam), he made it to spruce up your living. Painting (i forgor who) its color scheme fitted the feel. Money picture (mr money) something to keep your attention away from smile friends disobedience, cake (from elizabeth), her wanting to make you feel better. Ball (smile friend) his final goodbye, not a "goodbye see you tommorow😊😊😊😊😊" but a "goodbye".
Endings:
Bad ending: After reconsidering your options. Face the harsh outside where noone will be there for you (lizzy offd herself, sam electrocuted, smile friend sold his organd). You decide. That staying in the cell. With gifts. Isnt that bad.. when you stay. Mr money drops the act.. he mocks your choice. Days later.. you are killed for your organs
Good ending: after considering a lot. You decide to leave. The hallway outside is short. On the ground you find... elevator buttons?. You enter your unlocked cel again.. and the hole wirh wires.. the buttons perfectly fit in.. it all makes sense as to why there is no elevator. You are in the elevator. All this time. You were one push of a button from freedom.after leaving. Its nighttime. The only lights outside are that of the prision and... elizabeths pastries... its even more heartbreaking because... you're just minutes late.. she is already dead.. when you enter.. you find blood splatter and a letter.. it describes how you finally found freedom and that she is sorry for.. esc + R -ing herself. But she wishes you the best of luck....
Those two endings.. neither seem good. But they're clearly marked as to which is the "good one".

Games with bad endings always feel like cliffhangers. This game left a great void in my heart, and a lot of what ifs in my mind. Devs did very well at creating this game and I hope in the future they'll make one similar or expand onto it.
I have never wished so bad for the reset button to actually be effective. The fact the prison just felt like torture.

(The guy that looks like a dog becomes friend with sam and later on meets elizabeth but then one day the guy that looks like a dog goes to prison for whatever reason and then sam starts sending letters he realizes he has a smile friend (smile friend is a innocent girl) but soon after he got letters by elizabeth, elizabeth said to the guy who look like a dog “hi you might not remember me but were the only ones that arent infected by the way my names elizabeth” Then guy who look like dog gets a letter by mr money saying smile friend died :(. next day elizabeth gets tired of the silence and puts on a radio to help guy who look like dog hear her but she couldnt take it and oofed herself. Sam still hasnt given up but is still confused on why everyone is missing. Sam then reaches the prison and figures out that the cells are shut by a electricity something whatever but sam died trying to save his best friend.. GOOD ENDING elizabeth tries to wait more longer, Then sam finds elizabeth and team up to find guy who look like dog then sam is smart enough to use a device to stop the electricity without dying and succeeds then they meet with guy who look like dog and team up to kill mr money and then again succeeds so then guy who look like dog remembers about smile friend then decides to save her by replacing mr moneys organs “mr money is secretly smile friends grandfather and they are blood related and organ related but also guy who look like dog is a surgeon, doctor and scientist so he figures out how to do it while sam and elizabeth play together. Smile friend survived and then they realized sam got infected “fyi guy who look like dog got rid of smile friends disease” so then guy who look like dog got rid of it so they move to another town that was safe and all lived happy ever after! (My fingers hurt😢)

This game is so bad, how do people actually get attached to these characters if youre over the age of 12? The whole time it only talks about virus, virus, im Mr. Money and i like money, im a metaphor for greed and capitalism man i like being bad and you are so important, organs, and organs, people need organs because they will die, organs, organs btw. The organs part does not even make sense the slightest and virus immune organs dont even matter. All the characters besides Sam feel like a 4 year old british kid wrote them.
