Oh, I'm glad that the issue with the turrets could be resolved successfully, and their machine spirits could be realigned. Praise be to the Omnissiah. And yes, heavy cruisers with 11-inch guns in 1906, I can't say no to that!
I like austria-hungary's early dreadnought hulls because you can make them super compact, you can fit a lot more weight on them. Having them be designed as semi-dreadnoughts with only 2 centerline turrets you can build a quite cheap, quite well armored ship that is not too bad in a fight, too.
Huzzah the Super Cruiser lineage continues. While i'm not sure if the ACV will be a good hull to continue the lineage with, however when you get modern heavy cruiser II please give it 12" (11.9") main guns and push the boundary between cruiser and capital ship!
Loved the video @BrotherMunro! Can't wait for the next video man! The New Endurance-class Light Cruisers that are under Construction look like Mirrored Dido-class Light Anti-Aircraft Cruisers from the Royal Navy in World War Two. The Dido's had 3 Twin Turrets on the Bow and 2 Twin Turrets on the Stern, while the Endurance's have 2 Single Turrets on the Bow and 3 Single Turrets on the Stern. I would Recommend going with the 3 Centerline Twin Turrets for your Dreadnought Battleship as you can build your own Version of the Renown-class Battlecruisers. Once you've gotten your Research done, you can then Build your own Version of the HMS Hood with the 4 Centerline Twin Turrets. From there you can go to town and Build Whatever design of Capital Ship you'd need. Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man!
First Convoy in the Adriatic Die Presse: Wein MCMVI: 6 September 1906 The Ambition class Panzerschiffe Feldkirch **, from the Spalato Marinestation and Wiener Neustadt, from the Pula Seearsenal in Croatia, joined three Cardinal class Gepanzerkreuzer, the Cardinal, lead of her class and Echo of Damnation, from the Pula Marinestation in Croatia, and the Villach, from the Spalato Marinestation in Croatia, were on patrol off Spalato when they found an Italian convoy of four Durbo class 13 thousand ton 63 manned unarmed transports trying to sneak down the Croatian coast, escorted by the Fulminante Class 1901 Refit Incrociatore corazzato Zeffiro and three Basilicata Class Incrociatori protetti, the class lead Basillicata and her sister ships Duce degli Abruzzi and Regioni. On sighting the funnel smoke of half a dozen ships the Austrian ships formed on Wiener Neustadt with Cardinal, Feldkirch, Villach following. Echo of Damnation sighted the enemy and fell back to follow Villach. Wiener Neustadt was able to open fire first with her 10” guns and got the first hit of the battle on Zeffiro. Soon Wiener Neustadt was in 5” range, and both sides were exchanging fire, with Wiener Neustadt hitting Regioni. Regioni turned away and Basillicata was up next. Basillicata took a magazine hit which blew her turrets off. Basillicata sank with 708 of her 751 man crew. Wiener Neustadt launched her starboard torpedoes at the remaining Incrociatori to move them away from their charges. She picked out Regioni as the next target as the ship was already flooded fore and aft and beginning to list. Regioni sank with 739 of her 751 man crew. The battle line then targeted the Incrociatore corazzato Zeffiro. She was quickly torn up and flooded out, losing 149 of her 786 man crew, the survivors abandoning her burning wreck when they saw Cardinal’s torpedo about to hit. Wiener Neustadt was able to finish Duce degli Abruzzi with a torpedo of her own, the Italian ship sinking with 695 of her 751 man crew. The Kreuzer went on to sink the convoy, taking out Filippo Coridoni with 58 of her 63 man crew, San Giorgio grande with 54, Domenico Millelire with 61, and the convoy leader Durbo with all hands. The Italian Merchant Marine lost 52 thousand gross registered tons of shipping, 236 officers and seamen killed or lost in the Adriatic, and 16 captured. 748 members of the Italian Marina Militare were also captured. Only Wiener Neustadt took damage, and suffered 12 casualties. ** Marksman’s Honour, Twice Rewarded
Need to name a few of the dreadnaughts after primarchs (or when you hit battleship 1 in the 30s/40s) and a superbattleship as the god-emperor of mankind
I like how you called your first Dreadnought design the 'Contemptor' - You are setting yourself a good 'trend' here of naming each 'Dreadnought Battleship' class after a class of 40k Dread! Coming soon: "Leviathan", "Daredeo", and "Castaferum" - AND, the 'Super Dreadnought' Ships can be named after the variants of the new Primaris Dreadnought ("Redemptor", "Brutalis", & "Balistus"). Bonus points: Name a Modern Battlecruiser design the "Invictor" :P Of course, once you have the 'name ships' for all your classes, you just have to look up 'famous Space Marine Dreadnoughts' of that class for extra names! You absolutely MUST name one of your Contemptors "Rylanor", for obvious reasons... ~JD
I like the Endurances, they look really cool. Normally you have to give that hull at least three funnels to get it going a decent speed, but in this case, only two is aesthetically pleasing. Also 33:41 not unprecedented, that was the kind of range at which both sides started scoring hits in the Battle of Tsushima

