  • In this video I allow you to take a quick gander at what the boys from Swindon (and one from Kingston upon Thames) has brought those little devils that are the XTC fanatics. Drums and Wires is sounding even better, but is also bigger. Instrumentals, Bonus Tracks, Studio Sessions, Music Videos and more are given to the lucky sons-of-a-guns who buy this instalment in the remastered series. Also, (never mind getting it a few days before most people), I'm given a little surprise when opening...

Great album. This is where the real XTC formula stared coming together.

If you like XTC, give early Squeeze a listen. Especially their “Cool For Cats” album.

How you say "...the boys from Swindon..." in your description box reminds me of the best mockumentary slash reality show ever, The Office. How Brent would say "... that lot from Swindon..." in a derogatory way. Too funny. "Drums and Wires" is one of my fav albums of all time. I only like a handful of their songs from other albums. They were to play in my town, Eugene, Oregon, USA, back in the early 80s, but the lead guitarist got stage fright, right? And that's ultimately what killed them: they couldn't tour because of his severe stage fright. Something like that. Correct me if I'm wrong.
