TTB - question. I assume the quirks don't apply to Binary Lasers? I would assume you would have checked that, just thinking out loud because that would save a couple tons for more cooling or something if so.
It is really sad that teachers universally are underpaid for what they do and what they put up with. I was very lucky and had amazing teachers that did a lot for me, they really cared.
The problem facing education is that the politician who does something to help the problem won't be around in that same position to reap the benefits when the results show in the crop of high school graduates many years later.
I've literally been running a similar Trebuchet build for the last couple of weeks but I run it in a TBT-5N for the higher Cooldown percentage, with 4 ERLLs instead. It's quite hotter, but you can shoot people from literally any distance. Optimal of around 1000 or a bit more.

That's a fun mech to play with and large lasers with duration reduction feel so goddamn good. But the mech has an aussue and it's big. It's the weapon placement. I seriously hate medium mechs that put weapons in the arms. You can eat a fat alpha from the assault and half your weapons are gone. Also there's pretty much zero reason for medium mechs to place weapons in the arms due to fast enough body rotation. So there's my only issue with this mech. If it had weapons in the torso, I would have said "it's amazing"
Personally, I always preferred the 2 BNL and 3ML; I just performed considerably better overall. Sacrificing flexibility for survivability, but panned out for me.
State lvl education is best. You think teachers union promotes good eduation with tenures? The US has the worst grades and heighest cost of education. Again look at the national debt. You don't want government doing what it doesn't have to.

They did work with Blazers last I tested.
My personal favorite build on this is 2x Blazer + 3x ERML.

Simultaneously there's some wretchedly bad teachers out there that frankly just make everything worse

I gotta get this variant though to try it out.
There are considerably better mediums for ERLL. Heat gen > duration > range > cooldown
Low tonnage and laser duration quirk -> binary lasers fit better, I suppose

You can use both. If your goal is lowest possible laser burn duration LL > BLC

Only affects the beginning of the first match: German teachers are among the best paid in Europe. Only Luxembourg and Switzerland pay more.