I just wanna ask, which mod are you using that lets you see the months for the research? I also want to ask what’s the button to let you spin individual ship parts around so that fit better, I still haven’t found that one if it’s even in the base game
Since the base game will show you the months til a tech once you get close enough to it, I would guess that if anything, the DIP mod may lower the threshold for showing that information. Afaik, The only other mod he is running is tweaks and fixes
Yup it’s part of the Dreadnought Improvement Project mod, you only need to go 1 turn after starting a new research project to find out how long it is going to take. I tried setting it to zero but that broke the entire game 😂
Once I get DNs I never bother with AC anymore, I wait till i get BC's and build small all big gun BC's with 9-11 inch guns and use them Far superior to the crappy AC hulls you get
The constructor is very finnicky, if you dont place the mouse cursor on the yellow circle on a raised barbette, the big gun wont seem to fit. But it does, you just have to place it exactly on the yellow dot. Poor coding.

RIP the aggressor class zero conning tower armor will surely spell doom for them
Yes I notice this myself the first time I get to use them 😅
@@BrotherMunro I say we start a donation so you can get a giant sign that says check conning tower armor 😂
@@pyschomutt8713 by all means! I probably won’t be able to remember then either 😅
@@BrotherMunro you're probably right we should make it neon green and pulsating 😂
He’s a UK native, they were the first to step away from Con Tower armor IRL… 😂😂
I swear sometimes he does it on purpose! Lol
Those Aggressors are like pocket pre-dreadnought battleships. :)
Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man!
the lack of secondary's on the aggressor makes me sad and its machines spirit
First Convoy in the Adriatic
Die Presse: Wein
MCMVI: 6 September 1906
The Ambition class Panzerschiffe Feldkirch **, from the Spalato Marinestation and Wiener Neustadt, from the Pula Seearsenal in Croatia, joined three Cardinal class Gepanzerkreuzer, the Cardinal, lead of her class and Echo of Damnation, from the Pula Marinestation in Croatia, and the Villach, from the Spalato Marinestation in Croatia, were on patrol off Spalato when they found an Italian convoy of four Durbo class 13 thousand ton 63 manned unarmed transports trying to sneak down the Croatian coast, escorted by the Fulminante Class 1901 Refit Incrociatore corazzato Zeffiro and three Basilicata Class Incrociatori protetti, the class lead Basillicata and her sister ships Duce degli Abruzzi and Regioni.

Love overgunned Ca's, almost as much as I love overgunned Torpedo Boats!
Bonus points: Name a Modern Battlecruiser design the "Invictor" :P
Of course, once you have the 'name ships' for all your classes, you just have to look up 'famous Space Marine Dreadnoughts' of that class for extra names! You absolutely MUST name one of your Contemptors "Rylanor", for obvious reasons...
~JD
We have a Rylanor 😄
I like the Endurances, they look really cool. Normally you have to give that hull at least three funnels to get it going a decent speed, but in this case, only two is aesthetically pleasing.
Also 33:41 not unprecedented, that was the kind of range at which both sides started scoring hits in the Battle of Tsushima

You know it tells you how many centerline guns you can mount on the image of the turret you selected. It says 3/3 for instance.
I have never noticed that!!

Can you add a Q turret to one of your dreadnoughts
Hurrah. I hoped for a New faster Torpedoboat with more guns
For the Del Mar, have you considered a possible "Q" turret or is there no space?
Just out of curiosity, are you going to design a new torpedo boat/destroyer, with the newer hull?
I’ll skip to an actual destroyer, I’m not a big fan of the oversized torpedo boat things the Austrians get
@@BrotherMunro ahh, I see!
"T" and "R" are the keys for rotating parts.
I have heard somewhere that army logistics might have to do with the amount of CL tonnage in the fleet. Can anyone confirm?
It is not, it does scale on power projection though so battleships are the most efficient ship to build if you want to increase army logistics
18:16 No Conningtower Armour...
It’s tradition!
@@BrotherMunro it truly is... I've picked up the same habit..... And I believe it to be your fault.... : )
Maybe they have Plot Armour to protect them?
@@ursmersmann6736 probably! 😂
😍
Once I get DNs I never bother with AC anymore, I wait till i get BC's and build small all big gun BC's with 9-11 inch guns and use them
Far superior to the crappy AC hulls you get
Historically accurate!
I've NEVER seen the engine efficiency reach 1000%. TBH that's quite excessive.
Engine efficiency is all over the place since the devs messed with engines and fuel in 1.6
@@BrotherMunro Right ... Understood.
The constructor is very finnicky, if you dont place the mouse cursor on the yellow circle on a raised barbette, the big gun wont seem to fit. But it does, you just have to place it exactly on the yellow dot. Poor coding.
Day 67 of posting a obligatory comment to boost engagement

Mmmh yummy 1000% engine efficiency and still only 4200km range xd
